I cried myself to sleep on Max's shoulder. At some point I was covered up with a blanket and Max adjusted me so my head was on his lap.The time I was asleep I heard conversations."Why did you come? We were perfectly fine." An annoyed voice responds back."Not from where I stood. It was only a matter of time before they found the princess.If they didn't find her with the Captain they would still be looking.You know that." "I also know that I was harshly trained to protect the princess from them. I was sent with her to protect her not you." A harsh deep laugh echos through the cabin of the ship."Is that what you call that? Protecting the princess? Very interesting it looked to me like you just let her lie to you-" I had enough of this arguing I sit up and glare at Dex."Enough! Do not speak to him like that!You have no right." Max looks startled by my sudden outburst and I don't blame him.They thought I was asleep.Dex glares at Max all while saying,"As you wish my,lady." Max glares back and it looks like they are having a silent battle."I have to say however Max should have kept a closer eye on you." "I kept an eye on her for 16 and a half years! Nothing has happened!" Max jets up and so does Dex."Nothing yet! What happened to the last three years of keeping an eye on her?You were careless with her! Your lucky that the Captain and Sargent Tanic knew how to fight!" "I know how to fight! She is not hurt." I jet up and stand between them."ENOUGH!" A bright silver wave shows up again and the air ship shakes for a second then levels out."I don't know who you think you are but you do not get to speak to Max like this! So do not yell at him like this!" I spin to Max turning my rampage on him. I point a finger at him."And you! You should have told me about my parents!You knew that if I didn't hear from them that I would go to visit them!How could you keep something like this from me?!" "Ari I just-" "No! No,do not give me that whole I was just trying to protect you crap! I am so sick of hearing that!" I angrily point at him."You do not get to get out of this easily!You lied to me about my parents,you lied to me about who you are,what else are you lying about?" Max holds out his hands."Look Ari I know your mad." I laugh smugly."Yeah I am." The airship shakes more."I know but you have to clam down.If you don't you could bring this airship down.You can yell at me all you want when we get to our location but for now please just calm down enough for us to get there safely."I take a deep breath and nod."Fine.But when we land Maxwell you are going to get it." Max winces at my voice.I sit down and cross my arms over my chest.Max tenderly sits down beside me,but I turn my head away from him and ignore him for the rest of the ride. Having a rough day? I jump at the voice intruding my thoughts. Easy.Wouldn't want the feuding boys to see what's wrong.Besides this is really the only way I can talk to the princess. Why does everyone keep saying that? I have no idea what is going on. A chuckle imitates through my mind. Don't worry most of us don't either. I looked around trying to find out who is speaking with me. Its called glamour. A sort of disguise. I sit back and recall having read about glamour in books.Dex steps to the window."Princess welcome to Caricosia." I look out the window and my breath is taken away with the sight.Valleys of rolling hills and trees.A large village is placed in the center.Little dots of people are walking about.On the highest hill is a beautiful,glittering castle.In the sunlight it looks like jewels splatter the castle.Towers run around the entire castle and there is even a greenhouse.Literally it is green. The ship lands a few minutes later and people are surrounding it.The back hatch opens and golden sunlight fills the ship.The man my mother called Devon steps towards me."Welcome home princess." I slowly step out and am greeted by hundreds of interestingly dressed people.Gaurds dressed in the same uniform as the group on the airship hold back the screaming,shoving people. I am surrounded by guards and Max is standing beside me.I don't acknowledge his presence and continue looking forward icing him out.I may be in a different place with different people, but I am still mad at him.Dex is leading us and I stare at the back of his head studying him.The way his shoulders are tense like he is ready for an attack at any minute.His hands are relaxed but near his sword.Devon is right beside him posture relaxed much unlike Dex. "About time you guys arrived.I have been worried sick." Mrs. Morrison? Dex and Devon stop in their tracks."Isabella?" Dev rushes to her and she places a hand on her mouth.Dev wraps her in his arms and hugs her tight.I can hear the sobs from Mrs.Morrison.A little blonde girl runs up behind Devon."Who is it Daddy?" Mrs.Morrison releases Devon and bends down to wrap the little girl in her arms."My baby girl." "Mommy?" The little girl squeals and wraps her arms tightly around Mrs.Morrison's neck.Dex has frozen in place,his face pale.Mrs.Morrison looks up at him and smiles.She slowly stands up and drops her arms to her sides."Hello Dex." Dex seems to be at a loss for words."M-Mom?" Mrs.Morrison walks up to him and places a hand on his cheek."My boy." She runs her fingers over his cheek and smiles.Dex has to lean down to hug her,when he does though he looks so small.He looks like a little boy who is really happy to see his mother again.I almost want to not be mad at him anymore.Almost.Dex pulls away a minute later and smiles.Mrs.Morrison pats him on his cheek.The little girl hugs her leg."Where is Maxi? Where is bubby?"Dev walks up to them and pats Dex on the shoulder."Yes.Where is my other boy?" Max steps forward,a wide grin on his face.
