Queen Ursula could not believe what she was told about her son,
"I have to see my son"
"Hedy my little boy what have they done to you?" she cried out as she hurried down to the royal treatment chambers to make sure the messenger wasn't lieing to her, and to be sure Hedy was still breathing.
The Royal doctors had already started attending to the prince when the queen arrived to see her son. He had been cleaned up and his bleeding wounds all well treated and covered up, they had put up a support for his broken neck and arm before the queen arrived.
The queen was given immediate access into the chambers, she went straight to where her son was laying down. Tears could be seen droping from her eyes.
"Son I promise you whoever did this to you will surely pay dearly she said as she touched her son and kissed his forehead.
Turning towards the doctors standing behind. she asked "what is his status?"
"Your Highness, I must tell you that prince Hedy is a bad shape but he will surely be fine. He sustained several injuries as a result of the beatings, his neck and left arm are broken thank goodnesse the knife used in stabbing him didn't reach his vital organs. Right now he is unconscious but will definitely be fine. It will only take a while and he will be back on his feet". These were the words of Macus the head of the Royal doctors.
A little sign of relief could be seen on the queen's face after hearing those words. She sat down beside her son staring at him wishing she never allowed him go out alone that day.
"Make sure my son recovers from this as soon as possible" She said looking up to Macus who was still standing beside them.
" I will your highness, surely I and my team will do our best" he replied.
She decides she was going to stay by his side through out the day to watch him and care for him. She had been invited by Commander Hans earlier to come and see the man they had arrested concerning the prince issues but she had shown no interest on that saying the king would handle him when he returns.
Walter was taken down to the palace prison yard, with his legs still tied up, he was locked up as ordered by commnder Hans. He was separated from the other prisoners because he has not been tried yet and nothing has been ordered to be done to him yet. At that moment Walter was dealing with two things, hunger and worry over his brother. He needed to eat something or feed on blood but how was he going to do that, there he was in the prison with no hope of food or water, there was no way he was going to feed on anyone there not because he can't but because that would mean exposing himself to more danger and death as well as disappointing both his parents and his teacher Master Egon. To him it was time to really use all he has learnt for the past 14years. He had been fighting the urge to feed right from when he was at the Tabor forest fully exposed to fresh human blood. Taking his mind off it was his only solution for him. His mind drifted from hunger back to his brother, He could not help but blame himself for what had happened....
"If only I was there early enough this would not have happened".
"I am sorry I wasn't there early enough to make sure they didn't touch you, I hope you are okay little brother, I hope you are responding to treatments" he said to himself.
But then he remembered Master Egon...
how will he know where he was, he knows his Master would be so worried right now not knowing what has happened and that he was put in prison.

Master Egon on reaching the caves found out Walter was not anywhere within the caves this made him even more worried.
He went to his room to think of the next thing to do. His hunches kept telling him Walter needed help but how was he going to help him when he has no idea where he was.
"I have to go insearch of him" he said to himself
But then where exactly will the search begin from, it was going to be a difficult task but then he has no option than to do something before it was too late.
He decided it was time to talk to his friend Leo. Leo was going was going through some of his old stuffs when Master Egon came in.
"Hey man, I didn't know you were back already" he said
Leo knew Master Egon and Walter were out of the caves, he knew where they had gone to but was not awear of the main reasons Master Egon had to do that. His friend had told him he will tell him everything in due time.
"Leo am fine but worried I need to talk to you" he replied.
" Oh Okay then have a sit"
Master Egon took a sit with a frowned face.
" Egon what seems to be the problem, it's been long I saw you like this, what is going on, I hope your family is okay back home" Leo inquired
Master Egon kept quiet for a while before he looked up to Leo and said, " I think this is the right time to tell you the things I had promised to tell you earlier"
A little confusion could be seen on Leo's face. He wondered what his friend was talking about.
"Okay dear friend am listening, go on, am all ears"
At first Master Egon was skeptical about letting out Walter's secret to Leo for fear of how he will react to it owing to the fact that he never knew of such for a very long time but then he had no other choice than to tell him if he must get any type of advice or help, he must tell Leo everything. He then narrated Walter's story to him telling him everything that had happened, he told him it had been a secret to many that Walter is a human prince, that his parents had brought him there just so he will be safe and to be trained to be able to handle the challenges ahead for being a vampire human heir. He narrated how his parents came looking for him years back and asked him for help, that was how he decided to help them by taking Walter and keeping him in the academy.
Leo was out of words after hearing all this. He just like everyone in the academy had known how Master Egon took and treated Walter. Many thought they were family and so he was shocked on hearing what he just heard. But then he was angry that Master Egon had to hide such vital information from him this long.
"Wait Egon" he said "do you mean to tell me that you have know and decided to keep this kind of information from me for 14 whole years? I thought we were friends and we don't hide anything from each other?"
" I know i should have told you Leo, I have always been afraid of how you would react to it, you know how our relationship with humans have been for centuries so I thought u would never agree for the boy to be helped.
It's no fault of his neither is it his father's, I just took pity on them and decided to help. Please dear friend don't be offended with this, am really sorry" Master Egon pleaded.
Leo having heard his friend speak this way had no choice than to let go of his anger
He too had loved Walter because he was an exceptional, humble and respectful kid, he didn't want to hear that anything bad happened to him and his family so he offered to help find him immediately.
"It's okay Egon" I have forgiven you already, i think the first thing to do right now is to inform his father. That way we will know if the boys went over to the kingdom.
If it happens that they are not there then we will have to look for them outside Tolaria kingdom, then again we will have to find out who it is that wishes to take over their father's throne, am very sure the king has no idea someone is planning seriously against his family".
" I agree with you Leo" master Egon replied
" We should leave first thing tomorrow morning, let's organize ourselves and get prepared this evening, in the morning we leave" Leo added
" No problem Leo am ready anytime for this, those boys need to be found as soon as possible" master Egon said with seriousness in his eyes.
Master Egon and Leo have been and remained friends since they were kids. They come from the Arhrani kingdom. A small yet powerful vampire kingdom. They were brought by their parents to the caves of Mako to be trained. They were among the best upon graduation and so were offered the opportunity to work as tutors and trainers to upcoming ones of which they took.
