Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Days passed by since Aria got to know about Draco's dark mark. To be honest, this year had been completely bizarre. He couldn't have ever imagined such things to happen in his life, but they did. Ever imagined him and aria being friends? Nope, but they are. Ever imagined he could have worked for the darkest witch of all time? nope, but he did. Ever imagined him caring for Aria Rosewood, the girl Draco loathed? Nope, but right now he does. Anyways, Aria now attended classes. She was still on fighting terms with her friend, Marissa, though Oliver kept them tied up together. Draco thought of himself as a very lucky person. It wasn't every day that you meet such a person like Aria. Someone else would have freaked out seeing the dark mark, but instead, Aria helped him a lot. She read books that could help him with his situation, discussed some things, or even pulled out different ideas to make Morana go crazy even if they didn't work. The thing that Draco noticed the most was, Aria mostly supported strategies. Trickery, talks, and strategies were her specialties. Even if they were just joking, Draco found her ideas pretty effective. She didn't dislike wizard duels but she insisted that trickery and strategies are better.

"A person's mind should always be stronger than his hands." were the exact words she said. Anyways, Draco and Aria were currently sitting in the library, reading books about the dark history, only so they knew about the previous dark wizards too. They had at least gone through 100 books but still no luck. The books gave a very evil feeling towards you too. Draco liked the help which he was getting from Aria but was there any need to get a permission slip from the professors for reading 'dark arts' book?

"HeY!!" shouted Aria, making Draco jump. Aria had a huge dusty book propped open in her lap, which she was looking at with irritated eyes.

"What? Was there any need to shout?" he asked, frowning. She looked up at him, an annoyed look in her eyes.

"There ISN'T anything here!! ANYTHING!" she shouted causing the librarian to scream at them, but Aria rolled her eyes.

"What the heck are we going to do without any information?" she continued, her voice a little lower.

"Well...I don't understand why we need information." Draco said dully." Can't we just break-in and attack?"

Aria shot him a nasty glare, "How many times do I have to tell you that we are NO match for her? You can't fight anyone you don't know! You need to know their weakness so that we can use it against Morana." Even on a bright sunny day, her name sounded very dark.

"But as you say," said Draco. "There is nothing, nothing in here about her weakness. And I don't think Morana is going to be such a fool and write her weakness in books. Like, "Hey! Here is my weakness! come and kill me!!" he mimicked a childish voice. Aria rolled her eyes.

She closed her book with a loud bump and turned towards him. Draco always feared times like these, secretly Draco was scared of this girl but she need not know this. She crossed her arms and put on a firm expression.

"I don't think these books are going to be any use." she started. "You need to do something."

"what?" Draco asked, narrowing his eyes, already growing scared.

"When is your next meeting?" she asked.

"I dunno. I haven't got any letter yet," he replied.

"Well...whenever you get it, go to the meeting and please observe her. Try to find her weakness, pinpoint the topics which are touchy for her so that at least some clue will slip. She won't even notice."

"Yeah, and the moment I pin-point on her touchy topic, you will be making arrangements for my funeral," Draco said bitterly. Aria frowned in a worrying way.

"Look," she said, shifting closer to me. "I do care about you. It's not like I don't care but...we need to do someth-

She suddenly stopped. Her eyes looked like they were traveling in time, cause they had zoned out. She knitted her eyebrows, her eyes wide.

"Aria?" Draco asked softly. He placed his hand on her left arm in order to shake her a little, but she jumped into the air before Draco even placed his hand. She paced in front of him, while Draco sat stupidly.

"What happened?" he asked her. She stopped and looked at him, but her expression Draco was pretty sure she was going to punch him but her face immediately broke into a grin and she hugged him tightly. And I mean tightly. It wasn't shocking that she hugged him, but Draco still froze, a blush creeping up to his face. Aria had hugged him on the day she found out that he was Morana's servant, but after that no. Aria swayed both of them back and forth.

"Hey" whispered Draco, trying to push away his blush, but well...it was hard. Finally, after what seemed like years to Draco, she pulled away. She breathed heavily as if she had just run a marathon, with her eyes tinkling.

"Something's in your mind right?" he asked her. She smirked. The smirk she gave when she thinks she got an idea so awesome she needed an award. Draco raised his eyebrows.

"What?" he repeated.

"I have got a superb Idea!!!!" she exclaimed, jumping up and down. Draco smiled at her childishness.

"And what is your superb idea?" he asked, sweetly. Aria's expression dropped. She suddenly stopped dancing and got a worried look. Draco walked closer to her.

"what is it?" he asked.

"Promise me you won't freak out," she said quietly, her eyes suddenly interested in her black shoes. Draco raised his eyebrows.

"depends" he replied shortly. Aria rolled her eyes.

"No. promise me now," she said pulling her hand out for a handshake. Draco shook his head.

"Don't be a child, we are 16 years old. Now hurry, you are worrying me" he told her, firmly. Aria looked close to crying. she took a deep breath and blurted out, "I want to become Morana's servants."
