"Dustan, leave us." Kari commanded.
"Chasing your suitor away, so quickly?" Adelredus taunted. "After the whole fiasco yesterday, I rather think you'd be pointing fingers at 'his highness', asking him to take responsibility."
"And what about you? Are you here to take responsibility for your crimes or are you here to vex me?" Kari hissed, rising up from her seated position.
Kari and Adelredus stared at each other, leaving Dustan to deal with the silence that ensued. The prince slowly stepped back and headed for the door.
"What do you want?" Kari asked, raising her chin. Adelredus rolled his eyes and gestured outside the room.
"Was it not you who called to me, asking to speak?" Adelredus simpered down.
