"This is not a good idea," she started to say, but Ladislas gripped her hand tightly with a wicked smile and pulled her. She saw his form warp in front of her and felt a pang of panic that it was going to happen to her too. But before she could do anything about it, she was sucked into what felt like a whirlpool. She was sure that boiling water was poured over her for a split second before she felt normal again.
Her eyes adjusted to the impossible light and she squinted to look around her. Her jaw dropped and she heard Ladislas chuckle with delight.
"What—"
"Exactly. This is hell," Ladislas knew how the sentence was going to end.
The stories of eternal suffering and flames didn't do the actual scenery justice.
"Well, this is a small segment of hell. They don't send women here because women seem to enjoy abnormal heat when they shower," Ladislas joked. "But it is the part of hell that I thought you would like to see."
