Synopsis
“You tried to kill me before, why can’t you do it now?” she asked, her eyes burning with fury. “I didn’t love you back then.” He shrugged. “What?” Ladislas Forester was a bored immortal looking for a thrill. And then, Anna Dunn crash-landed into his monotonous life. The first time he saw her, she had sneaked into the men’s bathroom and seen more of him than anyone else had. The second time, he saw her sitting at the back of the class during his lecture, dozing off. The third time, he found out that she didn’t even flinch at the sight of a dead body. The supervillain in him was intrigued. Death to those that say Anna Dunn was a boring girl with no future! She was clearly living a secret life! For once, Ladislas was fascinated by someone. He was willing to put her over the greater good. He was selfish and unkind. She was the invisible hero who could only offer him the second position in her life. Her duty came first. He, though… He could burn the world for one last glimpse of her. And so, the supervillain fell in love with the hero. That couldn’t be a good thing, right? Sometimes, the hero is corrupted by the villain and switches their side. Other times, the villain becomes a wife-dotting slave and gives her everything she asks for. Which one do you think will happen?

Chapter 1 - Walking Into the Men’s Washroom

There were eleven women standing in front of Anna. Her bladder was about to burst and going back to the lame-ass dance floor would be worse if she had to hold in her pee for that long. Going behind the club and peeing in public was also not an option, despite how indelicate her behavior was.

Anna looked at the door of the men's bathroom.

No line.

Why did the world even have gender segregation in the bathrooms? What was the harm in men and women using the same toilets?

'What, in fact, would it hurt?' Her mind wandered.

If she just snuck out of this ridiculously long line and entered the empty men's room, peed, and left… Who would know or care?

Counting the heads in front of her, she saw that there were still nine women in line. It would take forever.

Wouldn't it be the ultimate feminist thing to do? Stand up against the gender-segregated bathrooms that severely disadvantaged women. Women had to pee more often and took longer doing it. The bathrooms were probably equal in size, which made it all unfair.

This was how Anna Dunn, opportunistic college student extraordinaire, thought.

It took less than a minute to convince herself that not only was it the natural thing to do, but using the men's bathroom was, in fact, going to be important in the struggle for the opportunity.

Or something.

Mind: made up.

She stepped out of the line and quickly made her way towards the men's bathroom, forcing herself not to look back at the people that must, no doubt, be staring at her for disregarding all the basic values regarding public peeing; the archaic ones that society set forward as the law.

Ages ago, she reminded herself.

This was the feminist revolution, dammit!

One deep breath, a quick what-the-fuck-ever-I-can-do-this, and she pushed the door open to find herself in undiscovered territory. Looks-wise, it was entirely uninteresting.

Tiles, stalls, bright lights, a mirror, and sinks. And the row of urinals. What was so sacred about this?

Whatever.

She quickly locked herself into one of the stalls to do her business.

Sweet relief. This was one of the best ideas she had that day. Certainly better than coming along with Maria, her boyfriend and his gang of friends. She didn't even like the fluorescent lights but she had come along. She definitely didn't like the senior who was brought in order to introduce to her.

She was a horrible person for being so appalled that she didn't even remember what his name was, just that it was accompanied by that weird look in his eyes.

She couldn't just sit there. She had to get out and get through it and then confronting Maria for making her agree to come out. That night would go down as the worst setups of her life.

Her dating life would read like a novel if it were named after bars and blind dates. A history of disaster.

She flushed and opened the stall door with the elbow, stepping out while simultaneously trying to fasten the damn button on her pants.

The sound of shuffling feet made her head turn towards the urinals. She came to the horrifying conclusion that they were no longer unoccupied.

A tall man with long black hair in a bun on his head was using one of them. Although he didn't seem to notice Anna, it was only because she could only see his back. She could take a few steps to the left and sneak out unseen.

Her button was still undone, so she worked on it. She looked down and took a step back.

"Motherfudger!" she exclaimed as her heels roughly hit the metal corner of the stall. She should have paid more attention to where she was going. Why were the stalls made of metal, anyway?

That shit hurt.

The man, no doubt, startled by the sound of a woman in the washroom, instinctively turned around. His expression was surprised, his eyes wide.

Anna took him in completely, both of them realizing that his hand was still holding his… penis.

Thankfully no longer peeing, but still on display.

Sure, her hands were in the general area of her crotch, too, but at least she was semi-clothed.

Anna reminded herself that she was raised properly and was being rude by staring at his dick. She snapped her head up to look at him in the eye where she found a look of uninhibited amusement.

She was completely horrified and embarrassed, though. Despite her feelings, she appreciated that the man looked rather hot in spite of the strange position they were in.

He didn't move. He still hadn't put the party in his pants away, either. What the hell?

She glanced back down.

Still a penis in his hand.

She jerked up to see his eyes again.

"I have never been in this position before, so I don't know how to react," the man said, a smirk on his lips. "I acknowledge your appreciation of my package, though." He tilted his head to the side.

That put some sense into her. "Uh… hi. That's some… juicy looking…" she shook her head to clear it. "I'll just…" She shuffled in the general direction of the exit, eyes still flicking up and down between his face and dick.

Mortification aside, some part of her realized that both his face and his dick were extraordinarily beautiful.

Chiseled jaw and a sculpted cock. Killer pack. Even his eyes were magnetic, though she couldn't make out their color.

The man was stifling back his laughter. Understandable as it was. A snort escaped her mouth and she quickly brought a hand up to cover her lips.

She chanced a quick look down and saw it was still in position.

How the hell had the situation gone from embarrassing to this?

And what a fine specimen of a man. Truth be told, she hadn't seen a lot of cocks in her years, so she couldn't call herself a connoisseur or a dignitary, but surely this one was nice enough to be made casts out of and sold as sex toys.

It was considered rude to stare at strangers, so she bit her lip and looked away. "Well, nice seeing you," she mumbled quickly.

"I bet," she heard him say as she bolted out. Laughter filtered out of the small crack in the door.

She buttoned up her jeans as she took strides away from the man.

"Where were you?" Maria shouted over the music as she took a seat beside her. The people in earshot turned to look my way.

"Bathroom. Long line. You know," she plastered a smile on her face. She quickly looked away.

Her tardiness had an unexpected upside—the dance floor was so crowded that the only spot was next to Maria. This meant she didn't have to sit and stand by her nameless date. She was okay with that and plopped down, thinking about the anonymous man.

What the hell had just happened?

She zoned out as the others jived to the music. Finally, she grabbed Maria's arm, gave it a squeeze, and as she faced her, mouthed a quick sorry. She traversed through the crush of people, trying not to ruin anyone's experience.

Finding the back door of the club, she pushed it open and found herself in the brightly lit lobby, very few people flitting about. Black-haired god was not in sight.

Despite everything on her mind, she shouldn't have come out. She had to determine what to do: go back and converse with all those people or walk home?

Home it was, she thought, looking at the carpet as she speed-walked her way across the lobby. Outside the building, she watched as an expensive car stopped in the front and the man from the bathroom quickly slid in.

She tucked her hand inside her pocket and briskly walked past the scene. No clue left. Another day of her life gone.
