Penelope took the first bite and paused.
"Is it bad?" Anna asked. She had anticipated as much. She had followed all the steps but that didn't mean anything about the personal taste of people.
"No. The taste is pretty exact but… the texture is a bit strange," Penelope admitted.
Ladislas took a bite too and mulled it over in his head.
"So it is bad," Anna concluded.
"No. But Penelope is right in pointing out the texture."
Anna, confused, ate a little and realized what they were talking about. "I failed at cooking a proper meal. That is for sure," she joked.
"It's not bad," Ladislas assured, albeit half-heartedly. He kept eating, just delighted at being fortunate enough to eat food made by Anna. "Thank you for the food."
Anna rolled her eyes. "You are just happy I cooked, aren't you?"
'Jealous little demon,' she thought to herself.
