"They left you unattended," Ladislas said softly. "You can talk now," he whispered. And then he paused. "Oh, it could be bugged." He groaned. "I despise modern technology sometimes."
"Oh! I know this place. This is a club I frequent. It's pretty up-class, too. Why did they bring you here?"
She really wanted to tell him to shut up. This was an important part of the mission. As fun as it was to listen to him ramble and rant to make her feel better, she needed to focus on her surroundings and figure out every step after she got out of this car.
