"Wow. That isn't creepy at all, is it?" Coranth sarcastically told the casually-dressed man. "Well, you see, the Boss is not that much older than you, Coranth. Your files told me that you're fifteen, although you look just a little younger. The Boss is only eighteen, which means that you could have seen him in passing before." The man replied, extending a friendly hand towards Coranth. "My name is Uril." The man introduced himself, Coranth taking his hand. After a quick yet firm handshake, Uril extended his hand to Aaron. Aaron looked down for a second before shaking it like Coranth. "Interesting. Coranth, your familiar just shook my hand without your command. It's a very polite thing to do." Uril noted, letting go of Aaron's hand. His hand fell to his side, not moving. This was when Aaron remembered something. How in the hell was his sword on his waist while he was in the elevator? After all, it was long enough to get caught in the door of the building, so a small space like this should surely be unable to hold Tsuyukagiri.
As Aaron went to look at the sword, he forcefully made himself face the other way. 'No. If I look at what's happened to the elevator, it's going to become real. Just pretend nothing's happening, and I'll be fiiiiiine.' Aaron said to himself in his head, drawing out the last word. He just wasn't bothered to hold his sword in a different position. This was due to its length. If there was damage, he just wasn't going to acknowledge it. In the words of anti-vaxxers, if he doesn't believe in it, it isn't real.
The elevator stopped, a pinging noise alerting them that they had made their way to the top. Uril walked out first, Coranth following behind him, leaving Aaron at the back of the group. He didn't turn around to look at the destruction that he may have caused by having his sheathed sword somehow fit inside of the elevator, so he didn't question it. You do not ask questions about something if you don't want the answer. However, something did grab Aaron's attention. There was just a regular office in here. Aaron had expected a medieval hallway leading to the throne that the Boss would sit on, but that wasn't the case. The child sitting in the seat looked at a computer intensely, his right hand moving a mouse around as he tapped some buttons on a keyboard with his arms tensed up. "Mitch, we've brought someone to you," Uril told the child, clearing his throat with a cough. "Alright, just give me a second. Some files have been switched around on this computer, and I just need to re-arrange them so that they're back where I'm used to." The teenager named Mitch responded.
After about thirty more seconds of waiting, Mitch turned around to see them. Mitch was wearing a red, short-sleeved t-shirt with "Run Wild" imprinted on the front in large letters. He had a few rings on his fingers, some of them having designs of animals and wings on them, such as one ring being designed after a snake. "So, Uril, what have they done that needs to be brought to me?" Mitch asked, standing up, revealing his full height of 5'8. He was wearing a black, baggy tracksuit, cuffed at the bottom of each leg. "Well, this kid summoned a skeleton which got an S-rank, determined by me, on the close-ranged physical test," Uril explained, much to the disinterested look of Mitch. "So? A lot of them get a grade that high." Mitch responded, looking at Aaron with a confused expression. "Well, here's the thing. It was able to pierce through the Damascus dummy, and it can also use magic strong enough to destroy it." Uril continued, causing Mitch to look at Coranth with a smug expression. "So, this kid summoned a thing that can destroy Damascus AND use magic that's capable of obliterating it? I must say, I am very impressed with you, ritual summoner." Mitch told Coranth, a seal appearing on his left hand. "Do you know what THIS is?" Mitch asked Coranth. Coranth just started shaking his head from side to side, indicating that he didn't know.
"This is a ritual-summoning mark. It allows me to bring my familiars out at will, meaning that they don't take up any space." Mitch informed him, tapping the seal with his right index finger. A small fox jumped out of it, its tail aflame. "This is Inari, my Inari Fox familiar," Mitch explained, the Inari fox following his finger as he moved it around. "It can create fire from its tail, and there is not a noticeable end to the flames." Mitch continued, the Inari Fox pointing its tail at Aaron, a small flame pointing at him. Aaron unsheathed Tsuyukagiri, his sword pointing at the small animal. Aaron tapped the blade against the familiar's head, shocking the little creature. In response, the Inari set Tsuyukagiri ablaze, trying to scare Aaron away. Aaron swapped hands, holding Tsuyukagiri with his left hand, swung it, extinguishing the flames with almost no effort. "Impressive. The skeleton can keep calm in the face of danger. I like that." Mitch commented, tapping his wrist again, the Inari Fox jumping into his wrist, almost as if it was changing its size to do so.
"Heh. I like this skeleton. It's unique, in a way. I need to see him in action, though." Mitch said to himself, looking at Coranth. "Here. I want you to battle me. I need to see how he performs in battle." Mitch told Coranth, initiating a battle. Coranth looked over at Aaron, who had Tsuyukagiri unsheathed. Aaron, Tsuyukagiri in his left hand, pointed his finger at Mitch. Aaron bent his bony finger up and down in a taunting manner, a smile breaking out on Mitch's face. "Now THAT'S what I like to see!" Mitch yelled, tapping his left hand again, bringing out his Inari Fox. "I just wanted to bring it out again. Come on, Inari!" He yelled, the battle finally starting.
