Tsuyukagiri gleamed in the light, a smile breaking out on Coranth's face, large enough to match Mitch's. The pair of them were ready to see what Aaron was capable of, and Aaron was prepared to deliver. He swapped Tsuyukagiri between his hands, leaving his left hand free as his right hand took hold of the blade. Aaron got into a fighting stance, Tsuyukagiri's tip nearly touching the wall. "Let's increase the arena size, shall we?" Mitch suggested, the floor around them turning into a dark blue hexagon. Smaller hexagons lined the inside.
"This is the arena that we will have our familiars fight in, Coranth. It augments reality, in a way. We can make the stage as infinitely large or small as we please." Mitch explained, the area around them disappearing as an arena was built inside the hexagon. It was altering reality so that a fight could commence. "If you and your familiar win against me, I'll give you one of these devices. They were created for me to use indoors, but I can have one made to your liking, should you defeat me in this battle." Mitch wagered before pointing at Aaron. "However, if you lose, you'll hand your familiar over to me. I need him for a certain project of mine." Mitch explained, causing Aaron to straighten himself from his fighting stance. "Aaron? What are you doing?" Coranth asked him in confusion, watching Aaron in shock as he calmly walked over to the Inari Fox, its tail aflame. Aaron crouched down, leaving his sword to the side, causing the Inari to spew fire from its rear limb at Aaron. The flames coated his body, but Aaron seemed unfazed by the heat, and this was because he was a skeleton.
Aaron's hand stretched out to the small fox, petting it on the head. 'Such a cute little animal.' Aaron said to himself before sighing inside his head. 'It's just too bad,' Aaron continued, crushing the Inari Fox's skull before it could react. 'That I have to resort to these measures.' Aaron finished, looking at Mitch's shocked expression. "Wow. I never expected that a skeleton would be able to crush the skull of my Inari, but that's what happens when I mess with a monster that can destroy Damascus metal with a sword." Mitch stated, tapping the mark on the back of his hand. The Inari Fox flew back into his hand, presumably to heal, as he brought out his next familiar. It was a reptilian monster with strange spikes protruding from his back. It was almost like a cross between a porcupine and an oversized alligator. "Aaron, meet Scala, one of my stronger familiars," Mitch explained, not saying anything more as Scala rushed towards Aaron. Aaron just let a gush of air flow from his jaw, picking up his sword. Scala jumped into the air, flipping upside down so the spikes could impale Aaron. Aaron walked backwards for three metres and just watched as Scala landed in the ground, keeping them stuck. Aaron lifted his arm, angling Tsuyukagiri so that it'd stab Scala through the stomach.
However, as he pushed the blade down, spikes appeared on Scala's stomach, going straight up in an attempt to deflect an incoming attack. However, Tsuyukagiri cleaved the spines as if they were made of air, stabbing Scala directly through the stomach. "Well played, skeleton. I never thought that, even with your ability to destroy Damascus metal, you'd be capable of destroying Scala's defences. Impressive work." Mitch told Aaron, his smile turning into a scowl. "I've never had two of my familiars defeated by a skeleton before, so it's safe to say that I don't find this amusing," Mitch said to Coranth while tapping his wrist four times. Two times to bring in the injured Scala, and another two to send out his next familiar.
This familiar was stranger than Scala as it was almost like a mix between a lion and a katana. It was pretty much a lion with a sword in its mouth and a blade for a tail. They really got creative with that one. Aaron lifted his sword in aggression, the lion responding with equal tension. "Leo! Attack him! Rending Strikes!" Mitch yelled, pointing at Aaron. Leo jumped into the air, the sword in their mouth shining a blazing crimson. With the speed of a thousand samurai, Leo crashed into Aaron, a thousand strikes slashing his bones. A storm of dust was created from the attack, and Mitch waited for it to settle before making his judgement.
A pile of dust lay in place of Aaron. It was like he had been cut into a thousand pieces as the dust settled. Coranth looked at it with a distraught expression as Mitch cheered for himself. "Let's go! We defeated him, Leo!" Mitch cheered, Leo not moving from its standing state. It appeared to have been frozen in place. A black shadow appeared behind Leo, and an over six-foot-tall inhuman creature with clawed hands stood there, ready to strike.
With a single attack, Leo was cut into hundreds of pieces. At least, it seemed like that to Mitch. A black explosion occurred after the attacks, obscuring their view with mist. Aaron walked out of the dark fog, holding Leo's head in his right hand. He put it up beside his own face, almost as if he was mocking it before throwing it back over to Mitch, a superficial cocky stance following it. "Alright, that's it. I'm done messing around, asshole. I'm bringing out my last resort and my final familiar." Mitch cursed at Aaron, tapping his hand twice. Leo's body flew towards his left hand, sucked into the familiar-summoning mark.
"I never thought that it'd come to this, but here was are. Alright! Come on out, Raiken, The God of Thunderous Rage!" Mitched yelled, tapping his hand three times to summon the beast. Electricity flowed from his hand, shocking Mitch and Coranth, using both of their energy to summon the familiar. An electric current ran around the arena, and a menacing aura filled the air, causing Aaron to tense up, even though he technically couldn't.
