Chapter 240 - Unsuccessful Talks

"Well, are you going to answer us?" The Elves, known as Oliseras, yelled at them, the female's voice being the loudest out of the trio. Aaron sighed, lifting up his hands as a sign of peace. He wasn't planning on injuring them unless they attacked him first. "We're here in peace. The King of the human KIngdom is here to accompany us. Three of us are Inhumans like you, while the King and a friend of mine are not!" Aaron announced, trying to keep this as formal as he could. "Why would we need to know any of that information? You're trespassing on our property!" The female elf yelled, drawing her sword back as the two males slung their longbows over their backs, pulling daggers out from pouches on their waists.

"Listen. We're just trying to talk to you peacefully. We don't want any violence." Aaron explained, his hands still in the air. The pommel of his sword gleamed in the moonlight. The sun had set during the fight against the Ice Wardens. The moonlight was their guide, at least for Erald, Crystet and Jude. However, Aaron and Sciat had an unfair advantage in that their eyes could still see well in the moonlight, although Sciat couldn't see in complete darkness. This rule didn't apply to the Oliseras, however. Their eyes had an unusual amount of rhodopsin, the pigment in your eyes which helps you see in the dark, which let them see much better in the night than most other races. They were able to see Aaron and the others relatively clearly.

"If you've just come here to talk, what's the deal with that incredibly oversized sword, huh?" The first male elf, otherwise known as an Olisera, asked Aaron, prompting Aaron to unsheath the sword, showcasing its length. "This is the melee weapon I use to protect myself. You know, just in case some dangerous situations appear before me. It's not something to be fought against lightly." Aaron explained, the sword glowing its ominous purple colour. "Explain to me what that aura is. If you don't, we'll immediately assume you're trying to attack us, and that's cause for war." The Oliseras warned him, all three of them speaking at once. Almost like they were a hive mind.

"This is my sword skill for this weapon. I wouldn't really advise trying to attack this blade when it's glowing like this, but if you want to lose your life, sure. However, I will say that this sword only glows when its skill is active, so you may want to listen before stuff happens." Aaron warned them, the sword lifting into the air. Aaron put his hands behind his back as he smiled menacingly, the blade rotating around as if it was being held by a master swordsman. This would have been scary enough on its own, but Aaron decided to do something even more insane. He used Boundless Telekinesis to make an illusory clone of the blade. This blade would not deal damage on contact with skin. However, it will scare the living hell out of anybody who thinks it's real.

"What the fuck are you doing, Aaron?" Sciat asked him in curiosity. "Well, I just want to see if my illusory weapons would actually look convincing in the dark," Aaron responded before noting the expressions on the faces of the elves. There was nothing but pure fear in those faces, and he couldn't help but feel something strange in his chest. It wasn't him, but it wasn't Soul, either.

"G̶̡̙̲̳̥̭̏͊̄̓̉̂ù̶̮͕̲̯̚͜e̴͍̜̬͑͐͌͑̚s̴̨̠͈̘̦̹̈́̔s̶̬̺͈̘͚͆͐̂͋͋ ̵̧̙̰͔̘̣̐̑͗́́i̷̡̪̬̹͒̀̋͘ẗ̸͚́͆'̸̨̫͙̝̘̂s̸͎̋̚ ̴̙̹͊͐́͝t̵̗̪̠̰̜͕̓͋̾̇͑͠í̶̪̦͊m̴̜̺̳̆̈́̎̅́e̵̥̫̅́̉ ̸̜̬̞͈̭̻̊f̷̣̋̋͒͠ó̴̥̇͜r̵̢̖͉̪̿̓ ̶̻̫̖̮̲̹̈͘m̴̞̄̍͌͛͝ė̴̯̏̐̍͘ ̷̩̲́t̴̪̪͍̒̂̉o̶͇͎͖̟̲̅ ̷̨͖̘̠̗͖̌͐̂̑̈́s̴͍̱͝͝h̶̦͕̰̠̙̓̓̈́̓̋i̵̞̠̎̓n̴͍͔̖͎̗̲̓̑ë̵̳͚́̈́͑̾̃ ̷̢͚̬́͑͝͠ä̴̢g̶̮̺͖̲̞̏̍́͗̃̒ä̵̡͋͋͆̚ĩ̴̙͇̤͊n̸̮̥̙̙͓̿̅̀́̍͠,̶̧͉͈̌́͝ ̴̳̓̇̓̂i̴̧̧̙̎s̸̱̆̿͆͝ǹ̷̮̣̲̠̊̉̈́̄̆'̷̼̟̫̯̖̓̚t̵̟̀̈́̋̿̄͝ ̴̣̳̖͛͒̆͂̓͠ȉ̵̗̗͔̐̀̅͠t̶̨̤̿̇̀͘͠?̵̹̲̌̃͊́̊̕" A deep voice boomed from Aaron's chest, as Aaron remembered that there weren't just two people in his body. There was a third. One that he had forgotten about. The Monstrosity Form from when he had been taken over by Soul, and something broke Soul. Aaron wasn't entirely sure what had happened back then, but if it wanted to help him, he was free to do so. "Alright then, you can come out. However, since you've designated yourself as someone different to Soul, I'll just repeat this for you. No killing or intentionally harming, and, for the love of the gods, don't increase your size." Aaron reminded the Monstrosity, who was actually calm with it.

"Alright, guys. I'll be using a different form to showcase what I can do. Crystet may have seen this before, but it'll be new to the rest of you." Aaron informed them before grasping at his chest. Something emerged from his chest, appearing to be black bones, although they didn't have any pink cracks. They weren't like the ones they had during the fight against Sciat and None.

Aaron's skin disappeared along with his suit as the black bones replaced his normal skeleton. The only thing from Aaron's original body that remained was his sword, the illusory one having disappeared. Tsuyukagiri lay on the ground. The black-boned skeleton stood in front of the blade with a devious smile on its face. The bones on its face moved to make a smile. Completely unnatural, but that's what added to the creepiness of the situation.

The skeleton that had replaced Aaron looked at the elves, the deviously broken smile on its face widening. A black aura emitted from both it and Tsuyukagiri, as everyone in there saw their own death. It was testing out what it wanted. The elves watched as their bodies were cut into thousands of pieces, moving at the speed of light as Crystet watched the Monstrosity stab him in the skull, wrenching his neck one-hundred and eight degrees.

Erald watched as the skeleton stabbed him in the stomach, causing him to bleed out on the ground. Sciat watched as the Monstrosity's hand became covered in black corruption as he slowly walked over to him, his fingers tipped with spikes. The monster controlling Aaron's body grabbed his skull, opening it up as if it was a tin of food.

Jude's reaction, however, was the worst. The Monstrosity summoned a copy of Soul and Aaron, each of them wielding their own weapon of choice. Aaron and the Monstrosity held Tsuyukagiri, while Soul used his pointed fingers. They all rushed at Aaron, their respective auras surrounding them. Black for the Monstrosity, pink for Soul, and purple for Aaron. Their weapons sliced through his body as if it was made of butter, leaving him conscious for the entire thing. Despite his body being destroyed thousands of times over, he felt everything. In the illusion, each of them screamed as the illusion went on.

The Monstrosity snapped his fingers, despite not having skin, the black aura disappearing. The illusion ended as each of them stood with a strange fear in their hearts. This was probably the scariest form of Aaron, as even though Soul was sadistic, the Monstrosity was something further down the lane. He was only interested in his own enjoyment. However, how he got that would depend on how he was feeling.

He was feeling rather sadistic that day.
