"You...what are you?" Crystet asked the Monstrosity, who turned to face him, his creepy, broken smile still on his face. "I have no name. Not yet. A name gives something an identity, so just call me Monstrosity. I am Aaron. Aaron is I." The Monstrosity explained, his hands splayed out wide, causing him to drop Tsuyukagiri. "You were intriguing test subjects, I will admit. I got to see everything that you experienced in that illusion." The Monstrosity admitted, his smile disappearing. "Now, I have some business to attend to. Please, excuse me for a second." It finished before walking over to the Oliseras. Its blank expression left a fearful expression on the faces of the elf-lookalikes. They began to back away, put the Monstrosity appeared behind them, the air around it rippling.
"I'm sorry to be so blunt about this, but I am curious to see what this world's fighters have to offer, so I wish to see this tournament upheld. If you don't mind my intrusion, I'll deliver a speech to your people." The Monstrosity explained, his eyes lighting up with a violent pink colour. "After all, I have my own specialities."
The Monstrosity let out a maniacal laugh, appearing beside Crystet, facing the Oliseras. He raised his hands into the air as more bones sprouted from his back, appearing to be similar to spider legs. They ended in points, and they were of the same colour palette as the rest of his skin. "I want to participate in the tournament myself, so I have to practice my skills while I get the chance to stay out here. I won't harm any of you, but I will attack you." He warned the Oliseras, causing them to back up even further.
He got into a sprinting position, preparing to run towards the Oliseras with his spider-like bones. The second the Monstrosity's legs entended, Crystet and Sciat grabbed him by the shoulders and pushed him to the ground. "Sorry, but I'm not letting you do that. Your name really suits your appearance and personality." Crystet told the Monstrosity. "I would find it fun to see you attack them, but that goes against Aaron's motives, and I really want to see how far he can get with those," Sciat informed him, bringing his own views into his decision. "After all, you never know what Aaron'll do," Sciat commented.
"Fine. You can talk to Aaron directly. I'm going to go test my own abilities inside Aaron's head." The Monstrosity groaned as his bones slowly changed to a white colour, the extra bones from his back disappearing. Aaron's suit quickly appeared, his skin forming inside of the clothing. Aaron finished creating his body, causing Crystet and Sciat to release him. "Thanks for holding him down. It was his first time out of the body since the...city incident, I'll call it, and he was overly excited." Aaron explained as he fell limp. "Now, I'm sorry to leave you again, but I'm going to have to fight against the Monstrosity inside my head. He has the advantage, so you'll need to do negotiating or whatever you feel is necessary." Aaron apologised before shutting his eyes, retreating into the furthest point of his mind. Crystet held his limp body, a smile on his face.
"Sorry for all of that, Oliseras! That's not normal by any means, but now we can actually have some civil talks, hopefully." Sciat explained as Jude walked forward, a small cube of energy floating around in his hand. "If we can't have said civil talks, I may have to find a way to creatively use my human power." Jude continued, flicking the cube into the air, creating an ear-piercing, sound barrier-destroying beam of energy.
In his head, Aaron rushed towards a blank arena. All that could be seen for an infinite distance was a dark sky, but he could see himself clearly. Something was keeping him visible, but that was what Aaron imagined his mind arena to be, so Aaron wasn't too worried. However, when a punch hit him from the side of the face, he knew that he was in for a losing battle. Aaron looked in the direction of the attack, only to see a pair of violently pink floating pupils. The Monstrosity's skeletal figure blended in perfectly with the dark background. Aaron tried to light up the arena, but his mind wasn't responding. "You really think I'd let you take my advantage away, Aaron?" The Monstrosity taunted Aaron, his eyes floating around the arena at high speed. "I want to explore this world. Find enjoyment in what I can and get rid of the stuff I do not find entertaining. Is that too much to ask?" The Monstrosity asked Aaron, delivering another punch to Aaron's face.
"Yes, it is! You'll be sacrificing the lives of innocents!" Aaron yelled at him in response as he reflected the attack, quickly shoving two fingers of each hand at the floating irises before arcing his fingers downwards. He grabbed the inner part of the Monstrosity's skull, dragging the skeleton down to his knee. Aaron put all his force behind this attack, meaning that, just for a minute, Aaron needed to sacrifice his safety to increase the strength of his attack, using his full power, and slammed his knee through the Monstrosity's head and shattering it into multiple pieces. Aaron knew that he wouldn't be able to kill the monster that fused with his Soul, but he had to try and stop it from causing any more damage.
"Now, don't you think what you just said was hypocritical, Aaron?" A voice yelled out from behind him, shoving a hand through his chest. A pink-outlined, spiked hand. "I'm always called hypocritical, yet hearing stuff like this makes me want to stab you." Soul smiled. However, his smile faded away once he realised that his hand was now covered in human blood. This wasn't supposed to happen. It was just meant to be a quick attack, not designed to cause any damage. He had considered how durable Aaron was and adjusted the attack accordingly.
"Aaron?" He asked him, scared of what the consequences might be. He looked at Aaron's body, still standing, even if just for a second longer. Aaron's body fell to the floor, lifeless. "Aaron!" He yelled, rushing over to Aaron's side, trying to understand what happened. The Monstrosity just looked at Soul in shock, realising what happened. "Come on, Monstrosity! Help me out over here! I don't know what happened!" He yelled as the Monstrosity ran over to him. "It looks like you stabbed him, Soul." He commented as Soul stared at him with an 'I know that you fucking idiot' face. "We need to see if there's any way to heal him. After all, without him, we cease to exist. We didn't kill his outer form...we killed his inner being! After all, this was him expending all his power to hit YOU, and then when I hit him, he hadn't gone back to his normal state! He sacrificed his safety just to hit you in the head." Soul realised as a small crack appeared in his skin. It was a pink crack, but something was off.
Cracks started to appear all over his body as he realised what was going on. He was feeling an emotion that he hadn't felt before, and that emotion was remorse. He was remorseful for his actions, as both the Monstrosity and himself looked at the dead body of Aaron.
