The Ice Wardens sprinted forward first, making the first move. However, once they moved, Tusyukagiri's effect activated. Aaron watched as the slash he had inflicted on the Ice Wardens multiplied, looking as if he had slashed at them from a distance. Thousands of ethereal strikes lit up the air, faintly visible to Aaron's group. "What the...?" Erald asked himself, trying to figure out what was going on, as Aaron began to smile. He knew what had happened and why these attacks could hit the Ice Wardens. He just needed to wait for the notification to come in, as he was sure it was a new ability.

"So, that's what that was, huh?" Aaron said to himself. [Aaron, explain to me what the hell you just did.] Memica piped up, surprising Aaron. He didn't Memica to talk for quite a while, but he was pleasantly surprised. He began to mentally speak to Memica while watching the bodies of the Ice Wardens turn to a dust-like substance, nothing like the snow that they had been made of.
'Well, Memica, I apparently unlocked a new type of ability. If you were to read the autonomous system notifications, as I call them, you'd notice what it's called.' Aaron pointed out. This caused Memica to remember that, yes, she can read. [Oh, so THAT'S what came in!] She responded, acting as if she had noticed it beforehand. 'If you had seen it come in and had been aware of its existence, you wouldn't have asked me what just happened, would you?' Aaron pointed out, causing Memica to shut up almost instantly, knowing she had been caught. 'See? I may not have had you around for too long, but I've learned some stuff about you. You can try to cover up all you want. I'll always figure something out in the end.' Aaron joked before sheathing Tsuyukagiri.
"So, that's what I can do now, eh? I can create a slash in the air that can hit something thousands of times? That's honestly epic. I love it, and it works so well with Tsuyukagiri since the blade is so long." Aaron said to himself, noting that the blade of Tsuyukagiri was six-seven feet of the eight-foot-long sword. "Excuse me, you can do what? I'm not sure if I heard you right, but you just said thousands?" Crystet asked while putting his left hand on Aaron's right shoulder. He was trying to clear up what he thought he had heard with Aaron. "Huh? Oh, yeah, I did just say that. I honestly can't believe it myself." Aaron responded as another person put his hand on Aaron's other shoulder.
"Aaron, you forgot about me for a bit, didn't you?" Jude asked as a shiver went down Aaron's spine. He had forgotten that Jude was travelling with them as he looked at Jude with guilty eyes. "I'm not mad. Don't worry. Just surprised, is all. I know you all went off ahead, but I didn't realise you were THAT much faster than I was. Hell, I got lost while trying to find you guys, so forgive me for being late." Jude responded, causing Aaron to calm down. "Well, that was something I didn't expect. Crystet, Sciat, Erald, this is a lesson on how to get past my defences. Make me entirely forget about you for some time, then wait for me to get distracted by something impressive, and that's your time to scare me or kill me, you see? It's the most effective way to sneak up on me that you'll ever find." Aaron told them, turning it into an explanation on how to theoretically kill him if you had the correct method.
"Crystet might be able to relate to this more than you guys, but say if we take a snail or some tiny and harmless slow-moving monster, you'd forget about it, wouldn't you? Then, when you least expect it, it's there. Either near your arm or right beside you, minding its own business. That's what I'm comparing you with, so don't get offended. It's just to showcase that we all forget things, and that's your best time to strike at me." Aaron finished before lifting up his hand, grabbing Erald by the face. Erald was testing out what Aaron had said, creating a silent spike of wind that covered his hand. "I haven't forgotten about you, Erald. After all, I mentioned your name at the beginning of this lesson." Aaron told him, letting him go.
"Damn. I thought I could test it out." Erald responded, catching his breath as he landed on the ground, his hands on his legs. He wasn't by any means unfit. It was just that Aaron had grabbed his skull way too tight. "Aaron, you need to watch out for your grip strength. I'm not even joking. That grab almost broke my skull." Erald told Aaron while straightening his back, his hands on his skull. "Oh, sorry about that, Erald. I instinctively grabbed you while feeling the air behind me move away for you. Were you using some air-manipulative skill to try and catch me off guard?" Aaron asked, shocking Erald. Aaron sensed him?
"But...how? I was sure that you wouldn't notice the air moving out of the way, but it appears that you did. Please, inform me of what ability you used to find out." Erald asked of Aaron, causing him to chuckle. "It's not an ability that can be taught. It's an ability that comes from..." Aaron led on, pointing towards his chest. "Here. Not my heart, but my soul. Or wherever my soul is in this body. After all, everybody here has one, including you, erald, although it appears that your soul IS your heart." Aaron explained, his eyes turning black for a second, a pink light shining through the darkness.
"And this, my friends, is my soul. He wants to say hi, so how about you say hello to him?" Aaron told them, as his soul's Corruption began to cover his body, and it all started from his eyes.
