Chapter 195 - Slides

Aaron looked around the bland room. It was just a place that he could expand to his desires. After all, Aaron controlled this place. He could do whatever he wanted with it. It could become the perfect living paradise. However, that isn't what Aaron wanted to do. He needed it to look somewhat professional. A large circular table appeared at the centre, and chairs were created to accompany it, twelve of them taking their places around the table, no chair better than another. It was for equality.

Behind each chair appeared a floating glass cylinder, and in each of them, Aaron filled the light of a Soul. He can create Boundless-enhancing Souls, so why not Souls that JUST create colour? It wasn't too big of an issue using Boundless Interdimensional Summoning. His skills made everything easy, so why did he keep going?

It was fun. That was Aaron's only reason.

The coloured Souls filled up the glass prisms, and the room was lit up by the colour of the souls, almost like magical nightlights. It was amazing. "So, this is what happens when you light up a room with Souls? It's much more beautiful than I thought it would be." Aaron complimented the room, admiring the lights from the Souls. "It's almost hypnotic how the colours shine," Aaron commented before turning around to go up the slide. "Going UP it. Madness, but I love it." Aaron said to himself, standing on the magically-made gravity-bending thing, which started going upwards. You couldn't really call it a slide anymore.

Seph, None, Free and Crystet just looked in shock at the hatch, which was just in the sitting room, nonchalantly. It wasn't harming anyone, but it was just THERE. "Aaron, what the fuck are you doing?" Crystet calmly yelled down there, making sure that Aaron could hear him. "I'm going up the slide!" Aaron responded in the distance, and everyone listening was just confused. "Up? You can't go up while using a slide! What do you mean by that?" Seph yelled down as Aaron appeared at the entrance of the hatch, having gone up the slide. "I told you, I was going up the slide," Aaron explained, smiling. He put a controller up on the top part of the slide as well. It was so that he could set it to go downwards when he wanted.

"You make absolutely no sense. I should honestly expect it by now, but I didn't think you'd be inclined to make a slide that goes upwards." Crystet sighed as Free looked at the slide in amazement. Without saying a single word, she rushed past Aaron, pushed the button to make the sliding object go down, and slid down, excitedly screaming on the way down. It's what children did.

"Look at her go." Aaron chuckled to himself. He wasn't serious about anything right now. A calm environment where nobody wanted to fight. It was fun. Aaron smiled, pointing towards the entrance of the hatch, with two ways down. "Pick your path, guys. I know which one I'm taking." Aaron told them as he stood out of the way.

Crystet looked down the stairs and saw the slide beside it. He sighed, sitting down. "I can't believe that I'm going to go down this thing." He muttered to himself, and five seconds after going down, he was back up at the top, the direction set to up. "Free heard me coming and then made the slide go upwards. I swear, I'm never going to get used to this going in reverse." Crystet sighed as Aaron teleported down to the bottom of the slide, where he saw Free standing there, finger on the button to change the direction. "So, you liking this place so far?" Aaron asked her, shocking Free. She jumped back, moving away from the button. "You scared me!" She yelled, as Aaron just chuckled at her response. "Yes, I do like this place, but please don't scare me like that again. I may be this girl's alternate personality, but as you know, I also handle emotions much differently than she does." Free explained, looking towards Aaron with her crimson eyes trying to look deep into his soul.

"If you'd stop focusing on me and look around, you might see this nice little meeting room that I have prepared." Aaron pointed out, directing Free's attention to the meeting room and None, Seph, and Crystet made their way down the slide. It was just a coincidence that they were coming down now. Free looked into the meeting room and was immediately mesmerised by the lights that the souls gave off. She walked over to one of them and looked into the jar, unable to see the soul within due to the shine it was giving off. "Aaron, what's in these jars? They give off incredible light."

"They are artificial souls that I created for the sole purpose of producing light, and they do it spectacularly, although I do have plans in mind for what they could do besides make a set-piece. However, we can cross that bridge when it comes to it." Aaron mentioned as he walked over to the far side of the room. He created a door that was labelled 'Artifacts'. Aaron opened it up, remembering that he hadn't actually made the room yet, so Aaron just removed all the space that he wanted by using Boundless Telekinesis to delete the ground that was in the way. This was four metres in height, twenty metres in length, and ten metres wide. He walked to the end of the room, creating containers similar to the canisters in the meeting room. This time, he only made three.

Inside one, he put a replica of his soul, labelling it "Aaron's Soul".

In the second one, he put a small golden chip titled 'Token of Ultimate Skill'. This little token did what it said. It could give an Ultimate Skill.

The final tube contained the most interesting item. "The Corrupted Soul of a Draconic God".
