Aaron made the three items float inside their canisters as if they could lift themselves off the ground by themselves. It was just something cool to look at, and it had no significant purpose except to look impressive. However, Aaron had made something he had never seen before. A Token of Ultimate Skill. He had never used one of those before, so what was it?
Well, it was an idea by Aaron. It gave someone a skill, and it was at its maximum level for whatever species they were. It was something he could use as bargaining material. It could give a human a "lv. MAX" skill that could intl be used for farming if they were unlucky. After all, he didn't control what was given. However, it only gave Ultimate Skills, not Boundless Skills, because he couldn't give himself Boundless Abilities. After all, to his knowledge, only the System and AuthRecSys could give out skills, and Auth has only been seen giving skills to Crystet.
"I wonder what people would think of they had access to these things." Aaron pondered as swords began to line the walls. He needed to make it look impressive, after all. Aaron's original Baned Buster was beside his Soul, while a whip lined with thorns was beside the Corrupted Draconic God Soul. It was just named 'Whip of Thorns', and people bleed once hit by it. It is a whip made of thorns, so what would you expect?
One final weapon was created, which he displayed just above the Token of Ultimate Skill was a large golden sword with a Konohana Blossom on the side, hanging on by what appeared to be a golden twig. The blade was labelled 'Nagi', and Aaron wondered if Seph could wield it. It wasn't made of actual gold but of crystallised mana, hardened by its smooth crystallisation. The light came from a golden Soul which lay in the handle. This gave it its colour, along with amplifying the strength of the blade. Without the Soul, it would be a bright cyan along with being slightly transparent.
"You know, you'd have to wonder why I was the one chosen to have these abilities. I've been told it was my Soul, but that feels just like a lazy response. My Soul only became special after I was inflicted with Boundlessness. After that everything, has become so easy. I'm not complaining, but I just want to know why. Why was it me out of the possibly infinite beings in this universe?" Aaron asked nobody, just questioning himself.
[Aaron, you know what we've told you. It's as simple as I can put it. Apparently, your Soul was powerful enough to house the Boundless System, and even then, it was in a weakened state. Your own Soul evolved the System to be as powerful as possible, and your Soul made it so that it was like this. You're possibly the only person with a system like this, and it's something to be proud of.] Memica explained, and Aaron just sighed.
"I know, Memica, but it feels so insubstantial. There has to be some bigger reason, right? After all, it's not like N or L were just looking for someone to test out the Boundless System on, right?" Aaron asked himself. [Honestly, after interacting with them, it seems like something they would do.] Memica pointed out. "Yeah, why would I ask that?" Aaron remembered. "Those two were bickering like children while they were in my mind, so I shouldn't try and ask questions about them when I know that it'd be something that they'd do."
[So, do you plan on telling me why you suddenly questioned everything?] Memica asked him, causing Aaron to sigh. "I can't help but feel like something is going to happen. It's like an overwhelming sense of dread. On the first planet, Light and Yua, the Dragon and Demi-human were killed. I was angry back then, but I guess that fueled my path here. Still, there's more. I enjoyed my life before meeting that human I killed, Jacob, on the future version of Eratonia, which I still don't understand how it worked there. After that, my Soul was awakened, and he controlled me to kill eight billion people. That'll haunt me for my life. Eight billion. It is such a shocking number. After that, when I had suppressed my Soul, Crystet was going through the same thing. That was because he was copying my actions. He rose up as I was on my journey, and an innocent man died in a kamikaze attack. Everything happened as I was enjoying my journey, and that'll be the fourth time that I'll be attacked while I live my life if we don't count those ghost zombie children that started me off on this journey. I was designated to die by the gods." Aaron explained, putting his head in his hands.
"I'm enjoying my journey right now, and every time I begin to have some fun in my quests, someone has to die. Crystet died, Barold kamikazed himself, and Light alongside Yua were both slaughtered by the church of their world. Eratonia. Where monsters lived in dungeons that became unknown to the future form of the planet, where Crystet called home. I know I'm getting too deep into the whole situation, but I can't help but worry. After all, what if someone I can't fight gets in the way? Even without Soul's help, what if I fail to win? What if they act like the white-haired man, or even worse, Soul. They'd kill me on the spot, which I wouldn't be too pleased with, but they'd kill Crystet, Seph, Clair, and technically Free. After all, None would return to me once I died. Still, needless death is not what I want, and I want to make sure that Clair and Free can live their lives fully. Any time I've been to a planet, I've died days later. I don't want the same to happen to them."
[Aaron...I didn't realise that stuff like this was still on your mind. I can only read what you send to me and your memories. Not what's currently on your mind. Listen, if you need any help, just let me know. I'd be happy to give it to you.]
