Crystet stared at Aaron, his red eyes shining in the glow of the moon. He wasn't thinking clearly, like in the throne room, although there was one big difference. Crystet was feeling confident in his abilities. He felt like he could take on a god. So, that's what he set out to do. It was the power of determination. The red aura surrounding him went to his legs, confusing Aaron, and for a split second, he didn't know what to do. Once Crystet vanished, though, he knew what was coming. He turned around, yelling the word "Shit!". He saw a kick to the skull incoming and tried to duck, but he was too slow. Crystet dealt a blow many times stronger than the one Aaron threw at Yoshiki.
Aaron went flying backwards, going off of the platform. He fell towards the ground, out of Crystet's sight. Crystet had won, and he knew he had. It was all over. The red aura died down as he began to relax. His eyes still stayed red, and they would be like that until the day he died. He didn't know if he could die, so that was left to be determined. He saw down, relaxing his body for a minute. He didn't know what to do. His friend was dead, the planet was breaking up, but there was probably still some people left alive. He wondered if they could take him as a friend.
As he was thinking about his options, a figure rose from behind him, holding a large sword in their hand. They swung at Crystet, who just barely noticed them. Crystet rolled out of the way, dodging the attack by a hair. Aaron looked at Crystet with murder in his eyes as he went to swing at him again. "Did you really think it would be that easy, Crystet? Did you actually think you could kill a god with ease?!"
"Are you FUCKING serious?! You still aren't ready to die?!" Crystet yelled out in anger. He thought he had finally defeated Aaron, and here he was again, like an annoying fly. This fly was stronger than Crystet, though, as Aaron appeared behind Crystet, his sword impaled straight through his chest. Crystet looked down and saw Aaron's sword, Baned Buster, in his chest. He coughed up a black and red blood-like substance. It was just corruption left roaming throughout his body. Aaron pulled Baned Buster out as Crystet fell to the floor in pain. He began to cry as he felt the hole in his chest. He knew he had some degree of regeneration, but he couldn't be saved by that at this point. His wounds were too severe. Aaron stood over Crystet triumphantly.
"Oh, how you've fallen, Crystet! You were an ordinary person not twenty-four hours ago! How does it feel to have your life destroyed right before your eyes?" Aaron triumphantly asked, trying to see if he could get a reaction out of Crystet. Crystet didn't answer, as he just kept holding his chest in pain. Crystet was bleeding out, and he was too busy being preoccupied with something more important than answering a question. Aaron scowled and began walking over to Crystet when he noticed the air suddenly get colder. Ice shot out from the ground around Crystet like a barrier. Crystet stood up, and with a smile on his face, looked over towards Aaron. Crystet had replaced the missing part of his chest with solid blue ice. A solution to him bleeding out. Out from Crystet's back sprouted magnificent wings of ice, shining against the light of the full moon. A red aura once again began to swirl around Crystet as he rushed toward Aaron.
Aaron smiled and jumped off of the island facing Crystet, floating in the air. He didn't expect Crystet to be able to reach him, but Crystet jumped out towards him. Aaron saw the ice wings flap up and down, and he was almost mesmerised. He was scared out of his mind. Crystet was adapting to the situation, but he thought about the one upside to this. This would make everything much more enjoyable, and he'd finally have a good fight. In the air, he wasn't sure who had the advantage in a duel, as he wasn't going to use Boundless Gravitational Manipulation because that would ruin the whole point of the battle.
Crystet soared towards Aaron, who began flying away. He was trying to make this situation the best he could for himself. From any distance, they would appear to be streaks in the sky, leaving trails of black and pink or black and red. They were monstrously powerful beings compared to average people, but there was a limit. Not that Aaron knew or cared for that matter.
Crystet caught up with Aaron and delivered a swift kick to the back of Aaron's head using his heel. Aaron was sent downwards, feeling the impact, yet no pain. It was an advantage he had over Crstet, and he was using it as best as he could. Aaron looked up and saw Crystet rushing down towards him as he fell. Aaron threw away his sword, feeling a rush of adrenaline. He was feeling what he had been looking for this whole time! He had finally gotten what he wanted!
Aaron rushed up to meet Crystet, surprising him. They began to quickly exchange punches rapidly, getting faster and faster with each passing second. Aaron and Crystet were just barely able to keep up with each other. The punches began to break the sound barrier, leaving rings behind them every time one was thrown. They were ascending beyond what should be capable! Surpassing one's limits! It was the dream of every being! To be better than they once were! Crystet landed a punch on Aaron's face, sending him flying backwards. They rapidly continued to exchange punches, moving all over the night sky like they were trying to see every country that the planet had to offer. People could see the punches being exchanged from their homes, and they were all hoping for one thing. The monster who caused this to be defeated.
Aaron could feel the tension of this situation rise every single second, but he didn't care. He was getting what he wanted, and now he wanted nothing more than for this to last forever. He did know that things were not designed to go on forever and that all good things came to an end. He landed one final punch on Crystet and went to go deliver the killing blow, but what happened next was something he didn't expect.
Crystet grabbed Aaron by the head and held him in tight. Crystet then stopped flying, letting himself drop to the planet. There was one large crack opening up in the planet, and they were about to fall in it. "Crystet! what are you doing?! You could become immortal! Just make a deal with me, and everything can go back to how you want it! You would be a god! How does that sound?" Aaron frantically yelled out, not wanting his fight to end early. He was having too much fun, and for it to go away...
"It sounds tempting Aaron, but I'm afraid I can't take it. I'd be no better than you." Crystet calmly replied as the red went away from his eyes, and it turned into a dull white. The shade of resignation. He was done. Aaron smiled a genuine smile and sighed. "You've beaten me. Well played." Aaron responded, looking Crystet directly in the eyes. "May we meet again in a different life. As friends."
Those were Aaron's final words on this planet, as he and Crystet fell into the large chasm of the planet, straight into its core. The core burned the pair to ashes, as it began to expand outwards even quicker. The world became consumed in a ball of gas and heat, before self-destructing, destroying itself.
