Across the land of this world, which shall now be known by its current name, Eros, the advanced version of Eratonia. What Yera used to call home. Speaking of Yera, what was he doing?
Well, he was working behind the scenes. He had an idea for Aaron, and he was going to activate it in the final match. All he needed to do was press a metaphorical button, and everything would be put into action. It was the perfect plan, but he just had to wait to activate it.
Aaron had no idea what Yera was doing, but he didn't care. He had much bigger things to worry about, such as how he would deal with thsi new power source. It was safe to assume that they didn't have boundless abilities, but it was always bad to just assume. He needed to find out for definite if they didn't, but how? He'd first have to find the person, which wouldn't be too hard, but he'd also have to find out how he'd check. They shouldn't have a system, so they wouldn't exactly know what a Boundless Ability was.
Aaron grabbed his head, and started scraping at it, as one did when they were frustrated. This may be interesting, but it'd be hard to fight them if they had a decent Boundless Ability, even if they had one at all. There were too many different possibilities. Sciat just looked at him from a distance. He didn't want to disturb him. After all, he might come up with an idea to whatever was troubling him, and he didn't want to break his train of thought. That's when he saw Aaron standing in place, taking hsi hands down from his head.
"You know what, fuck it, I'm not going to worry about it. I'm just going to deal with the problem when the problem stares me in the face." Aaron announced. He wasn't going to get anywhere by just thinking about it. Thinking, despite being good, would just slow him down. Plus, he always had his trump card, Telekinetic Psychobreak. It worked on half the world, so it would surely work on some random person. Even if they were powerful, they shouldn't be able to beat him.
After all, the dead body of the queen proved that point greatly. She had an ability with the word 'infinity' in it, so she was probably confident in her abilities, yet there is she was, dead by her one choice. Her own weakness, her cowardice, was what caused that. He gave her a choice, and she chose hidden option three.
Aaron was now wondering about something else. How were Ray and Crystet doing right now? Were they looking for him? Were they going insane? Who knew?
Speaking of Crystet, let's check up on him.
Crystet was currently walking across an open field, as he was before. He'd been calmly walking for about an hour now, and, safe to say, he was quite bored. He had exhausted all the mental chats he could have with himself, and walking provided no help to his boredom. That was the cause, after all.
He was about to just stop for a while when he saw some houses in the distance. He couldn't tell if it was a village or a town, but he knew that they're were at least people there. "Finally! Maybe I can rest here for the night." Crystet excitedly exclaimed, before realising that he was quite literally targeted by half the world. The alive part, that is. He may not have been the one who did the crime, but he definitely fit a certain description.
He needed to find a way to hide out here without getting caught, but how? Could he hide on the rooftops for a while without being found out? No, he'd probably be stopped and accused of either mass homicide or genocide, whichever one applied. He needed to find out who ACTUALLY killed half the planet.
Anyways, how did they know who killed half the planet? Well, mass news reports have a way of spreading, and he heard them before he ran off. Surprisingly enough, news reports were flying in around half a minute after the event. People must have been waiting for something like this to happen. That was unimportant, however. Everybody now knew that half of the world has been murdered by the monster, and the people who see Crystet will immediately assume that HE was the one who killed everyone. He couldn't have that, as he genuinely needed to lie down for a bit, and the grass wasn't really a place to sleep.
He ran up behind a house, finding it to have a decent overhang. He jumped up, finding the jump of about two meters surprisingly easy, landing on the very edge of the overhang. He wobbled on the very edge of the roof, and almost fell off, but he just barely kept his balance. He stood up, and walked over to the top of the roof, and found it to be flat. The perfect place to sleep. He laid down on it, and fell to sleep almost immediately. He was absolutely wrecked, also known as tired.
Aaron wasn't really too curious about Ray. He was the weaker link in the pair of him and Crystet, so he was probably having a panic attack somewhere. Maybe in a high mountain. Would he become a monster of the snow? It's interesting to think about, sure.
Crystet had been asleep for about fifteen minutes, when he was woken up by a loud noise. He couldn't make it out at first, but he slowly began to understand what the noise was saying.
"-go to the guild! We need people who can help find out who killed the King!"
'Well, guess THEY don't know about half of the world and its demise, but maybe this could help the search.' Crystet thought to himself, as he stood on top of the flat roof. He jumped towards the building with the sign that read 'GUILD', and landed on the front door. He pushed open the door, and the first words out of his mouth were:
"So, you need help finding out who killed the King? Well, I'm in."
