Crystet rushed off into the distance, leaving those who yelled at him in his dust. He didn't know where he should go, as he had never known life outside of the city, but he knew that if this had happened in other places, he would be forced out of there as well. He needed to find a place to hide, but he didn't know how long he would hide for. He didn't know why he had become a monster, but it had activated when he screamed. What did screaming have to do with anything?
Well, first, we should know how the corruption spread from his eyes to his entire body. The only reason it spread was that he released a burst of pure, unbridled anger. On a normal corrupted human, it spreads simply by the force of releasing a large amount of any type of emotion, the more negative, the better. This meant that, since he was unleashed by anger, it was one of the quickest and most powerful states of corruption.
If he had released a burst of kindness, he wouldn't be nearly as powerful as he unknowingly was right now. Even the cyan colour of the normally pink corruption had meaning. Any colour that could appear signified one's true emotions, or their most prominent one. Cyan was a sign of bravery. You could also describe it as fearlessness. He didn't want to harm other people, however. It wasn't like the corruption burst of rage defined him. What defined him was the colour that now coloured his eyes.
He rushed out of the city, leaving the insults behind. He needed to see what he could do, now that his body had been covered in this corruption. Could he still access his Ki Abilities? He hoped so, as it would be extremely frustrating if he couldn't.
He ended up in the middle of an open field, so he decided to test it there. He lifted up his hand, and watched as a decently large spear of ice formed in the the air above him. "I still have my ice abilities. That's good. What does this strange form give me in advantages though?" Crystet asked out loud, not paying attention to the growing ice spear, as it continued to grow in size. He only noticed it when he could actually feel it in his hand. He looked up at it, only to see it twice as big as he could ever previously manage, and it was still growing.
Crystet didn't want to have to deal with something so big, but he simply wasn't able to destroy it, so he did what he thought was the best course of action. He drove that thing straight into the ground. He watched as it pushed aside the ground infront of him, and just went down. He didn't even know what to think of it at that point. It was just going down.
Let's hope that doesn't have any effects in the future.
Crystet didn't know what else to do for the moment, so he just began walking in a random direction that was away from the city. He didn't want to go near there again. He began thinking about Ray again. He needed to find out what happened to him, but, even if he found Ray, he'd just run away again, causing Crystet the trouble of finding him again.
Aaron was currently taking a look around the castle. There, surprisingly, was nobody else in the house. Did they run away when the heard someone breaking in? Or was it when he gave the house a little touch of corruption? Who knows? He doesn't. Aaron was contemplating how he should deal with this new opponent that released a burst of non-Ki Energy. Had someone else found out how to mana? That'd be bad for him, as that would mean his secret was out, and it could be used against him.
He just had to hope that they weren't given the chance to use Boundless Abilities like him. If they were smart and chose Boundless Telekinesis, they'd be able to kill him in a single attack. Surely that wouldn't happen, right? He got his abilities because some bastard gave them to him, and then killed him, so he just had to wonder what kind of stuff would have to happen if the other person got Boundless Abilities.
It caused him to feel anxious. If there was even the slightest possibility that someone else had Boundless Abilities, for whatever reason, he needed to eliminate everyone that stood in his way. It would be satisfying to see them be killed, and it would be even better if it was either Ray or Crystet were the one to get those abilities.
He walked back up to the Throne Room, where he saw the queen struggling to get up. He smiled and slowly walked over to her. "Well, what do we have here? The Queen has finally awoken! How was your little nap, Royal? Did you enjoy it?" Aaron mockingly asked. The Queen lifted her hand up, and began to create a red ball of energy, but she was stopped when Aaron grabbed her hand, and pointed it towards her, bending her arm so he could do so.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, queenie. You don't want to hurt yourself, do you?" Aaron replied, with a psychotic smile on his face. He was enjoying watching her try to move her arm, but it was futile. He had a strong grip. The ball of energy grew bigger, and then Aaron proposed a question.
"I'm going to give you the same chance I gave your daughter. You can either work with me, or go run off and gather a pathetic little army to attack me with." Aaron said with his smile growing ever wider. The Queen scowled, but seeing this only determined her to only do one thing.
"I'll never do something a monster wants me to!" She yelled, as she shoved the ball of red energy into her chest. Aaron realised what she was doing, and let go of her hand while jumping back. Not two seconds later, she exploded. She had changed the attack from a beam of energy to an explosion of energy. A kamikaze. If he had stood closer, he'd have been seriously injured.
Blood now lined the walls of the throne room. Aaron wasn't bothered to clean it up, as it would serve as a grim reminder to the princess of what her parent was.
A suicidal coward.
