Aaron's first sword lessons began eight days after they had talked about it, and for that time, he was either playing a game titled 'Wartracer', or meditating. He wanted to break through that barrier, but nothing happened to that annoying blockade standing in his way. He didn't know what it was for, or what he would get by breaking that barrier, but he wanted to know. If it could help him get stronger, then he shall break it, no matter how long it took.
He may not have any Ki, but he had a feeling that the blue flames could help him. He wanted access to them, and all he needed to do was break that barrier.
His resolve came through for him when he finally, after seven out of the eight remaining days had passed, produced a crack in the barrier. Nothing came through, but now he knew it could be damaged. He didn't feel any changes in his real body, so he knew that his Ki hadn't increased.
Now, it's time to explain what Ki was used for. It has been explained that Ki can be used to increase physical abilities, but what else can it be used for?
When a body gets over-filled with Ki, which increased with training, via meditation or battles against another Ki user, it evolves itself. Not physically, but it allows for a larger buildup of stronger Ki. There has been no documented limit on how many times you can do this to any particular human body.
This meant that some people spent their entire lives just meditating, so that they could be the strongest of their time. Aaron's parents were some of the strongest of their age.
Aaron's parents had become famous for their high Ki Power, so they lied to the press about their child's Ki Level, just to get the masses to quieten down. It was much like an Earthen scenario, with the media going bat-shit crazy over some seemingly-unimportant news.
They had told the press that they wouldn't be sending their child to a magic academy, because they were scared of the possibility of him accidentally blowing the place up, which was obviously untrue, but the masses bought their lies, and, surprisingly enough, left them alone.
Aaron was going to the swordsmanship lessons under the false name 'Aaron Telor', so that nobody could identify him as their child.
Now, obviously, four years old is quite the early age to start teaching a child how to swing a sword about, but it would be a useful skill in the future none-the-less.
On the eight day, or, the day that he would begin his lessons, he made another jump in his efforts at breaking the wall. The crack deepened, meaning that he was getting closer and closer to his goal of reaching the blue flames.
A voice rang out from below him. It was his mother.
"Aaron! Time to get in the car!"
Aaron already had a black tracksuit on him, along with a blue t-shirt, and a black hoodie. He wore his black Niko™ (Definitely not affiliated with Nike™ in any way) shoes, and had some black socks on.
He jumped in the car, as the parents explained the plan of action to Aaron.
"So, we're gonna drop you off, and say that you are the child of an old friend, and that we are just dropping you off. That way, nobody will know who you are, OK?"
Aaron was just calm about the situation. He was fine with this, despite barely understanding what they were going to be doing, so if she had said she was going to drive him off a cliff, he wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. All he could accurately understand were motions, which was involved in swordsmanship.
They arrived at the area where Aaron would be taking his lessons, which has quite the strange name. "Mr. Wok's Dojo", with the slogan being quite blunt, simply saying "Teach your child how to swing a sword". It was to the point, which is what made it popular.
Aaron walked inside, as Elise and Stephen walked behind him. Everyone else in the area was wearing their normal clothes, so they didn't need a special uniform, which was good. He wouldn't have been able to put one on anyways.
The dojo had around twenty people inside it, ranging from age five to age fourteen. The instructor, Mr. Wok, walked up to Elise and Stephen, and bowed down slightly. It was a sign of respect, and a way to say hello. Elise was the first one to speak.
"Hello. We are here to get our friend's son, Aaron Telor, started with his lessons?"
"Ah yes, Mr and Mrs Stone! Doing a favour for an old friend I see! No worries, he can join the pair of five year olds with their training. Although, I do have to note that his Ki signature is invisible. Is it just that he currently has a really small amount of Ki?"
"Yeah, he is doing meditation to improve it at his house, with his mother supervising him."
Aaron walked over to the nearby pair of slightly older children. One of them was a boy, and the other was a girl. He tried to greet them by saying hello, but as he was in the middle of saying hello, the girl delivered a nasty kick to his ribcage, sending him flying into the wall. This was a combination of both skill and Ki Infusion. He coughed up a small amount of blood, getting some on his lower lip, as his parents began to walk over to him, worried about him, but he wiped it off, a foolhardy grin on his face. This was the power of foolhardiness. Something he would soon gain more of. He, without warning, pushed himself off the wall, blood dripping from his back. He lifted his head up, as one iris glowed blue, and the other glowed red, only for a split second.
In his mind, the barrier appeared, even without him meditating, as it shattered into thousands of pieces. The blue flames flooded his mind, as it clouded his vision momentarily, as a voice entered his head. It was like it was always meant to be there.
