Chapter 30 - Memories

His parents looked at him, their faces lined with worry, as they had never seen such a phenomenon before. Aaron's body fell back into a more relaxed state, as his face pointed towards the ground. Nothing seemed to have happened to him, at least from the outside.

To Aaron, however, his mind was being assaulted by his old memories, as a robotic voice began pounding against his eardrums, sending out seemingly unintelligible messages.

[Memories Regained]

[Welcome back, Aaron]

Aaron looked around this area, as his old personality and new personality combined, while his new memories and old memories sorted themselves together. Aaron regained an old streak of pacifism, due to his new personality, but one thing wouldn't be thrown away.

His resolve to do what he must. Something that carried him through his first human life, and his skeletal one.

His body began to slowly heal itself, as the blood which was leaking form his back began to slow. The girl which had kicked him began to kick him again, but he lifted up his face, as his eyes began glowing a bright purple, almost as if they were being lit up by an inner light.

He appeared behind the girl, with his palm outstretched, as it emitted a glowing purple aura.

"Graviton Pulse!"

The girl looked behind her, and a scared expression filled her face. A beam of purple light flew out of Aaron's hand, crashing into the girl at a high speed, as the Graviton Pulse flung her into the same hole she had hit him into.

Her head flicked back against the brick wall, as blood began to drip from her body, like a dripping tap. She fell from the wall, as a small pool of water formed beneath her. Not enough to believe she was dead, but enough to need to rush her to hospital. This was due to the streak of pacifism he had gained from the personality combination. If they hadn't combined, she would have been killed by the Graviton Pulse. He wouldn't have held back.

Mr. Wok was the one to rush the girl there. He learned that her name was Sera. Sera Tonin. (Yes I just did that). Before leaving, he said something.

"Class is over for the week!"

The other children began their early walk home, as Aaron stood in the same position in which he had fired the Graviton Pulse. His hand had stopped glowing, and so had his eyes, but he was just being assaulted by his memories. He was trying to find out if humans were actually good or evil. There were two seperate scenarios and lives running through his head, both prying for superiority over the other.

His parents rushed over to him, to see if he was OK, but as soon as they reached him, he collapsed, falling to the ground, although no sound was made as he fell. It was like his body was immaterial enough to fall down without any need to make noise. This was due to his body being suddenly overhauled by his previous Mana. The thing his body and soul utilised for attacks.

"Aaron!"

His parents soon became drowned out, as the voice in his head kept on speaking to him, as he remembered it to be his system.

[New Host Body]

[Applying Status to New Body]

[New Rank Gained]

[The Unevolved One]

[A simple term which the humans will refer to you as. It grants respect and fear amongst the human population.]

Aaron's body began to fall into a state of unconsciousness that not even the system could penetrate, as his body began to hold all of its power in itself. His bones and body began to turn into a dark material, which was essentially unbreakable for nay normal person. His skin began many times as resilient as it was before, and his blood began much stronger, in the sense that it was able to safely carry around fifty times more white blood cells to heal injuries, meaning that his injuries would actually be able to heal themselves over fifty times as fast.

His organs were now around ten times as strong as the average persons, meaning that, even if a normal ki user hit one of his organs on a weak spot, it wouldn't kill him. Now that his body wasn't skeletal, he could store more mana INSIDE his body, meaning that, even though he had an unknown supply, he would always have some sealed directly inside his body, to be fired out without any preparation.

His body was essentially evolving himself without using the usual methods of this world, so it wouldn't be detected by a Ki Reader, although Aaron had no control over that. His body wasn't designed to handle Ki, but it WAS designed to handle Mana. And since he was the only one with mana, he could become insanely strong without 'Evolving with Ki'.

His body wouldn't be able to handle any other thing than mana, because, surprisingly, Earth, the original birthplace of Aaron Stone, emmited mana aswell. It was just that humans hadn't gained the ability to realise and utilise that man's yet. That's why the humans in the other world could. They learned how to use the mana to their advantage, as their bodies were built to contain and expel mana.

The human body could also do that, it just wasn't trained to do so. Only a few rare instances of an Earthen human being able to manipulate mana have been documented, and all of them entered the magic industry. If you ever see a magical act that you just can't seem to wrap your head around, no matter how experienced you were, then it was probably a person who was able to manipulate mana.

Aaron's mind began to brighten, as his body began to restart itself, awakening him from his unconsciousness. He was in a bright room, with lights shining into his eyes, as a doctor stood above him. There was a syringe in his hand, as he said something.

"Now, it's time to see what made that 'Pulse' occur..."
