Adelo lay on his back, mostly naked except for a worn pair of underwear. Below him the grainy sand gently settled against his skin, and waves gently tickled his feet.
Adele's days are never filled with anything, which he liked. But not so much the reason for it. He is nothing more than a experiment for the elders. He still had the scar along his stomach from when they had cut him open. Although the experiment did prove something. Like all the Aradithe he is not solely male or female. Inside him is a womb, however unlike the rest of Aradithe his testicles are on the outside and connected to his dick. This is why he his labeled 'male.'
"Adelo." Yamatar shouted out.
Adelo looked to see his mother approaching. She looked tired, but she always did. Adelo could not help but feeling responsible. Because of him she had to leave her partner and her child named Dena, and the two were forced to live isolated from the rest of society. Only the elders knew of his existence.
"Adelo! What are you doing. Get dressed and help me prepare supper."
Adelo got to his feet.
"Okay mama."
Adelo quickly put on his shirt and pants. He followed his mother back to their small hut. A fire had already been start and water boiled in a cauldron.
Yamatar started preparing vegetables, and Adelo deheaded and deboned some freshly caught fish. They soon got a stew started.
"Adelo, while this is cooking do you mind cutting some fire wood? I think we are getting low."
"Okay."
Adelo stepped outside. The hit itself lay between a beach, the ocean, where jagged rocks surrounded the island, and a dense forest.
Adelo stepped into the edge of the forest where some wood had already been laid, and his axe leant against a stump.
He placed the first peice of wood on the stump and began hacking away.
A rustling sound made Adelo stop. He looked where the sound had come from. It is probably a hare, but Adelo stayed curious. Rightfully so.
A Aradithe stumbled out from the bushes panting. Her tunic and pants had become torn and her revealed body showed scrapes and cuts. Twigs and branches had gotten tangled in her messy hair.
Adelo stared for a second to admire her. It is clear she is not an elder, she is much too young. Adele's age more than likely, sixteen or seventeen at most. She looked up to see Adelo. She has a pretty face, although a filthy one. When she saw Adelo she screamed.
"Hi." Adelo said with a friendly smile and wave.
The Aradithe began to quiver. She bit her lip and Adelo spotted blood start to come out from it. She took a step back and ran into a tree. She jumped, although blushed when she saw it was a tree she had ran into.
Adelo let out a laugh.
"It isn't funny," the Aradithe argued.
Adelo stoped, but could not suppress his smile.
"Okay."
At that moment Yamatar came out from behind Adelo. She noticed the Aradithe and panicked.
"Adelo, why don't you go set the table and watch the stew for me?"
"Okay."
Adelo turned and walked away. Yamatar turned to face the frightened Aradithe.
"Ignore my son, he is naive when it comes to the outside world. My name is Yamatar, what is yours?"
The Aradithe said something in whimper, softer than a whisper.
"Pardon?"
"Wadetre." The Aradithe said with too much force.
"Nice to meet you Wadetre, would you like to come in and have a meal?"
Wadetre felt her stomach growl at the sound of food.
"Sure."
