Chris was dumbfounded as he received the call about keturah being in the hospital. things were about to go bad. Amira saw how stressed out he was as he paced up and down the room looking for his car key.
" what wrong Chris, you've been looking troubled" Amira asked Chris. Chris hesitated before telling Amira everything. she was terrified and asked if she could join him, he gave her a slight nod and she got her phone before they took off.
After a couple of hours, they finally reached the hospital. they entered and saw a doctor coming out from the operating room.
" Doctor, I'm Mr Lou and one of my family member had an accident. Keturah Reign." Chris said in a deep voice as it's sent chills to the doctors body. The doctor was quick to recognize the name as he new he was the heir to Lou's Enterprise. He quickly took him to his office where the could discuss the diagnosis of Keturah.
" Mr Lou, Keturah needs to be careful. she is a vampire but has the immune system of a human being. she needs to stay away from alcohol, too much sun can make her have migraine and last but not least she is asthmatic, is there anybody that is asthmatic in her family"
" Yes, her mom. the queen is asthmatic and so was the queens mother". the doctor was dumbfounded, who could have guess that she was the princess of this kingdom. Chris saw the look on his face as he chuckled.
" Okay. I will prescribe some medicines for her, due to the accident.she sprained her legs and will be on cast for three days. but don't worry, she didn't have any damages on her body or any broken bone. ummmm, right now she need injection to ease the pain of her leg, so let go to her ward." the trio left for where Keturah's ward was, when they entered they met Rolexander's driver who stood up and bowed his head in shame.
" I'm sorry sir, I should have watch where I was going. And don't worry, Mr Rolexanader has taken care of the bill as a compensation. He said he was sorry as he could not wait longer because he had a meeting to attend" the driver told Chris who was staring at Keturah's unconscious body.
" it's okay, I understand. mistakes happens, but be careful next time" Amira answered as she sat down beside keturah who started gaining consciousness. soon she gained consciousness, the doctor signaled the nurse to give her the shot. Keturah's eyes was a little opened as the room was too bright, but immediately she heard the shot her eyes flew open as she sat up panting hard.
" s... s... shot! " keturah screamed as she looked at the injection in the nurse's hand.
" doctor, Keturah has been afraid of shot since she was little, is there anything else we can do except from giving her injection" Amira asked as she looked at keturah who was still panting.
" I'm sorry miss, but there is nothing we can do. You know what, everyone out side we are going to hold her down" the doctor said as he pushed all of them outside.
" wait, what ?. no, no, no, no. I need them here. please I don't want injection, I'm so scared" keturah pleaded.
" Don't worry ma'am, it won't hurt a bit" the doctor tried to coax her like a child. Keturah calmed down as the nurse came near her as soon the needle pierced through her skin she screamed in pain.
" see, we are all done" the nurse said as she rubbed her hand with wool to stop the blood.
After a few minute, the doctor, nurse and keturah came out of the ward. the only odd thing is that keturah was limping as there was a cast on her knees. Amira rushed to help her stand upright and soon they hit the road back to the Lou's mansion.
In the car, there was awkward silence between the trio.
" Chris I can explain, I didn't see the ca-"
" save it" Chris said shutting her up as he was furious with her. If there was something Chris hated was the fact that any one he is close to get hurt or someone doesn't listen to instructions. Soon, they reached their destination but who new there was a surprise waiting for them. immediately they entered the house a tall figure stood in front of them. she was a damsel, she had blonde hair short hair, a slender body. she is a 50 year old woman and looked she had some jobs done.
" m... m ... mother" Amira stuttered as she looked at Chris who had a face full of hatred and keturah with a shocked expression.
" long time, no see children."
