Rosalie covers herself with her wings and starts to spin. grabbing 2 of her feathers that harden like a blade. she holds them like daggers, and covers them in black flame. she rushes rosana as the later rushes her as well.
The blades clash as rosanas weapons Crack.
Rosalie twists away shooting her feathers at the blades causing the blades to shatter, and fall away.
Francesca stops the fight."winner Rosalie "
Rosana falls on her knees and pants. The now black flaming sword pieces slowly evaporate.
Rosana is livid.
"there is no way I as the scarlet knight have lost to a demon kin this is ridiculous."
She Stamps her foot and looks at reiji enjoying his tea.
Reiji stands and as he does Rosalie flies straight into his chest knocking him over.
"REIJIIIIIII I DID IT I DID IT !!!" Reijis leg is twitching.
"Rosalie that hurt you know."
Reiji pats Rosalie's head. Rosanna just stands up and looks at them then says.
" Fine I will follow the terms of our contest"
she stamps off to the front of the mansion and gets in the carriage waiting her she leaves back to the kingdom of rashan.
Rosana sits in the carriage tapping her foot
" maybe I should have just went with it. he seemed powerful."
she thinks back to the pressure she felt and chills ran down her spine.
"I know I was stronger but when I challenged him even slightly.. im afraid if he gets stronger we won't be able to stop him."
rosana takes out a scroll to message her father. when she was about to send it off the carriage was attacked by a demonic minotaur. It comes smashing into the carriage ripping a hole in its side.
RAAAAWWR rosana jumps out of the carriage and falls on one knee. the shock when the carriage was being rolled over sprained her ankle.
"Dammit why can't I catch a break?"
rosana goes to grab her blades but realizes they were broken. rosana cries out as she lunges at the minotaur. The minotaur smacks her away and she hits a rock spitting out blood.
Meanwhile reiji was still being hugged by Rosalie and he was confused as to when she got so clingy. a loud crash occurs and Francesca is staring out the window.
Francesca runs to reiji and explains the situation it turns out rosana wasn't that far from reijis mansion. Reiji grabs Rosalie and pulls her off of him. He rushes to the wall of the city he can see the carriage knocked over.
A parchment appears before Reiji from the king. The words enter his mind.
"Reiji I request your aid once more, please save the rashan princess."
reiji drops from the wall and runs to the scene.
rosana is fading fast her eyes dimming as she tries to stand her vision blurry .
" i..am..the scarlet knight...firs...first princess of the kingdom of rashan a 16 year old 1 star knight rank..i...I am a prodigy" you ...will not kill me.."
she spits up blood and collapses to the ground.
"Well I tried..hehehe maybe I'll be luckier in the next life."
The minotaur rushes at her limp body and just as it goes to slam down upon rosana she dissapears.
The minotaur looks around until it looks behind itself. Seeing a man holding his dinner the minotaur rages. It lunges at the man as the man deftly dodges he speaks.
"lack of experience fells the greatest warriors Rosanna"
Rosanna looks up with blurry vision she can't see who rescued her but she lifts her hand to his cheek. " I found my prince" her last words as she faints.
the clouds clear and the sun shines down upon reiji. the minotaur charges again and grabs a small tree swinging it down on reiji.
reiji jumps and uses his feet to kick off of the tree. launching himself and rosana into the air. the minotaur looks around until he looks up.
reiji axe kicks the minotaur in between the eyes. the minotaur falls and reiji raises his left arm white emperors fist revised and he slashes down.
"people do not realize how useful just one skill can be. If you use it differently this is the difference between experience and inexperience"
reiji lifts the minotaur up slightly crushing it's throat in his hands. he let's the dead beast go as it dissapears slowly.
" time to return I guess"
Reiji returns to his mansion.
"sigh being a baby sitter is hard work" reiji puts rosana down in a bed and calls Francesca to help.
"sir reiji she will be fine with a bit of rest but if I were you I'd try to hide rosana from rosalie"
Francesca smiles like a cat, or don't but I wouldn't want to be you hehe"
reiji looks at her sternly. "you are such a troublemaker aren't you Francesca. "
yes sir reiji it is a hobby of mine."
Reiji looks at himself covered in minotaur blood.
"I think I need to change clothes"
reiji returns to his room and walks in taking off his shirt. he slowly slides it off but it gets stuck a bit. he turns he thinks he hears a noise. he doesn't see anything but as the sun sets he realizes.
"another blood moon huh."
he finishes bathing and walks out to his wardrobe. realizing he doesn't own another jacket like the one he had.
"sad I liked that jacket" oh well I can go shopping tommorow. reiji closes his wardrobe and climbs into bed exhausted. To think I'd allow someone to get so close again after what happened."
