"Sure, I don't mind," I say with a smile, trying to stop myself from blushing.
We soon get into the police car. while the two officers sit in the back, Andrew and I sit in the front with him driving.
"I live in Crosstimbers Apartments about 10 minutes from here," I say while buckling up my seatbelt, looking up at the starless night sky.
I see Andrew smirk a little in the corner of my eye, which causes me to furrow my eyebrows a bit at his reaction.
"What a coincidence, I live in Crosstimbers apartments too." He mumbles.
What? What? What? WHAT? God, I can't even believe that, no no no, I'm starting to get a headache. He lives in the same f****** apartment building as me! Andrew, the extremely hot guy lives in the same apartment building as me!
I try to control my raging thoughts and at least respond to him as I attempt to keep a poker face, but obviously fail.
". . . Oh really?" I say slowly with puzzled expressions.
Oh gosh, please tell me that he doesn't live near me . . . I mean, he does . . . but just not close rooms . . . because I swear, I can't take anymore craziness from this good-looking man.
"Yep really, I live on the 2nd floor in apartment 208," Andrew says with a chuckle, and I can't believe my ears . . . and still, nor my eyes.
I try to smile a little bit but I end up furrowing my eyebrows. Oh god, he lives 3 apartments away from me.
Oh my gosh . . . Oh my gosh!! What the hell ughh! Well! What an exciting night this is for me. I mentally complain as I secretly roll my eyes.
I'm seriously going to have to tell Hana and Bea about this guy.
I notice both the police officers are trying to hide their smiles by looking out the window.
Those sly f****** foxes! Are they trying to do something with Andrew and I? I give them a cold hard stare through the side mirror and they both clear their throats then go back to their phones.
Man . . . just what the hell is happening.
"So, which apartment do you live in, Ms. Dawn?" Andrew says while looking me in the eye.
I give him a stare of annoyance.
He seems to be fazed by my 'It Rose not Ms. Dawn' stare as he clears his throat and breaks eye contact.
I would think it's funny, but I'm so annoyed right now.
"My bad, Rose," Andrew mumbles shyly while I look out the window.
I can hear both the officers snort and one of them chuckles while I roll my eyes, a little bit less secretly.
I can tell Andrew noticed because he slightly turns his head to the back and shoots the two officers a stare, or more of a glare that shuts them up. All I see of the two officers is a smirk plastered on their face.
Damn those cops.
I try to ignore them and focus on Andrew's question.
"I actually live on the second floor too . . . apartment 205," I sigh.
Andrew seems to be surprised as I was when he told me his apartment number.
"Well . . . what a double coincidence this is," Andrew says in a playful tone, smiling.
Is he really that happy? Should I be creeped out or happy…?
Damn. . .screw all this whatever.
"Yep, what a double coincidence indeed," I reply quietly.
The next couple of minutes were just drowned by the most uncomfortable silence in my life.
I honestly couldn't wait to get out, not that I was with an incredibly hotsome man, and nor the awkwardness . . . but, I also needed to pee.
I guess drinking coffee right before having a car accident isn't the best idea.
"Alright, we're here," Andrew says with a quiet sigh.
Both of the officers get out of the car while lighting their cancer sticks.
Damn. I really hate smokers. I try to dismiss the smell of smoke. Once I get my purse and run my hands through my hair, I open the door to meet Andrew's hand right in front of me.
Without hesitation, I take his hand and let him help me out of the car.
"Thanks," I say with a slight smile.
"No problem My lady," Andrew says while smiling. Oh gosh. His dimples, and omg he's squinting his eyes! I swear I thought chivalry was dead! This man IS a hot prince! I thought as I blush, I'm such a lovesick adult I almost getting used to it thanks to this man.
I'm left staring at him after I take my hand off of his, that is, until the smell of smoke hits my nose. I try to ignore the smell of smoke coming from the officer's cigarette.
I break eye contact for a short second and look up to the dark sky, until I feel someone staring at me.
I turn my head to find that Andrew is looking me up and down.
H-he....HES CHECKING ME OUT!
I can feel my whole face burning, I'm pretty sure that I probably look like a tomato again. I guess Andrew realized that I noticed his action so he turned his head and cleared his throat before looking back at the smiling officers who quickly turned the other way.
"Well . . .," I say with a smile to cut a knife through the awkwardness. "I guess we should head off now."
"Yes I agree," Andrew says in response.
He starts to walk towards the entrance of the building but soon stops when he notices that I'm not behind him.
I was following him but I still couldn't bare the smell of the smoke coming from the cigarettes that burned my nose.
I turned on my heels towards the two officers, and grabbed both of the cigarettes from their mouth and threw it on the ground and crushed it with the tip of my shoe, all while giving them my most fierce and intimidating glare and a slight smirk on my lips.
Although, I wasn't finished yet, so I flicked a finger really hard on both of their foreheads and whispered in both of their ears,
"Chicos de venganza."
I then walk away towards Andrew with snort while the two men are left standing next to their car, giving each other a look of fright while they gulped and took a breath.
Pft-guess my intimidating beauty really left them in a trance heh. I chuckle lightly at my sarcasm.
I can't stop mentally laughing in my head until Andrew catches both of my eyes. He just stares at me, with a blank expression on his face.
