After a few weeks had passed, Vlasfimia was starting to understand some things, firstly, he had heard that adventurers that tended to fight against the druid goblin had reported having a harder time than before, however Vlas himself had not noticed such things when he had fought against the goblin again, it didn't seem to remember him at all, so he came to the conclusion that bosses couldn't make use of past experiences if the person they were facing was the cause of said experience or perhaps another perk of defeating him solo on the first try.
Secondly, even though the goblin was clearly intelligent, due to the inability to remember the past fight they had, he had a habit of responding in a predictable way to attacks, as such defeating him had only gotten easier as time went on, on the tries directly after the first though it had been complicated as he hadn't been quite as predictable.
Also, he would only get the three items if he defeated him after the ground was broken, when he had killed him on his 'first phase' he would with some luck drop the scroll for his four floating wooden spikes, it was a nicer one for him since it had much less restriction than the others.
The goblin could easily be killed when he the tree opened up to let him out or be wounded hard enough that even after his power up he wouldn't be able to give much of a fight, so far the four drops seemed to be the only things that could be obtained from this boss but it was already quite a bit, having a guarantee of getting three items for defeating him in his second phase was quite something, especially when compared to the others bosses that can be found on the five first floors.
Obviously, there was also the XP but Vlas couldn't see how much he got or even know when he levelled up, so it wasn't very important to him, all that mattered was that he was getting stronger and also due to his actions, he had made the life of some adventurers harder, which was always a nice bonus, one had had his skull cracked by the goblin.
Now, looking at the stash of scrolls and staffs, Vlas was wondering how to use all of this, obviously, he could sell some to Duaparc or sell them himself, he could also to try and use some of them even though they weren't the best suit for him.
He had quite a few and could easily get more, so he decided to grab three of the scrolls, one of each and as he was about to use them, his right eye erupted with flames, the fire wanted to say something.
Listening to its words through the pain of it caused, Vlas raised his only eyebrow and made an 'ooh' sound with his mouth, the fire was saying some good shit.
"Then go ahead" spoke Vlas out loud, he was in his home he could speak to his fire, no one would see it.
As he spoke these few words, the three scrolls erupted in orange flames, the flames joined that inside of Vlasfimia's eye and the fire seemed to be burning with more strength, Vlas could also feel something but it wasn't reachable for now.
To reach what he was feeling, he would need to wait feeding things to the flame wouldn't make it any faster, it needed to grow on its own, however he could feel that something should be possible now.

Luckily, Agios hadn't showed up during all of this time, as such Vlas had yet to have to deal with him for now, not like he could really deal with him at all, after all Vlasfimia didn't want to kill his brother, beating him up a bit should suffice, perhaps breaking some bones if or perhaps leaving him with Duaparc for a bit would make him rethink his decisions.
Vlas exited his house, making sure no one was around and started heading to the entrance of the dungeon, he had entered through here earlier, he needed to keep his order of passage coherent.
As he walked he went through a large open area and a tingle told him that he wasn't as alone as the room suggested, turning his head to an opening, he waved in direction of it, telling whoever was there that he knew they were here.
From the opening, emerged a knight wearing heavy armor, his helmet had the shape of a face, he held a polearm, a fauchard.
"What do you want?" Vlas cut to the chase, the tingle certainly hadn't alerted him of just a presence but of hostility.
"I have heard of your 'deeds' and, pardon my prejudice but you seem very much guilty of them all, as a knight, I can not let that pass" spoke the heavily armored knight.
"Oh, another one? And here I thought you had stopped doing this kind of things, truly, knights are all of the same cloth, am i right?" said Vlas, disappointed by the revelation as it wasn't exactly the most uncommon thing for him, it never was the very strong one either that did that, no they had to do other things, they couldn't wait for Vlas to show up in a dusty dungeon for hours.
"Very well, come here, I am on a schedule and you are not part of it" spoke Vlas with a hint of disdain, just enough to be noticeable.
The fact that he didn't bother to pull any weapon, worried the knight a bit but not as much as it should have.
As the knight was about to attack, Vlas analysed his foe and tried to see what establisment he belonged to based on his fashion and weapon, coming to a conclusion fairly quickly, a heavy armor with a face carved in the helmet, associated with a polearm, the face could either be a mirror or consumed knight but since there was no mirror shield to be seen, this meant that this guy was a consumed knight.
It should be fairly easy considering that this guy was no master, Vlasfimia should be able to make use of their weakness, a bit annoying that he had to use those on another target than who they were meant for but he could always make more later.
Evading some swipes of his fauchard by stepping back, he made a little bit of distance and threw knife at the knight, it never would have even remotely hurt him but as expected he still reacted to it and brought his polearm in a defensive posture, allowing Vlas to move toward him and grab his weapon, forcing the both of them into some grappling but Vlas skipped that part by just lifting his knee and hitting him into the groin, a part that was rarely defended by armor as it was a dificult part to cover.
He bended forward in response and loosened his grip on the weapon allowing Vlasfimia to slam the handle of his own polearm into his face and then yoink the fauchard out of his hands and throw it away, he wouldn't need it anymore.
Vlas then tackled the knight to the ground, armor may not be as heavy as some may think but on the ground with a maniac on top of you and the armor suddenly feels very much heavy, Vlas unsheated the knights own dagger and attempted to plung it into one the slits of his helmet.
Missing the first few times and ending in him getting pushed away, the knight reversing the situation but once he seemingly got the upper hand, Vlas just headbutted him straight into his helmet proving that his mask was pretty damn hard as the knight was dazed by hit and once more ended up with Vlas on top of him and a dagger was stabbed right into one of his eyes, piercing through his brain.
Vlasfimia quickly got back up and pulled something out of his bag, as a consumed knight does, the knight started shaking and got back up, a dark creature popping up from beneath his armor smashing the left shoulder part of the armor.
It was extremely large when compared to the knight, dark in color with large red eyes, sharp looking claws and pristine white pointy teeth, consumed knight were as their name suggested consumed by a monster, born from their very flesh and that would sprout when the knight died, reviving the knight and granting additional firepower.
There was one small issue however.
Vlas chucked a fist sized item at the dark beast, on contact it exploded into flames covering the beast in it and it died a few seconds afterwards, going back into its host as it died.
Vlas hurriedly gathered the knight weapon and body and carried all of this to his home, the armor although damaged was still worth something.
