"Wake up", Brianna shook her as she attempted to wake her up. Cat's eyelids started to move slowly as she opened them. She couldn't see well cause everything she was seeing was blurry. She blinked numerously as she stared at Brianna for a few seconds. She then opened her eyes wider, she wasn't a morning person. Waking up in the morning was a task to her. Unlike Brianna who loved waking up in the early morning, Cat always struggled when waking up. She sat at her bed before the corners of her lips slightly curved up. "Good morning", she spoke as her eyes were locked with Brianna's eyes.
"Good morning sleeping beauty", Brianna mentioned with a wide grin on her face. She loved calling her that whenever she woke her up. Even though Cat didn't love waking up early in the morning. She always woke up early in the morning so that she couldn't be late.
"Am not sleeping beauty", a soft chuckle escaped from Cat's lips. She stood and headed towards the kitchen area. Her stomach was rumbling and she wanted to find out if Brianna had already made breakfast for them. She was happy when she saw that she had already made breakfast. She took the pancakes and tea. She headed towards her bed and sat on the edge. She took the breakfast and started to eat it.
"Whooaah slow down you will choke", Brianna laughed at how she was eating like a beggar. But Cat didn't care she continued to consume the breakfast that way until she was done.
"It was yummy", she stated as she took the utensils she used to the kitchen area. She was now full unlike before when her belly was rumbling. When she first started eating her stomach relaxed. She felt so much better and ready to go to work.
"I know right am the best chef", Brianna boasted as she shook her head. She loved praising herself all the time Cat praised her cooking skills.
"Yes you are the best of them all", Cat mentioned. She always loved to tiss her all the time. She stood and headed towards the bathroom. She bathed quickly cause she had woken up late unlike the other days. After she was done, Brianna had already left for work.
She headed to her closet to select the cloth that she was going to wear. Cause her boss had already given her sophisticated clothes to wear. She took one of the trouser suits. "This will look so good on me", Cat mentioned as she stared at the outfit for a few seconds. She took the suit and wore it.
"Wow you look so good Miss Cat", She talked to her reflection as she stared at herself in the mirror. The outfit looked good on her. She was so beautiful and looked elegant. This is how Shawn always wanted his personal assistants to look like.
After she was done admiring herself. She took her bag and headed outside. She closed the door before she proceeded to work. After a few minutes, she had arrived in the building. As she headed towards the elevator it was closing and there was one person inside. She tried to block it from going up. Fortunately, the person inside the elevator opened it for her to enter. She was surprised that it was Shawn who was in the elevator.
"Hi sir...", She greeted him with a slight grin on her face. Her heartbeat was pounding faster as she realised that he was staring at her. A frown appeared on his face as she referred to him as sir. He didn't like being called sir by her. He loved it when she called him by his name.
"Don't you remember told you not to refer to me as sir", he reminded her again. He headed closer to her as his eyes were glued to her. She wasn't believing that he was staring at her intensely like he wanted to smooch her. She tried to calm herself so that he couldn't realise that she was nervous. She didn't want him to feel like she feared him or something. He stretched his hand and adjusted her collar. Her adrenaline decreased after she noticed that he wasn't planning on smooching her. They finally arrived on the floor of his office. Cat first exited the elevator before Shawn followed her.
"Good morning Steve", Cat greeted him as he was sitting at his desk.
"Good morning Cat how was your weekend", he asked her. This made her remember Zach and how he confessed his feelings to her. But she had to act like she didn't remember it.
"It was fine", she responded after a few seconds. Shawn greeted him too before he went to his office. When they entered his office, Cat was surprised that Shawn had an extra table. She knew that the table was hers but she couldn't believe that she was going to share the office with him.
"That new table over there will be yours. I just want you to be closer to me so that you can assist me with my work well", He explained the reason as to why the table was in his office. She didn't understand his reason well cause it didn't make sense. She decided to act dumb and pretend that she didn't know the main reason why he was doing it.
"Thank you ", Cat informed him as she turned to glance at the table. It looked so beautiful and well arranged. She found it weird that she was going to share his office with him. This meant that she was going to be seeing him all the time.
"Yes you will be my first assistant that will be sharing my office with me", he mentioned. He had a smirk on his face as he informed her of this. He was making her start to think that he had other intentions towards her.
"Aaah really why sir", She decided to ask him anyway. She wanted to know his intentions.
"Never call me sir again. Remember that you should be calling me Shawn. You are am favourite assistant that's why want you to be here with me", he answered her question. She wanted to ask him why she was his favourite but decided to stop. She headed towards the table and sat on it.
"You will be the one who will be receiving the calls from our clients. You will also be organising my meetings. By time you will know all your duties Cat", he informed her.
"Yes Shawn", she answered him. She was finding it weird to call him by his name. But since he wanted her to call him that way. She had no other choice than to address him like that.
