David's Secret
What was David hiding? Karla felt the need to investigate all of that. She remembers Amelia's character since she was a child. Amelia is not a wild girl who can engage in relationships outside of a legal marriage carelessly.
Pretending not to care, Karla continued eating heartily. Markonah is good at cooking, for that one matter, Karla has to give her a thumbs up. Every time she bought a cookbook, Markonah would immediately practice. The result, quite satisfying, even according to Karla Markonah rarely cooks badly. Omelet can be very tasty if Markonah fries it.
"You said you were going on a diet, what time are you still eating fried rice. It's a high carbon, not to mention the oil content in it," said David sarcastically.
"Tomorrow, I have started yoga. There is a special trainer that I sent home. Tomorrow I will also shop for food while I am on a diet. So, let's just say tonight is goodbye with good food," Karla replied indifferently.
David just grinned, he knew very well how ambitious Karla was. "Just arrange what you want and as you like," said David. After finishing eating, both of them immediately entered the room. Karla, who was still curious about what David was hiding, immediately lay down and pulled the blanket. It wasn't really good for digestion, but Karla was lazy if she had to serve David's biological desires tonight. For the first time, Karla felt like a cheap woman peddling bodies for money.
The difference is that she is a body peddler who is a little more elegant because she can be an artist and has a very, very decent life when compared to the cheap women out there. David himself had no interest in touching Karla tonight. Since Karla gave birth, David has become a little uneasy about touching Karla's body, maybe because he saw the fat sags that were starting to show on her body.

"Are you crazy, Dave ?! I haven't contacted the media in Korea yet, you've bought me tickets and even hotel reservations. You're crazy!" scolded Patricia when David gave her tickets and some money that she had exchanged into Korean currency.
"As soon as possible, Patricia. Otherwise, we'll be ahead of everyone else!" exclaimed David.
"I know that right now our company is in bad shape. However, our business is not just this, Dave. You are like someone who has run out of money," said Patricia.
David took a deep breath, "You know very well what this company means to me, Pat. So even if my other businesses can keep me standing, still, I have to keep this company."
Patricia exhaled heavily and then raised her hands. "Fine, you win! Tomorrow I will go to Seoul and look for Jasmine."
"Thanks, Pat."
Patricia fell silent, David's answer looking not at all excited. She looked at her cousin's face, "What's wrong with you?" asked Patricia.
"What why?"
"You can't hide anything from me, Dave. I know you as much as I know myself," said Patricia. David laughed bitterly, he lit a cigarette and began to smoke slowly.
"There's a secret I've kept to myself for the past year, Pat. I'm ashamed to admit it," David said, causing Patricia to arch her eyebrows.
The beautiful girl immediately sat in front of David calmly, she knew that this must be a serious problem.
"You can trust me, Dave," said Patricia.
"Amelia ... it's about Amelia."
"What's wrong with her?"
David sighed and told her about the troubles he had been keeping to himself. When she heard this, Patricia didn't show sympathy. However, the girl immediately got up and without hesitation slapped her cousin hard.
"Damn! If your father knew this, he would be much angrier than me!" scolded Patricia angrily.
Patricia knew that David had never been able to commit to marriage, but that didn't mean he could just give up responsibility with a check worth three hundred million rupiahs.
"Amelia must have been carrying your child when she left if it was true that you and Karla found the test pact in her room," said Patricia.
"I think so too, Pat. That's why I feel so sorry for Amelia. But I'm confused about how I should make up for it."
"Marry her!"
David felt as if he had been struck by lightning when he heard Patricia's words.
"With Amelia? She's that ...."
"Why? She's fat, ugly, not the type of girl you want, is that so?" Patricia's grunt left David speechless.
"Dave, you have to be responsible for everything you do, Amelia, a good girl," said Patricia again.
David just thought, when it comes to marriage, somehow David's heart feels like a slashed sorrow. Not many people know what the real David family is like except for Patricia. David's father Ronald Romano, born in France, met Cahaya Kamila, David's mother when they were both studying in Paris. The light was an only child so Ronald decided to change his nationality. They got married in Indonesia, both of Cahaya's parents left all their assets and company completely to Ronald.
Ronald, who at that time had already built his own company, did not mind doing what his parents-in-law had entrusted him. He also asked for help from Gracia, her younger sibling who also moved to Indonesia. Gracia is none other than Patricia's mother. Just like Ronald, Gracia married a native Indonesian. It was to them that finally, Ronald entrusted his father-in-law's company so that it could develop rapidly.
However, a deadly accident has claimed the lives of Cahaya and her parents. They died in a plane crash when they were about to leave for France to catch up with Ronald, who had already gone there with David. David was only 14 years old at the time, and the young man had to endure extreme sadness. Since then David spent more time with his aunty Gracia and also spent his teenage years with Patricia. From that moment on, somehow David felt that a marriage with a different culture and culture would only bring disaster. If only Cahaya and Ronald were both Indonesians, of course, Cahaya doesn't have to go all the way to France just to meet her in-laws.
David's heart also seemed to be without love, perhaps because the lack of a touch of a mother's affection made him very cold. He also seems to be looking for a woman who is as beautiful as his late mother. He always wanted a woman who was slender, beautiful, perfect like the Kamila Light in his old eyes. Not once did Ronald ask David to marry Karla. However, David never heeded his father's request.
"You know very well the reason I don't want to get married. I don't want to be like Daddy, because of his love for Mommy, since Mommy is not Where he lives in his world," said David to Patricia.
"Whatever you say, Dave. But, if I can give some advice, get Amelia."
