17. The Agreement
David feels that his mood is getting worse when he returns to the apartment and sees Davila crying and Karla not in the apartment.
"Markonah, where is Karla?" he asked.
"Filming, Boss," answered Markonah innocently.
David took a deep breath, he shouldn't let Karla return to the entertainment world. Earlier, David gave permission because he hoped Karla would not abandon Davila.
"Yes, bring Davila to me, let me sleep her," said David to Tuti. Davila's babysitter immediately approached her master and gave Davila to David.
As if he knew that the one carrying was his Daddy. Davila's crying which had been shrill at first stopped and the tiny baby started to smile.
"Since earlier, Davila didn't want to drink her milk," reported Tuti, giving Davila a bottle of milk.
David nodded and immediately grabbed Davila's milk bottle and gave it to the tiny baby. Davila immediately sucked it greedily and it didn't take long for the milk to run out.
"It's drinkable," said David. Tuti just stared while scratching her head, which was not itchy.
"But, but earlier she refused, Sir."
"Maybe, Davi wants to be with her Mommy or Daddy, Boss," said Markonah.
"Do you really know, do you speak baby?" asked David, frowning.
"You can see, the proof is that you want to drink milk, want to sleep. Babies are sensitive, sir," said Markonah.
In his heart, David confirmed Markonah's words, but he didn't say much anymore and chose to take Davila into the room. After putting Davila to sleep in her crib, David went into his own room.
Suddenly, he thought of Amelia. "If at that time Amelia was pregnant with my child, by now my child is almost a year old," muttered David. He took a deep breath, he suddenly felt that he had become a very bad person.
David's reverie stopped when the door to his room opened and Karla stepped inside. David immediately folded his arms across his chest and glared at Karla.
"Do you know what time it is ?!" snapped David. Karla turned and nodded casually.
"I know, it's nearly twelve at night, then?"
David stared at Karla's answer. He wanted to slap this woman in front of him, but no, David is not a man who likes to play rough.
"You know Davila cries and doesn't want to sleep, doesn't want to drink milk. I don't forbid you to shoot, but, remember your obligations as a mother!" exclaimed David angrily.
"You have no right to stop me, Dave. We have a letter of agreement, and again you are not my husband who can arrange this and that as you wish. If you want me to comply, marry me legally!" replied Karla not wanting to lose ..
David felt slapped, he realized what Karla said was right. What kind of life is he currently creating? Maybe it would be good if he followed Patricia's words to get married, but not Karla.
"Even if I want to get married, not with you Karla."
David's words came out emotionless, but they were so painful for Karla. She looked at David in disbelief, but, for Karla it was pretty clear now. In fact, it is very clear that between them only created a romance business, and mutualism symbiosis.
Without saying much, Karla went straight into the bathroom to wash her face. After that, without looking back, she immediately lay down on the bed and in just a few minutes the woman was asleep.

That afternoon David excitedly picked up Patricia at the airport. She really hoped that her cousin would bring good news.
When he saw Patricia's figure, he immediately waved his hand.
"I'm honored, my super busy cousin who picked me up straight to the airport," said Patricia mockingly.
"Don't make fun of it, what about Jasmine? She agrees?"
Patricia glared, "Dave, can you have a little bit of good morals? I was only until you've been bombarding me with such and such questions," Patricia grumbled.
"I wonder how?"
Patricia chuckled, David was irreversible.
"Jasmine is willing to accept cooperation with you on many conditions."
"Anything, you tell her what I will do?"
"That's why she wants to, Jasmine asked for a complete apartment unit for her to live in. She wants to have her own team that she chooses, starting from the make-up team, backing vocals, music players, and what each song she will sing has to match. whatever she wants. She has the right to refuse if she doesn't feel comfortable with the lyrics or arrangements. "
"Only that?"
Patricia shook her head quickly. "She also wants the costume she wears according to what she wants and the designer she chooses herself."
"I can't manage at all?"
"At all?"
"Yes, but she also doesn't want to be arbitrary. If what she chooses is not in accordance with our management, we can discuss it."
"Deal!"
Patricia patted her forehead, feeling a pounding inside her heart. How about when David met with Amelia later. Would David have realized if it was Amelia.
But, Patricia had promised Amelia to help her. "When is she coming?" asked David.
"Prepare all the facilities for her first!" Patricia ordered.
"I'll get it ready as soon as possible," David said with a smile. He couldn't wait to get everything ready for Jasmine.
"The apartment unit that I gave to Amelia, would Jasmine want to live in it?" said David.
"The apartment is decent enough, however, I'll first convey this to Jasmine."
"I'll prepare the apartment in advance," said David.
Patricia squinted at David.
"You seem like you are preparing a future wife," Patricia commented.
"Talking about a future wife, maybe I will start thinking about finding a future wife. But, she must be able to accept Davila, because Karla and I have an agreement. Karla will not bother taking care of Davila if we are separated."
Patricia frowned, "Married?" she asked.
"Yes, married. I plan to get married."
Patricia burst out laughing at once, "I was only gone for a few days, then you suddenly had thoughts of getting married. Have you found Amelia and are going to marry her?"
"Amelia? Are you crazy? Have you met her yet? Two days ago Karla came home late, and she didn't care at all when I scolded. She said I didn't have the right to arrange her. That what we are now living is just a symbiosis of mutualism," said David irritably. .
Patricia patted David on the shoulder, "Then, let Karla go. Let her seek her own happiness, if she does find happiness with other people, you can't hold on to it."
"But ...."
"If you have a hard time letting it go, marry her," said Patricia.
"She does not!"
"Whatever, I'm already dizzy with the work affairs that you delegate to me, don't tell me to take care of your love problems."
