The two men garnered a collective array of stares, for it was not uncommon to see homeless around here, however it was still an unpleasant sight, especially one that was so detached from society they neglected to wash even in the rain.
They had ordered their food and began a patient wait, the man named Christopher Miller unlocked his firmly shut jaws to breath in slightly, his face darkened as a stretch of shadows reached to his chest.
His nose whistled and he told the man before him, "Luke, I'm sorry about what happened"
Luke chuckled before replying, "no need for such words"
Miller still bared a stern look that spread across his face, he reached once again into his pocket before pulling out a sheen sheet of paper, he slid it across the table towards Luke.
Luke caught it with one hand before it could even enter his field of peripheral vision, he slid it back across the table towards Miller instantaneously, it flew with such ferocity that it had bleached table, voiding the path it took from its colour, now that laid was a white streak.
