After having an overdose of a Jupiter banquet, the adventurers were in the mood for some adventures. You must have found what they desired. Yes, it is! They are going to go on a sea adventure today.
All of them parted ways in finding a boat or any similar structure. Dan and Camb mounted Hadrian and rode east. It was quite a rocky beach in the east and southeast. There were numerous planks over there, which was the sign of boats. But the problem is that - there are no boats at all. The planks are no longer than Dan's (newly found) shotgun. Hence, boats or rafts can't be made on it.
On the other hand, Fayette and Marcus proceeded into the northwest. They can't move west as there's the conifer forest. The west was much more opposite to the east and the southeast. It was sandy coast, with lots of coconut trees. There were many fallen ones as well. Their great worry is that they could not find a single piece of wood, exception for the coconut trees. Coconuts trees aren't that stronger and spruce trees weren't good as well, as they were very damp (because it drizzled last midnight). Marcus neighed in an affronted tone.
In the west, Camb found a plant which, being there, wasn't normal for him. They were BAMBOOS and NOT just any other bamboo, a JUNGLE BAMBOO which is very strong - the best for rafting. Dan swung his sword in the air and started breaking the bamboo off the rocky soil. It took quite a lot of time though.
Here, in the northwest, Fayette found lots of utilities which may be useful a lot. She got strings, a large coconut frond, and a few torches. She loaded them on Marcus using her spells and they made their way to the meeting point.
They waited for about half an hour for Dan to come. Till then, they had to wait there, under the boring, yet familiar coconut trees. They saw Dan arrive in the distance, bringing a stack of long bamboo sticks transported by Hadrian.
They planned with their materials to make a goof raft. Dan has got a lot of bamboo, hence a big raft can be made. They placed about 25 bamboos adjacent to each other and tied them at three ends - front, rear and middle, with strings extremely tight. They tied the bamboo with two strings to ensure maximum tightness. Meanwhile, they boiled 7 bamboo sticks for a few minutes. This is to make bamboo bendable. They bent it into a tunnel-like shape which was large enough for a bear to walk into.
They then placed the bamboo tunnel onto the raft and double-tied it with strings tightly. Inside, they set up the bed and a lamp. It looked pretty adorable. Now, they made a box-shaped raft which looked like a trolley. For this, they used some dry spruce wood which they went and found in the west later. The top had a roof and a gate-like structure fitted. This was for the horses and it will be attached to the raft with ropes, not strings. The ropes were made from coconut leaves which, Fayette told, were stronger than glue and tape combined.
Now, the raft is ready! For finishing, Dan used the last bamboo stick left to make the mast of the raft. He had an unused silky towel, which was the sails.
It was sunset now, though at night time the sharks would be on the prowl, Fayette explained to Dan that they have to cross the SEA. Yes, you're correct, it's a massive sea that they have to cross to get to the other end of Cabro.
Fayette used her magic spells and pushed the raft into the sea. The raft floated like foliage on the sea. They boarded the raft along with the horses and their utilities. Long before Dan could close the door, the raft was blown into the air. Dan was all wet, but swam to the front end and boarded the raft. The sunset was pretty awesome - the sun went below the horizon. Nature's beauty was never so good for Dan before...
