Nobody knows that their life would change after the birth of the graceful horse...
Morning came. It was as though the sun was wishing them goodbye. Williams insisted Dan eat breakfast in his house. Dan denied it, but later he changed his mind and ate there. It was a simple breakfast, a bread sandwich.
Dan and Williams packed everything. Williams had taken care of him like his relative. Dan gave the horses some hay before travelling. At 8 am, Dan waved to Williams, at the same time driving his carriage. In a few moments, the carriage was out of sight.
"He's a good playmate, daddy.", told the children. Williams agreed to it and never forget that funny boy.
So we'll stop his story right here. As he came down the street, the houses, he could see, were full of happiness. Many people were enjoying their new year on the balconies, in the rose gardens, in the forum, and in the ordinary stalls.
Time went fast, and they soon left the village. The horses walked with vitality. Dan and Fayetteenjoyed the scenery. The sun came down and shined on the snowy, lifeless ground as if it's trying to fuel life into the bodies of everyone. He still found houses, which belongs to tea planters. There were gardens of tea around them, and the aroma swept into their noses, activating their mood. Dan was very experienced in horse riding and in steering a horse cart. His father, Christopher Wristhotch, made him ride on horses at the Ambrecort hill station from the age of 3. "All of these skills and bravery", he would often say, "are attained by my father. He's a real aid for me in finishing my pursuit."
They had packed everything but had to finish one work. Dan's swords and daggers have become blunt and a bit rusty. He wants to give them to a bladesmith to repair them. "I could take the swords, Dan. I would use my magic. Just give the work to me." told Fayette. In that time Dan could pack the sailing boat.
They reached the town as they spoke about these things. Fayette took the swords to a bladesmith who a two miles away from the boat, as they got to know from a villager. Fayette went for the bladesmith.
Dan opened the so-called "goods trapdoor" in the boat. He can do this only from a special dock designed for vehicles. It's the vehicle dock. He slowly pushed them in.
"Is anyone in there? (peeps for the road) Oh yes! (finds a villager trolling around) Sir, could you help me push my carriage into that white boat. Hope you don't mind, do you?"
The villager agreed to help. They both pushed it slowly. Dan stood inside the boat at the other end while the villager pushed the carriage. Dan was grateful to him. After doing his work, the villager went down the street.
Meanwhile, a stray dog's chasing Fayette. "AAAAAAAA!" She shrieked out of fear. She yelled so cutely you would have thought she was a baby girl. Fayette hates being called a baby, by the way. "You idiotic dog! See my magic before you could attack me!" She did some magic. 'Hocus Pocus Dog becomes Jokus!"
Nobody in there knew what's a jokus, though they knew amateur level magic. It's maybe a fairy's spell. Anyways, the dog became a joker, with sticky arrows on his back. He was so astounded. He ran away, purring like a wound cat.
Fayette rushed up with her swords. It was Saturday, and there was a great amount of crowd in the market. Fayette dashed on traders, town-dwellers, shopkeepers, customers, guards and even cows! 'I'm sorry! Pardon me! It's an emergency! Wee-you! Wee-you! Wee-you! Wee-you! Wee-you!" She made emergency sounds to clear the chaos.
If Dan ever saw these, he would've given a good whack to her. Fairies are mischievous, no doubt.
Anyways, she managed to get to the bladesmith's workshop. She gasped before him and the skilled bladesmith started pointing the blades.
Meanwhile...Dan has brought his horses, Hadrian and Marcus into the boat. Both neighed after they came to a stop. He gave both of them some carrots and cabbages he got from the New Year market festival. They ate happily. Hadrian is a younger stallion and Marcus is an old one. Both of them ran fast, regardless of their ages.
Dan loaded some important goods from the carriage such as a bag full of maps, books and other sorts of things like those weather instruments.
As he came on top of the boat using a staircase on the other side of the deck, he was just in time to see Fayette coming down the street, with a confident facial expression.
Fayette gave him the swords. The swords cut well, as Dan tested them with melons, bamboo sticks and pineapples. He put all of the fruits in an icebox. It was noon by now. They ate some fish for dinner. Dan gave a raw one for Camb, but he denied it. Then he gave the fish bones. He ate them with great delight.
Now, it's time to set sail. They closed the deck and went for the captain's room. There, Dan hoisted the sails and the flag. Dan starts the boat. The boat could control the force of the wind, so they could control speed. He kept it at a normal speed. He blew a horn. They saw the boat move from the empty dock near that famous Reynolds Inn. Dan and Fayette chorused:
"Goodbye, Gorrion."
It's time to move on to Bajista, fight the enemies there, and go to their last destination aka the keyhole of Aquilla aka The Royal Castle of Aquilla. Dan was excited about this new chapter of his journey. The boat goes very smooth. He likes the quality of the boat. Lake Tennyson seemed to be wishing for Dan's upcoming. So does the Inn, the sun and the whole of Gorrion. Let us too wish Dan for his adventures.
