Chapter 12 - The strange monk..

General feng burst into the chamber to see this scene. Mei lin was lying on the bed unmoving and a little maid was holding a bundle of swaddling clothes. He couldn't see the baby. He tried to enter the room but it seemed a barrier was blocking him. Damn it. He cursed. Pulling his sword, he strucked the barrier only to fail to break it. He looked on in dispair as blinding light filled the room. Mei lin's body disappeared and what was left in place was a blinding blue light. It divided into two parts. One part went to the sleeping baby as the other one flew somewhere else.

General feng screamed in rage as he watched the secret of the lin clan flying into that useless baby. The barrier narrowed. He picked up his sword to strike again. Qing er wrapped her arms around Eleanor as she inched back

The little five year old's eyes were filled with killing intent as she calmly watched General feng trying to break through her mistress's barrier.

All of a sudden, a crack in space opened as an old monk popped out of it, he took qing er in his arms as he looked at the baby in her arms. He knocked the little maid out. He laughed when he saw the pink flame mark on the baby's forehead.

General Feng does not know what he is loosing. He casually smiled as he looked at general feng.

"this baby here will not be able to control her rage and end up killing you when she sees you. I have to send her to train. I will bring her back when she turns 7."he then entered the space and nonchalantly closed it..

General feng screamed in rage. That bitch mei lin, she died with the secret. But as he thought about the second ball of light, he revealed a sinister smile as he got up slowly heading towards the dawn courtyard where Feng ming, mei lin's first daughter lived. Coming across the maid that told him the news and looking at the seductive smile on her face, he raised his sword and beheaded her. His sword turned the maid into ashes. The ashes flew away never to be found again .
