Après avoir reçu un message de Rin ASHIBA, la fille dont il est amoureux, Sora ISOSHI se rend dans une salle de classe de son lycée où Rin lui avait demandé de le rencontrer. Mais lorsqu'il arrive dans la salle de classe, il se retrouve seul. Pensant à une blague, il sort de la salle, mais une fois dehors, dans ce qui devrait être le couloir de son lycée, il voit à la place une grande pièce blanche où, assise sur un trône au fond de la pièce, se trouve Rin ASHIBA. Elle lui explique qu'il a été choisi par la Tour pour tenter de l'escalader et devenir son nouveau roi. Mais n'étant pas né dans ce monde, il n'a pas la capacité d'utiliser ce que tous les habitants de la planète sont capables d'utiliser, l'Ushi. Sora va donc se voir attribuer un étrange pouvoir. Un pouvoir avec lequel il va essayer de grimper la Tour, en essayant de répondre au souhait de Rin et ainsi devenir le nouveau Roi de la Tour.

I learned later that the peaceful city I was living till today is now in an apocalyptic situation. Demonic creatures were running rampant causing chaos to the land. Using my System, I will survive in this apocalypse.

This little book, this short collection of short stories, wasn't made to conquer the world. It was created to send a message, to reach people, to whisper in their ears with just one short phase: "I exist". All these stories hace just that in common, that whisper.

In these dreams, individuals faced a choice between a regular dream or a nightmare. In a regular dream, they experienced safety but had a mere five days to live in the real world before succumbing to death. While choosing nightmare, granted them enhanced strength and an extended stay in the real world if they manage to keep their lives. However, failing to survive in the nightmare resulted in a transformation into dangerous creatures known as Catalyst creatures. Regrettably, Murky did not possess mutated genes, leading to his abandonment, mockery, and loss of privileges. His fiancé willingly left him, and even his mother turned her back on him, displaying affection solely towards his half-brother, who was not her biological son. For numerous years, he endured threats, abuse, manipulation, and mistreatment. Even his influential family refused to assist him, leaving him ill-prepared to confront the infected dream that would transform him into a Catalyst creature if he failed. However, when he fell ill and experienced the dream, he realized that the dreams were not set in prehistoric times but were, in fact, popular movies from his previous life. Armed with knowledge gained from those movies, could this be his chance for revenge?
