It was the call of the crying lamb, begging, praying to save them from the clutches of these deranged wolves. It was already night-time, and Lily the Nekomata enjoyed her 'date' with her host. She's bundled up and fast asleep in her room with a satisfied and cheery smile on her face. Meanwhile in Siegfried's room...
The Reaper will begin his first Op in over a month. He was lying in his bed, contemplating the decision he made this day. For many years he was trained and taught not to let his emotions get the better of him but he didn't. For he didn't realize that he let his emotions take control. He didn't recognize that it was the doing of his emotions.
(What the hell am I doing? Why did I do that? I don't understand... Was it... the right thing? I'm used to insults directed at me, and simply ignored them but... why? Why did I react so violently when they insulted Lily?) as he mutters to himself while lying on his bed, he looked at a clock in his room and grunts. "Ah. It's time."
The mission: To rescue a kidnapped group of Satyr sub-species known as Pans. A Far-Eastern branch of the Knights of Night's squad has requested back-up due to the rest of their Knights out on separate missions. The Tokyo police force has discovered what seemed to be a small-time monster/human trafficking rig near the abandoned factories in the downtown forested area down in Shibuya. Due to the law that was passed, the police were unable to intervene and passed it to the Far-Eastern Branch of the Knights of Night Organization to handle it for them. It was a delicate and critical situation and thus the Director herself decided to send in Siegfried to assist on the matter, and it was also a scouting mission, to see if there was more to it than the info that was given to them. Siegfried was in the bathroom looking at himself in the mirror, he took off his shirt, and removed the Skin-Replicants of his body, he peeled off a portion on his left side near his neck and revealed a roman numeric II on it. And took off another Skin-replicant, this time on his left eye. And a scar was revealed underneath. After doing his business he walked out of the bathroom and towards the bookshelves as there was a hidden button underneath it, he pressed it and the bookshelf retracted, slid away from him, and revealed a large secret storage area with LED lights showing the room where he keeps his gear. A mannequin was standing in the center wearing his Knights of Night uniform; a Special Ops variant edition, dubbed The Nightcrawler Suit. It consisted of a flexible but durable black-and-red coat with a hoodie on top, with red thorns in a crawling spiral pattern across the sleeves. A black specially-made shirt with a black leather armor vest on top of it with black leather gloves on its hand and, the pants were of simple design, black trousers with red streaks across the legs, in addition to that there were twin black strippable leather gun holsters that were strapped on the side of his pants. The footwear was made out of a top-secret material made and developed by the Organization, incredibly light and surprisingly durable as well. The design was a standard black high-cut Military style boot that covers the lower portion of his trousers and finally the cherry on top of the suit; a modified metallic black mask that covered his whole face. Its overall color is primarily black with red accents on it. On the side of the mannequin displayed a short metal shaft. He gazed at his uniform and sighed at himself. He donned the Reaper Mask and flung the tail of his coat and grabbed his staff. He swung out his arm, and the metal shaft extended and twirled his staff around. As he swung at the last moment, he channeled his innate energy and it ignited a large and long Plasma Scythe blade and a smaller blade at the back, and at a tip was a small plasma point. It glowed a menacingly red color in the dim room as if it was thirsty for blood. On the side of where he puts his staff, it displayed two high-caliber handguns called Phobos and Deimos.
Phobos is a customized M1911 Pistol with a bigger bore and longer barrel, to accommodate the .50cal Action Express bullet, it weighs approximately around 12kg or 26Ibs, and the other one; Deimos is one the KON's finest engineering, a Machine Pistol capable of releasing 850 rounds per minute. These guns were equipped with either Armor Piercing rounds or Anti-Personnel hollow points for maximum tissue damage. One is semi-automatic for precision and clean shots and the other for spray-and-pray and no time to aim.
"Phobos and Deimos..." He looked at the guns and caressed them and inspected them. (The shine's losing, I need to polish you two again.) He tried to pick Phobos, but struggled to do so, and realized that he agreed for him to blend in human society.
And his Scythe called Death Sentence is a weapon he crafted himself given guidance by his Master. Weapons thought only to exist in Sci-Fi worlds turned into reality.
"Death Sentence..." As he opened the window in his room the moon in all its glory was glowing a warm and soft light to him. But he has no form of mechanical transportation at the moment but he decided to use his legs he turned off his Limiter and stretched, pulled up his sleeve, and tinkered with his silver bracelet, "Releasing level 1 of my limiter." Then in his mask, a robotic voice said, "Accepted." The interface of his mask glowed green, "Granted. Limiter Level 1 has been removed. Granted duration of removed Limiter: 6 hours." A small portion of his true strength coursed on his body, as his suit's accents glowed red, as his strength was temporarily returned, and looked at his hands and took a deep breath, and exhaled.
He then went up to the hidden compartment and easily lifted Phobos where he had difficulty before, and he inspected it further, on the side of the barrel it has a strange and otherworldly scripture translated:
"Through the Dark, shelter me" and on another side, it continued, "...from the searing Light."
As he's making the final adjustments on his black leather gloves. The Reaper was all set and ready.
He shortened and strapped his scythe on his back, grabbed Deimos and holstered it, and did some exercises to warm his muscles up. Now he's on the move he leaped from the window of his room. As he leaped to a neighbor's house and continued to leap from house to house with such speed and precision it was similar to Ninjas and Kunoichi of ancient Japan.
He was advancing to his destination, anxious to complete his mission. The rendezvous point was already at the Abandoned Complexes, Downtown. As he was approaching the downtown area, he silently and stealthily leaped from place to place, area to area. And finally arriving at the heart of the city, the bustling Tokyo city area, he was already at the top of a tall building's ledge, silently gazing down on the loud, crowded, and car-filled streets below. He bear witness to the beautiful night-time city lights and sighed as he was casually standing and squatting at the ledge of that building and removed his mask trying to catch his breath while the strong gusts of winds blew and flapped his coat. He spotted the next building to jump to and leaped to it then landed with a safety roll like it was a 3-foot drop.
He continued his run and leaped again on another building and another building. He leaped from building to building and landed on the streets near the Abandoned Complexes at the rendezvous point. His personal communicator dictates where the current location of the other Knights.
Meanwhile at the rendezvous point... three knights were patiently waiting for the arrival of the reinforcement. "Hey." Said the knight. "Is he really gonna come here?" as he yawned in the evening sky. "The Captain said he will." Said the other. "I hope he will be worth the wait goddammit. Those Pans are waiting for us to rescue them." Cried by the second one. "I agree, this might be a small Human/Monster Trafficking Rig, but we can't make a single mistake." Grunted by the third one. "But still... this place is heavily surrounded by a forested area. Who knows what'll come out of it..."? As he said that a bush was rustling nearby. They were startled and drew their weapons. "Who's out there!?" shouted the first one. "Show yourself!" yelled the third one. In the darkness of the trees, a piercing red orb of light appeared beneath the trees and was creepily coming towards them. The situation was tense. These three newly graduated knights were completely green and inexperienced in the field of actual combat and rescue, sure they had training but were they ready? Idealistic and had a knack but were greenhorns nonetheless. They aimed their guns at the glowing red orb and the first one said: "We will shoot if you do not identify yourself within the next three seconds!"
Then a voice echoed in their heads, "Is this how you treat your reinforcement? With threats of being shot at?" and one of the Knights recruits yelled out, "What the hell!? W-Who said that?"
And beneath the tree lines, a figure slowly crept towards them, its shadow flickered like fire, "Wait, hold your weapons!" said the second one. "Are you...?" She gulped, "the guest?" she said while putting away her firearm. The red orb finally came out of the shrubs and trees and was revealed to be Knight as well albeit with heavily modified armor, "That is correct." and presented his badge.
"Both the Head Director and the Director of the Far-Eastern Branch have sent me to aid you." The Knight simply sighs and telepathically said, "New graduates, eh?" the one who yelled out first, a human male said, "Um, y-yes!"
"Practically shaking in fear when you all were aiming your guns." He came closer to them and revealed who he was. "The Reaper reporting for duty."
He saluted at the three knights and the three saluted back. "Sir! I apologize for drawing our weapons against you! Please, forgive us!" he got on the ground, knelt, and begged for his forgiveness, but the Reaper said nothing, he gestured to the two others to get him up. And said, "Captain?" and one of them said, "Uphead, come with us." While they were walking in the woods. The three knights showed led the way to their current field base. 500 meters away showed the Abandoned Complexes; only one building was housing the kidnapped Pans. 300 meters to the east side of the target building shows a medium-sized delivery truck, albeit with modified looks and features with a rundown and rusty look and the Knights of Night insignia on the sides. "Here we are, sir." Led by the second Knight they were able to reach the Mobile Command Post safely. "Where's the captain?" said the second knight. "Ah, he's probably asleep in the back." Replied the first knight, they went around the truck and radioed the Captain inside. "Captain? Come in, captain. The cavalry has already arrived sir." After a few seconds of silence, the captain responded with a groan. "Ahh, very good. Where are you three right now?" with a confused look on her face she answered the question seriously. "Um, at the side of the truck sir." The truck door suddenly opened at the side and a person jumped out of it. He looks like in his late20s, he had long black hair that's tied with a rubber band and the Captain uniform of the Knights of Night. "Ah, hello, I'm Captain Kanji Fujiwara, of the 7th Reconnaissance and Scouting Division, an honor to meet you." As he held out his hand for a handshake. Siegfried merely stared at the gesture for a few seconds and telepathically said, "Enough with the formalities, Captain. The sooner we are done, the better." The captain put away his hands and spoke. "Oh, um, yes, sir. Uh, by the way, did my precious subordinates introduced to you yet?" as he looked at the trio and they whistled. "Like I said it's not necessa—!" The captain ignored and interrupted whatever Siegfried was trying to say and he forced his subordinates to introduce themselves. "All right, introduce yourselves to our guest." The knights removed their helmets and the first one said. "I'm Knight Yosuke Yamanaka, a human, 17 years old. It's an honor to make your acquaintance sir!" the captain smiled cheerfully and continued with the introduction. "I'm Knight Rachel Dragonblood, a Dragonewt, 160 years old, an honor to meet The Reaper!" The captain nodded and gestured to the third one to introduce as well. "I-I am uh, um, Knight Daevael Lilia, an incubus, 16 years old. It's nice to meet you."
As they finished their introduction, the Reaper informed them, "After this mission, you four never saw me, is that clear?" the greenhorn trio gulped in fear, and Davael asked, "W-Why is that s-sir?" he glanced at the young incubus, "You'll know, soon enough. Even if you tell it to your friends; they'll never believe you." They gulped, and the Captain simply clapped to garner their attention, "All right, all right! Time to plan."
They went on to share their information with the Reaper. "All right, this ring could be a newly set trafficking rig part of a much bigger, more complex Trafficking system. It's our job to rescue them." As he relayed the info to Siegfried, he asked a question. "How many Pans are we looking at here?" Rachel looked at him and spoke. "Our estimation is looking at least 6 to 12 Pans. After we rescue them, we'll request for additional backup at HQ to handle the transport of the kidnapped Pans." Siegfried nodded and spoke. "This is a terrorist group, right? The Moonlight Fang. I have a question." The captain and the others looked at the Reaper expectantly. "Yeah? What is it?" replied the Captain. "Are we going to arrest them or kill them?" the captain has a shocked look on his face when he said that. "N-No! HQ strictly ordered us to only arrest them. No killing. Uh, sir..."
The Reaper sighed. He relented and then agreed to the condition of no killing. "Very well. All I have to do is knock them out, right?"
"Yeah, that's it. Knock them out." Confirmed by the captain the operation has finally begun. "After the victims have been discovered, escort them back here to the truck. Count each of the enemies you encounter, got it? I'll provide radio assistance, and I'll guide you along the building." "Yes sir!" confirmed the four of them. "Also, take these." He handed a bunch of small pods; tracking devices to the four, and Siegfried said, "To make things simple for you three, I'll handle the combat and discovery of the Pans." He continued, "I'll leave a tracking device on each of the groups of Pans I encounter, got it?" The three greenhorn knights looked at each other with worried looks. "Um, are you sure, sir?" said Rachel. "You three will only get in my way." He bluntly said, "I'll give you three the opportunity to handle the escorting. I'll be too busy fighting off the threat inside." Without a moment's hesitation, he leaped high and climbed onto the side of the apartment and onto the fifth floor. He landed at the side of a huge glass panel on the side of the building. "Commencing operation."
He grabbed his scythe, ignited it, and sliced the glass into square shapes, then he kicked it down, and shattered the glass in the process. Luckily there was no one there to hear the shattering glass. He leaped inside, deactivated his scythe, and activated the night-vision feature on his mask. The mask itself has built-in thermal vision and x-ray vision to make locating the targets a breeze. At the same time, he activated the thermal vision and spotted a large heat source from the floor below him. And he picked up two small separate heat sources from the floor he's in. (Werewolves. I'll make quick work of them.) He silently and stealthily dashed from the room towards the hallway where the wolves are. Werewolves have a keen sense of smell like that of ordinary wolves as such they rely on scent not sight to track their targets. To counter this, he used a disguise scent ball made by the Organization for situations like these. He crushed the ball with his hand and gases filled the small area he was in. Now, within the cover of darkness and hidden by his scent. He's virtually invisible. A Werewolf guard was patrolling the hallway of the apartment and the Reaper was hiding a small pillar in a split-second, he grabbed the werewolf by the fur of his neck and karate chopped, leaving him unconscious. He was wielding a soviet-made AK-47, Siegfried noticed this and broke the gun and picked up the bullets, and remarked, (AK-47, type of bullet: 7.62 x 51mm rounds or NATO rounds) he hid the unconscious body in a large jar beside the pillar and placed a tracking device on him. He radioed the others for the info on the type of weapons they had. "Night Owls, come in, is anyone there? Come in." after a few static sounds the captain responded. "Yes? Hello? Come in Reaper. What is it?" he put together his words and spoke. "Its werewolves and the type of gun they have is a soviet-made AK-47. Relay that to the others." The captain grunted. "I'll inform the others immediately." And he glanced at the unconscious Werewolf, the captain remarked, "Radio again if you need anything." He grunted. Siegfried exhaled and left the call. He dashed to the corridor, onto the place that has the largest heat signatures. Most likely where the Pans are. Down the hallway was a guardrail down to the fourth floor. He jumped down and landed safely. Down the hall, to the last, there was a room he activated his thermal vision and x-ray vision. He found the first room where the Pans are being kept. While he crouched to the last room and he placed his ear on the wall he heard voices from inside the room. "No, please..." begged a Pan that was inside. A horrid laugh echoed through the room. "Aww, this'll be fun! We get to play with you before shipping your asses halfway across the world!" the Reaper upon hearing those words made his stomach sick. The voices continued speaking. "No! Please! We value our chastity more than anything else! Please, no!" shrieked in terror by the Pan. "Big Sis, no!" shrieked the other, presumably her little sister. "Come on, hurry up! Others are waiting for their turn!" yelled the other werewolf. "I count... 4 or 5 judging from these barking and growls." He whispered to himself. "Hahaha! First, I'll start with... YOU!" the Pan shrieked in terror for what was about to come. As he was about to do the bad deed, like Death he silently came up to his back without being seen and struck furious justice upon the werewolf. He struck the neck of the werewolf who was about to rape the Pan and the second, third and fourth were taken by surprise and didn't act on time. After he knocked out the first wolf he quickly moved on to the next and punched him in the stomach, disorienting him, grabbed his snout, and kneed him in the face. The third and fourth snapped out of their shock and attacked. He blended in the shadows as if he disappeared. His mask's eye glowed a red menacing glow in the dark the fear of the wolves grew stronger and froze from it. He seized the opportunity and strangled the fourth wolf by the neck and slammed him into the wall and dragged him into the darkness. The last wolf was looking around to avoid being surprised. (What the hell!? I can't see him nor smell him!"
"WH-WHO ARE YOU!?" yelled the wolf both from fear and frustration. "I'm not obliged to answer..." (Assassination technique, number 9: Othello's Mirror of Sorrow.) Then he came out of the cover of darkness, the werewolf grabbed the nearest AK-47, and then he faded away when he aimed. Then he appeared once more, then another and another one kept appearing. The clones charged at the wolf and the wolf covered himself. When the clones came into contact with him, they simply disappeared and he let his guard down. He steadily rose up and the Reaper was standing behind him waiting to let his guard down. He simply patted his shoulder and when he looked behind, he punched him in the face so hard it sent him flying eight feet across the room and followed by grabbing his head and slamming him onto the floor.
He found the light switch and flipped it. When the lights spread across the room it revealed the three Pans that were sitting on the floor, chained to the wall, half-naked, and viciously scared. And were shocked to see their captors lying on the floor unresponsive and out cold. "Um, w-who are you?" said the middle Pan, she was gorgeous and has white long semi-wavy hair, with a curvaceous and voluptuous body with a sheep's tail, horns, and hooves, with a scared and confused expression. Two other Pans were scared stiff at what almost happened to them also topless and half-naked. Siegfried walked up to them expressionlessly behind that mask. But on the inside, he was secretly relieved to have saved these Pans before something horrible happened to them. (Just in the nick of time...) He approached them silently and stood in front of them. The three pans looked at him with a mix of fear of dread. He took out his scythe and ignited it and prepared a slashing motion. The three Pans closed their eyes in fear waiting for them to be struck down. Then *Clink* they opened their eyes and their chains fell to the ground setting them free. He spoke, "We're the Knights of Night, and we came here to rescue you." The three Pans upon hearing those words broke down in tears that finally, someone, SOMEONE, have answered their prayers. The three Pans charged and hugged the Reaper causing them to collapse as a gesture of thanks, their bosoms squeezing into both his chest, back, and right arm. He thought nothing of it and politely asked the Pans to let go of him. He got up and explained that the others will escort them back safely to the ground. "Are there any more of you?" the Pans looked at each with worried looks and the middle one the one with the gorgeous looks said. "Sir Knight, there are five other Pans as well." She got on the ground, knelt, and begged him to rescue them. "Where are they?" the middle Pan paused and thinks for a second and spoke. "The lower levels, t-t-they're at the basement." She stuttered due to immense fear, "Please, save them!" The Reaper nodded and went to the exit, then one of the pans said. "Wait, what about these werewolves? What if they wake up and attack us?" Siegfried just grunted and simply said. "They won't. And besides, I'm not alone." As if by cue, the windows in the room suddenly shattered and three figures came in. "You're late." He scolded the trio. "Hehe, sorry sir. It took us a while to get a hold of your location." Explained by Rachel. The trio quickly introduced themselves to the victims, they assured them that they were their rescuers. "Take care of them for me." The trio saluted and obeyed his order. "Also..." "Yes, sir?" replied by Yosuke. "Cover them up and I'll cover your exits." They saluted, "Yes, sir!"
The Reaper sighs and went to the exit. To rescue more of the kidnapped Pans. He went to the end of the hallway and to the guardrail then leaped from it. As he was falling to the ground, two werewolf guards were having small talk. Then they heard a distant sound of flapping. "Hey. You hear that?" the other werewolf looked at him crazy and spoke. "Hear what? I ain't hearing anything." The other werewolf shut his mouth and listened to their surroundings. "It's getting closer... it's like above?" *CRASH*
The Reaper apathetically and casually landed on two werewolves all the way up to the 4th floor, knocking them out and maybe breaking a couple of bones. On the first floor of the lobby, a werewolf guard came out to check the source of the crashing sound. Siegfried quickly blended into the darkness and disappeared. The werewolf guard was not pleased with what he saw. He ran up to them checking if they were all right. He sniffed around and he discovered a smell of burned chains. He breathed in heavily and he howled to alert the others. But, as he was about to howl, Siegfried dashed in front of him, grabbed his snout, and pummeled his head onto the wall, passing him out cold. "That was a close one..." he quickly dragged the bodies to a dark place and placed a tracking device on them. At the path to the basement there were two choices, take the stairs or the elevator. The Reaper was feeling lazy to climb down a flight of stairs, so he decided to take the elevator down to the basement. He went to the elevator and pressed the basement button and at the bottom of the basement room six, werewolf guards were confused as there were ordered NOT to use the elevator. "Grr...! I thought everyone was told not to use the elevator!" cried the werewolf. "Rah! Everyone be on guard! My nose ain't telling me anything but my hunch is telling me it's an intruder." The group of werewolves was in position for a sweep. Three of them knelt and aimed their weapons while the others stood and anxiously waited for the elevator to arrive. A few tense seconds later. *DING*. The elevator finally arrived and the door opened and was revealed to be empty. No one was inside. Confused looks filled the faces of these werewolves and one of them gestured to the other to check it out. One of the werewolf guards went inside the elevator to see if anyone was hiding. Then the Reaper came down from the elevator ceiling and swiftly hit the napes of their neck, knocking them out instantly, and walked past the knocked-out wolves. (This number of guards is way too low... Is it a newly set rig?) He placed a tracking device on one of the wolves and proceeded to the room. He activated his thermal vision to see if there was anyone else nearby. As he was scanning his surroundings, he picked up a source of heat signatures in the farthest room in the basement.
He radioed the captain on the Rust Bucket. "Captain. Do you read me?" static noises and he finally responded. "Yeah. I'm reading you. Good work on finding the first batch. Are there more?" he was catching his breath first before he responded. "Yes, there are. This is strange, the amount guards here are minimal than I originally estimated." As explained by the Reaper, "Well..." scowled the captain. "The police did say that it was a small-time trafficking ring. Perhaps, it's newly set up. If this is a major rig then there would be more goons, thugs, and cronies, right?" He nodded in agreement, "Perhaps. Also, I'm about to hit the last of the captives, relay that to the other three, and prepare to request reinforcements from HQ." Captain Fujiwara nodded, "Got it, be careful." He disconnected, as he arrived at the targeted room, he crouched and placed his ear on the wall to estimate how many there are. "Snoring?" taken aback by Siegfried. He activated the x-ray vision and scanned for any signs of life and activity. He carefully opened the door and went inside. He saw three guards and one of them was fast asleep. He saw a cage where the ground and littered with wheat straws and hay, a trough of water, and beds made of hay. A dehumanizing display as several Pans was locked up inside a cage, barely having any space, let alone comfort. "Disgraceful... Absolutely disgraceful." The Reaper snuck around, keeping silent and unseen, there he saw a sleeping guard and two others with automatic weapons by their side, then their walkie-talkies activated with static noises, "Anyone! Come in, we're under attack! Anyone! We're currently under attack!" the others woke up and readied themselves, "By who!?" replied the first werewolf guard, "I don't know but several others ain't responding, you and the others gotta—!" then it was abruptly, "H-Hey! Hey! Shit!"
"I suggest you three surrender now." Spooked they looked around in fear, "W-Who said that?!" Then they heard an echo of footsteps from across the room, and they all aimed their guns at the approaching figure and opened fire, he immediately ducked for cover; behind the cement pillars. The sound of gunfire reverberated in the room, and the bullets hit the cement pillar, "Wait, where are the others?!" Growled one of the guards, "They ain't respondin'!" Growled back by another, "Kill him! I have a feeling it's a Knight!" then the Reaper readied Phobos and the ensuing firefight continued and momentarily ceased, there he seized his chance, but one of them went inside the cage and took one of them, hostage. "No! No! Let me go! Let me go!" struggled one of the Pans inside. The Pan was a little girl, who was barely around 10 years old, she was wearing a tattered dress, her skin grimy, and her eyes full of fear.
The Werewolf pulled out a pistol and maliciously grinned, "We were expecting your kind to appear here! I don't know what you did to the others, but you won't leave this place alive, you fucking bastard!" Howled by the apparent sub-boss, "Show yourself, or else the little girl gets it!" The Reaper had no choice but to show himself forward, "Hands in the air, asshole!" he laughed cruelly as their attacker exposed himself so openly, "Fuck are you supposed to be?" He said nothing. The three laughed, "Not speakin' eh?!" and one of them gave the order, "Kill him." the other two opened fire upon Siegfried, and he took every shot and collapsed. "No!" Yelled the little Pan.
After emptying their entire mags on them, one of them inspected the body, and as he approached the body, it started to melt into the ground. "Wait, what the hell!?" yelled in surprise one of the wolves, then one of them who was beside the sub-boss, suddenly yelled, "Boss, behind you!" he looked into his right arm, and in a split second, he saw a flash of red light, and the next second, he saw his arm lying on the ground.
The sub-boss yelled in intense pain, and pushed the little Pan away from him, "Grah! M-my arm!" the guards acted too late as the Reaper sheathed Death Sentence, and he flipped into the air, the Reaper in midair, drew out Phobos, and fired four rounds; he aimed where they're holding their firearms and causing them to drop their weapons, disarming them, and shooting them in their legs, crippling them. Now the tables have turned, and he was the one holding them at gunpoint, "Surrender. We have orders to capture you" and of them said, "We!?" and he repeated, "Yes, we."
Then suddenly, the ground was shaking, helicopter sounds were faint but audible, and sounds of heavy footsteps echoed through the staircase, the little Pan then covered her head in fear, and the Reaper called her over, "Hey kid, come over here." She hesitated obviously frozen in fear from the current situation, her legs felt like noodles and her stomach turned upside-down, and went she looked up she was also afraid of his scary appearance, then he knelt down and held out his hand, "I won't hurt you." Reassured the Reaper and finally, she ran to him for comfort and protection, "M-Mister! A-Are you here to save us?" as she looked up at him, and he was still holding those werewolves at gunpoint, he said, "I am. I'm here to save all of you." and then the door was blasted away by a battering ram. And the little pan held tightly to the Reaper's uniform, and Siegfried decided to carry her in his arms, then finally, The Knight of Nights Far-Eastern branch's forces finally arrived.
They secured the perimeter and surrounded the area, and rescued the Pans. The knights saluted, "Thank you, sir. We'll take it from here." He saluted back, and they handcuffed the werewolves, they brought in a stretcher and carried the dismembered werewolf out of the area along with the other two.
The Knight of Nights reinforcements timing couldn't be any better, they have arrested the werewolves that were part of the monster trafficking ring and rescued the kidnapped Pans. No humans thankfully.
The Reaper, as he went outside he carried the young Pan with him who was burying her face into his shoulder. "Shhh... You're safe now." As they were going up to the surface. He realized that the young Pan, fell asleep, there a medical responder ran up to Siegfried and offered to take the young Pan off his hands, "Take care of her. Please." The medic nodded, "Yes sir!" and carried the young Pan out to the nearest medical assistance vehicle.
He saw many of the werewolves he knocked out being arrested and escorted to the detainee van. He went out of the building and saw the rundown truck with the Captain and trio waiting on it. "Hey! Hey, sir!" Yosuke yelled at the side of the truck. He approached the Captain and the trio, their faces filled with satisfaction and contentment. The Captain saluted at Siegfried. "Good work, sir. I hope we get to work together again sometime in the future." He nodded. "You three..." The trio saluted. "Yes sir!" He sighed, "You three are still greenhorns after all. But still, good work." They looked at each other with contentment, "We will sir!" yelled Yosuke. "I... don't dislike the effort of you three pulled. You three did well." Then Daevael fidgeted, "Uh, sir?" he glanced at him, "Hm?" Yosuke gave him a nudge, "Go on, report it to him!" and Daevael said, "We escorted the three Pans from the first batch safely. And..." he paused, "And...?" he finished the rest of his report, "When they were safely escorted, you know the gorgeous one with the long white hair and curvaceous body, she said: 'When you see the Angel of Death, tell him he has our thanks and eternal gratitude for he has answered the Lambs' Prayer.'" He grunted, "I see..." As he sat down to take a break, "Anyway. It's still too early for me to leave. So, I'll aid in the search and rescue. You three are welcome if you wish to help." Daevael interjected, "Oh no, we're recruits and all. This was originally planned if we discovered there were no captives here, we would bail out. But, almost one-tenth of the Organization's forces are here. So, we'd probably get in the way." He nodded in agreement, he rose up and saluted to the trio once more, and they saluted at the Reaper back. He continued in his aid of busting the rig. Total hours of Operation: 7. The initial operation started at 11:00 PM and ended at 1:00 AM. The second phase of the search lasted for over 5 hours. The plan was actually to confirm the existence of the Human/Monster Trafficking Rig. When the Reaper discovered the captive Pans. Captain Fujiwara called in almost a tenth of the Far-Eastern Branch's forces to rescue any victims and arrest any those who were plotting or aiding the trafficking ring due to the Knight's continued searching for any criminals that hid within the other complexes and other species. It turned out to be a medium-sized Monster Trafficking Rig, that was possibly conducted and connected by the Moonlight Fang. The arrested culprits will provide valuable information about anything relating to their operation and criminal organization should the Org interrogate them. The news the next morning brought in the exclusive report of the incident. The Reaper played a major role in busting that rig.

Subject: Human/Monster Trafficking.
"Although human trafficking is a prevalent crime that is remained hidden from the watchful eye of justice. It's nothing new to us that monsters are being secretly trafficked as well, especially back when they were still kept a secret. We work alongside the UN and other Independent Intelligence Organizations to crack down on these heinous people. As slavery may be gone in the public eyes, but what about those in private? Slavery and illegal auctions still exist, albeit hidden. Just last year, in 2015, we cracked down on nearly 5,000 trafficking rigs in Asia alone, and we scored a similar 4,000 in the Americas and Europe. The ratio that we found on the kidnapped was 7 in 10 rescues were all monsters. And about 50,000-125,000 both people and monsters were shipped worldwide. That's why we, the Knights of Nights, are ready to risk our lives to give others their rightful freedom."
