Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Meeting Heros

It's been 3 years since I was born, I can now speak proper sentences. Today my mother and father told me that some special guests will be coming over for a little bit. I was currently reading some books in our private library when my mother came in announcing that our guests were here.

I put the book I was reading down on the coffee table in the middle of the room and followed my mother down the stairs. In the dining room is saw the hero Midnight. We have never met before but I was mentally freaking out. The moment we made eye contact, Midnight squealed in delight. "SHE IS SO CUTE!!" Midnight made her way over to me faster then I could see and pulled me in a hug. To say I was at a loss of words would be an understatement. I literally could not breathe.

"Hey uh.. Nemuri I don't think she can breathe." my mother pointed out. "Oh my bad." Nemuri pulled away from me and I took a deep breath of air.

After a few moments I turned towards the hero who had a guilty look on her face, I put on my best smile and introduced myself. "Hello, I am Kasumi Snow, it is very nice to meet you!" I said with a slight lisp. "And I'm fine, please don't be guilty." Nemuri looked at me in bewilderment before smiling at me. "I'm Nemuri Kayama, otherwise known as Midnight. Nice to meet you too Kasumi." I took a moment to think before I voiced out a reply. "I think I'll call you Aunt Nemuri." I looked at Nemuri to see her reaction and I'll be honest, I loved it. She had a huge smile on her face and a glint of happiness shone through her eyes. She looked like she was holding back from hugging me again which made me bite the inside of my cheek to refrain from laughing.

The doorbell rung through out the house indicating that more guests arrived. Coming through the dining room door was my father and following behind him were the heros: All Might, Eraser Head, Snipe, and Mirko. I was a little surprised to see them all but I had a feeling more heroes would show up considering Midnight was here. After introductions my parents told me to go out of the room since it was a conversation that was none of my concern.

After saying my goodbyes to the heroes I made my way back towards our private library. Currently I was reading a book about different types of quirks. Since my quirk (which I haven't gotten yet) would be "Quirk Creation" I thought it would be a good idea to learn about them for future reference.

After a couple of minutes reading of quirks I got quite bored and decided to read something else. I'd look through each shelf ordered from A to Z and found a fantasy book (I'll leave the details to your imagination) to which I immediately fell in love with. I was so absorbed in the book that I didn't even notice that my mother came in the room.

Out of nowhere, I felt arms gently wrap around my waist pulling me into someone's comfortable embrace. The scent of vanilla enveloped my nose and I knew instantly who it was holding me allowing myself to instantly relax into my mother's comforting arms. "It's time for bed Kasumi." My mother's soft voice whispered near my ear. I book marked my book and sat it down on the coffee table. I turned around in my mother's arms and buried my face into her neck, wrapping my arms around her. I didn't realize how tired I was until I was in her arms.

My moms arms tightened around me as she picked me up, taking me to my room. I was almost completely asleep when my mother lowered me onto my bed pulling the covers over me. I felt her place a gentle kiss on my forehead. "Goodnight my love." My mother whispered to me before I was out like a light.

(Jasmine Snow's POV)

I just put my daughter to sleep, she was in the library almost the entire day. I learned by now that my daughter was a genius. In the beginning I was very worried about her, she never cried. The only time she really did was when she was concerned about me and her father, or when she would get hurt doing something reckless. I knew what our maid Izumi used to call her. Nobody should ever think or call a child a demon. A child is still a child.

The moment I held Kasumi in my arms I could see the look of intelligence in her eyes. She looked at me with as much love as I had when I gazed at her.

It filled me with such happiness when she looked at me like that. I could never forget that day in a million years. Since then I noticed her intelligence more and more, she started speaking at 4 months old which isn't normal. Her first word was "Mommy" which made my heart melt. That was the time I knew my child was a genius and that was only the beginning.

I made my way into our bedroom and got into bed next to Jason. He turned towards me, wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me closer to his chest. "Is she asleep?" He questioned. "She fell asleep almost instantly." I leaned into his embrace. "Looks like the villain situation is getting worse, please be careful." I mumbled. "Of course." Jason leaned over and pecked my lips. "I'll be careful."
