My body felt as if it were on fire. Something was wrong and I knew it. My vision was flickering between blurry and darkness; I couldn't see.
Sweat was practically pouring out of my pores and I want panting as though I ran a marathon.
I had a feeling I knew what was happening to me. My skin feels like it's tingling and I feel a sort of energy. This is my quirk, I knew it was.
Today, I had plans to go shopping with Aunty Nemuri. "Guess we'll have to reschedule. I don't think I can walk in this condition." I muttered. Taking a deep breath of air, I yelled out as loud as I could. "GORO!!!" I knew he could hear me, he always did. I'd stare up at my ceiling, my vision still flickering. I heard rushed footsteps approaching my room and without knocking, Goro entered my room. "My lady!" He rushed over to me , noticing the terrible condition I was in. "C-call mom and dad and take me to the hospital." I groaned and closed my eyes to try and stop the pulsating headache I was feeling.
I don't remember much except the feeling of someone holding me in a princess carry and the sound of someone driving while muttering incoherent words. When I opened my eyes again, I heard the beeping sound of a heart monitor. I felt someone holding my hand and turned to see my father sitting next to me. I'm assuming my father arrived first and my mother was on the way.
I gave my fathers and a little squeeze to get his attention. His gaze snapped and we locked eyes. "Kasumi.." he reached his hand out towards me, caressing my face. I noticed that the tingling was barely noticeable now. The intense heat I was feeling was gone and so was the pulsating headache.
The door to the hospital room burst open. "How nostalgic." I thought. "MY BABY!" My mother ran towards me followed by a panicking nurse. My mother pulled head into her bosom and hugged me tightly. "Ma'am! Please be careful! She just woke up." The nurse tried to pull my mother away but she just gave the nurse a death glare. I shivered "I hope that is never directed towards me." I muttered quietly. "What was that dear?" My mother looked down at me. "Nothing.."
The doctor came in through the door. "Ah I see you are finally awake. Do you know what happened?" The kind looking me asked. "It was my quirk, right?" He nodded. "We ran some test and noticed that your body is practically rebuilding itself. I have no idea why but the pain you are in should go away within a matter of days. We still have no idea what your quirk could be so if any changes please come back." He put down the clipboard he was holding and looked at my parents. "I'm prescribing some medicine to lessen the symptoms, have her take 2 pills a day for the entire week. If you need more or it is lasting longer then please come back but we would need to do another check up. That is all." He turned and left the room.
(A/N: this is a rather short chapter but I will be splitting it into 4 parts. I am super busy this week and I will be going on vacation on Saturday so I won't be updating over the weekend.
