"I should have left his orphan ass on the street" King Vadis furiously grumbled
"You don't mean that sir" Sabar trying to calm him
"Bah" King Vadis waving his hand dismissively
It's been a week since the defeat of Melo and the King is still holding on to it. His defeat has significantly weakened the kingdom. The new defences of the demon kingdom have them worried about a counterattack. A war that has been going on for three years could be ended in one attack. The King sat on his throne thinking of a way out of the situation.
"Those children" he shot up, "What's their progress?"
"They're almost ready" Sabar smiled
"Can they fight them?" King Vadis asked
Sabar looked at the ground dejected because he knew that they were not ready for this fight. He knew Melo didn't want them to fight at all but the king needed new warriors. A decision needed to be made either to help the kind's conquest or keep someone wishes alive.
"They are not sir" Sabar answered
"That's disappointing" King Vadis scoffed
"I was going to assign them to guilds," Sabar said
"Why is that?" King Vadis
"For them to gain experience" Sabar answered
"Okay proceed immediately" Kind Vadis
"Yes sir but there's one problem," Sabar said, "The teachers are refusing to let them do it"
"I'll handle it" King Vadis getting off his throne
The class was training hard in the courtyard and the training was taxing on their bodies. Exhaustion built into each breath but this was worth it to three students wanting to go search for their friends. The thought of their friends suffering pushed them further than before. Everything seemed to slip away for them as they enter a deep focus.
In the demon Kingdom, everything was as peaceful as ever. There were no homeless, none sick or poor. Some demons had now fully excepted their new kings but others feel like this was a mistake on Ria part. The humans that were attacking them for years is now ruling them.
"I'm sure you heard the public outcry for you to step down," Sheya said
"Yeah" They acknowledged
"Would you guys like to step down?" Layla asked
"It seems like the right thing to do," Aneru said
"Pretty much" Migeru agreed
"Meh" Maikeru shrugged
"Get a personality, you emo," Migeru said
"I'm not an emo," Maikeru said
"That's what get your attention" Aneru unamused
"Can you guys not?" Shaya asked
"We're sorry but we'll be stepping down" Migeru apologized
"Sorry that's not happening," Shaya said
"Then why bring it up" Migeru annoyed and confused, "You know what forget it"
"The demons that don't acknowledge you will only acknowledge you when your strength is proven" Layla explained
"Migeru annihilated the old kingdom" Aneru rubbing his head
"I did, didn't I," Migeru said
"Go out and prove your worth" Shaya commanded
"There's no need for that" Ria entering the room
"Can you demons and or god make up your minds" Migeru said
"Look even if you prove yourselves it wouldn't help" Ria explained, "They have been relentlessly attacked by humans so accepting you could take a while"
The boys shook their heads understanding what Ria was saying. After the discussion, they went out into the kingdom for relaxation. They were greeted by smiles and scowls. Feel the ill intent being pushed towards them, the boys decided to split up. Migeru when into a bar, Maikeru headed to the park and Aneru decided to the shopping district. The bar was a very upscale one with beautiful lighting and interior design. The bartender was an old demon with an eye patch on his left eye and a man-bun. Other demons in the weren't too happy to see Migeru, the stares pierce throw like a bolt from a crossbow. He sat down near the bartender and exhaled deeply. The eyes on him made him feel like he did something wrong but a deep voice told him to sit up straight. The bartender looked him deep in his eyes this shook Migeru causing him to sit up immediately.
"Don't let them make you uncomfortable" he said
"Yeah but I don't belong here, I don't want to cause you people trouble," Migeru said
"You singlehandedly wiped out years of poverty and provided jobs," The bartender said
"Well" Migeru acknowledging himself
"Because of you and your friends, we truly know peace," The bartender said
"What's your name?" Migeru asked
"Royce Sire" he answered
Migeru smirked, he thought every demon would hate them but this wasn't the case. The happiness he felt will soon leave as a group of demons approached him from behind him.
On his way to the shopping district, Aneru was ambushed. The demon children would rush up to him and latch on. The look of absolute bewilderment was all over his face. Even though he was confused at first, he still decided to play with the children. The adults looked on smiling as tone of the kings played with their children. Smiling faces were all around him, the joy he felt made all the pain worth it. A group of male demons pushed through the crowd and confronted Aneru, the laughing and smiling immediately
"You're one of the Kings, you're scrawny," The demon said. He was at least 7ft tall and extremely muscular.
"Are we going to have a problem?" Aneru asked in a deep tone
Maikeru had an annoyed look on his face. There were girls around him trying to get his attention. He hardly spoke to them but was still kind, the scene caused by them was entertaining to the onlookers. The stench of jealousy was coming off the group of demons that approached them. Maikeru shook his head in disappointment but he had a terrifying look on his face.
Back inside the bar, the demons surrounded Migeru. Their breath smelt like strong alcohol. Migeru almost gagged at the smell but stayed poker-faced, the leader of the group leaned in and introduced himself.
"Hello I'm Tregunn," he said
"Am I'm supposed to care?" Migeru calmly
"You seem weak to beat Amon," Treggun said
"Is that so?" Migeru asked
"If we beat you we can be the rule this place" Tregunn laughing
Migeru got up and the building started to shake, the air shifted around him. The demons trembling and tried to back out. Migeru cast a barrier around the bartender then refocused on the opponents. He raised his hands towards and an explosive gust of wind started ripping apart the bar.
"Hyper magic: Gale dragon's breath, " He chanted. The wind forms a dragon and unleashes a breath attack that obliterates the wall then sends them into the wall at the edge kingdom. Some properties were destroyed in the process, the demons were broken afterwards. Migeru fixed all the damages he caused afterwards.
At the same time, Aneru was sitting on the knocked out bodies of the demons that attacked him. The sight of Maikeru was absolutely amazing and chilling, the demons that tried to attack him were now on their knees. Maikeru sat on a throne of purple skulls looking down on them. You could have seen the sweat dripping from their heads after that night the respect of the new kings went up tremendously.
"You attacked the kings," Layla said, "You know that punishable by death"
"You can let them go" Aneru shrugged
"You want to let them go?" Asai asked
"Yeah why not" Aneru shrugged
"You guys are lucky" Asai giving them the stink eye
The demons were let go and everything went back to normal. Aneru and his friends went back to the castle. The next day came and they were planning something, they had a map looking at the Altaria. Migeru places his finger on the location and a yellow ring was marked on it.
"You sure about this?" Aneru asked
"About fifteen per cent sure," Migeru said
"I'm not doing this" Aneru walking way
"Aneru it's going to be fine," Migeru said, "Maikeru is not panicking"
"Maikeru can't die!!!" Aneru screamed
"Oh yeah," Migeru said
Aneru rubbed his head and looked tiredly at him
"Just don't make me dead," Aneru said
"Maikeru you ready?" Migeru asked
"Yesh" Maikeru said
"Creation magic: travel link"
There was a flash of light then darkness. The boys slowly open their eyes and saw another kingdom in front of them. Wonder filled their souls as they entered the kingdom.
