" It's my money, I should see her first ". Connor frowned, his hand still on the camera, " Then I'll double it, just let me see her first ". Dallas frowned refusing to give in, " If you wanted to see her so badly, why not just send you're proposal ".
Connor made a gagging face, " You know I don't do work and I can't send a fake proposal ". Dallas rolled his eyes, " My answer is still no ". Connor smiled mischievously, " She's already answered our request. Your money's already going Al ".
Dallas had no other option than to give in and watched as Connor finally removed his hand. He had to admit, she wasn't what he was expecting. She had blonde hair just a shade brighter than Connors and there was something about her eyes.
Her voice sounded calming and reassuring and he suddenly had a small understanding about why she was so famous. But Connor was about to waste his thousand dollars if he let him go on like this.
He smashed Connor's skull and sent him and the chair flying. Iris had moved closer to her laptop to try and see what was going on. Dallas turned the laptop away and looked at her worried expression, " Is he okay "?
Dallas looked over at Connor who was rubbing head had to bite his lower lip to stop himself from cussing and screaming in front of his goddess. Dallas nodded, " He'll be fine. Sorry about that but I'm the one that needs your help ".
Iris nodded, relaxing back into her chair " Alright Mister...? " She made a circular motion with her hands, as she waited for him to introduce himself. He couldn't help but laugh [ She's quite animated ] " Dallas Pitcan ".
Iris nodded mildly, " Nice to meet you Dallas, I'm Iris Fetti, pleasure to work with you ". Dallas nodded and Connor suddenly appeared over his shoulder, " And I'm Connor ".
Iris only laughed and waved, " Glad you're alright. I'm Iris by the way ". Connor turned red as he stumbled back [ My goddess is concerned about me ] Dallas and Iris both sighed at his behavior.
Iris then picked her pen and notepad, " You need to write an appreciation speech "? Dallas nodded and Iris went on, " How big are we going? Is there anyone in particular you really want to thank? What sort of emotion are you hoping to convey at the end of the speech "?
Dallas rubbed his chin lightly, " Well, it's a company event, I really want to appreciate my parents and you know the typical your important situation ". Iris scribbled them down and smiled, " Alright mister Dallas. Are there any names and memories I should be wary of "?
Dallas stared at nothing in particular as he thought of it and shook his head, " Nothing I can remember at the moment but I let you know if anything pops up ". Iris nodded, " No problem, how soon do you need it "?
Dallas shrugged, " The event is in a month but I'd like to see it before then ". Iris scribbled it down, " Okay, so how long do you want it to be "? Dallas felt confused and Iris explained, " Do you want a two minute, five minute or ten minute speech "?
Dallas wasn't sure how to answer but he knew he hated public speaking so five minutes would be more than enough, " Five minutes should be enough ". Iris scribbled it down, " Alright, I'll send you a few different samples and you can tell me what you think ".
[ She's so thorough ] as a new message popped up and Iris put her pencil to the screen, " You could have a normal speech, tell some jokes or go down memory lane. There are other options but these three are my most popular ".
Dallas nodded, " Can I get back to you on that "? Iris nodded and sent her private line, " No problem, just call this number when you decide and we can go on from there ". Connor suddenly appeared again, " Can I call you two miss Iris ".
Iris only nodded mildly, still smiling " Of course, just introduce yourself first so I don't block you. Pleasure doing business with you Mister Dallas and I hope to hear from you soon Connor ".
Iris waved and disconnected the call. She couldn't help but laugh victoriously as she checked her account balance, there were a few more zeroes as well " It feels good to have money, so much money "
