Chapter 5 - Chapter 4 : A doctor and a fan boy.

" Have you been able to get a hold of her yet "? The woman staring at her computer was obviously dissatisfied with the answer she was given. Her hair had turned into an off white color due to her dangerous experiments and stressful lifestyle.

But that didn't take away any of her youthfulness, in fact her features were sharp, drawing more attention to her sharp blue eyes. She could only sigh as she bit her fingernails [ How can my perfect lab rat disappear like this? ]

Perfecta Orer was a scientist and a professor in psychology, there were many things yet to be discovered and fully understood on this planet but the human mind was one that intrigued her the most.

And a certain broken blonde and entered her office about five years ago. At first, she thought it was a simple post pregnancy depression she was suffering from but the girl obviously had a lot to say and she did.

But in fact, the girl blamed herself. Though she liked the girl taking responsibility for her reckless choices, she felt no one should have to subject themselves to such self blame. To top it all off, the girl was suffering from a very complicated sort of amnesia.

Perfecta thought it could be caused by her stressed mental state and a side effect of the epidural given to her, just when her case was becoming more intriguing she suddenly stopped coming for her sessions.

She'd used hypnosis on her once during that period of time but she was still a rookie and was joking around with it. Surprisingly, it worked but whenever she tried that same method on her other patients, it had no effect.

" I have to find her at all costs " [ And see how she's doing of course ] Perfecta sighed as she put back on her lab coat and back into her lab, " I just hope I won't be too late ".

" Have you being able to reach her yet "? Connor shook his head, " She's not online at the moment ". Dallas sighed as he ran his hand through his jet black hair, " This is a lot harder than I expected ".

Connor nodded looking up at his best friend, " Remi's City is quite elusive but she's very famous for her works ". Dallas nodded absent mindedly, " If you say so, she can't be that good ".

Connor raised an eyebrow as he looked at Dallas, " She has an amazing gift. Don't defame my goddess ". Dallas rolled his eyes, " How long do you think this will take "? Connor shrugged, looking at his computer again " It depends, she has a price list ".

Dallas turned back, obviously interested now " She does "? Connor nodded, making way for him to see her blog, " Of course, she has Mainstream and Personal Packages ".

Dallas was a bit surprised by the price list. Though paying was no problem, it was still shocking. Her lowest price was three thousand dollars and nothing less than a thousand words for any event for a mainstream package ".

A personal package had different categories like a voice call was a hundred dollars per hour, a video chat was two hundred dollars per hour and a meet and greet was nothing less than thousand and that was minus the writing cost and other expenses.

" That's a lot of money Connor ", Connor frowned taking his laptop back " You say that like it's a bad thing ". Dallas felt his mouth twitch as he watched his usually stoic serious friend act like a fanboy.

" Does she only write speeches "? Connor shook his head lightly, " Of course not, she's an award winning author. Though we've never seen her face before ". Dallas was finding this situation more ridiculous by the minute and was kicking himself for agreeing with Connor in the first place.

" Then how do you know what she looks like "? Connor smiled as he pulled up his sleeve, " She has her name tattooed on her right shoulder ". Dallas wanted to yell at him, maybe knock some sense into his friend but now wasn't the time.

" Can't people just tattoo it as well, not a very trustworthy way to identify her". Connor sighed as he shook his head, " You ignorant ignorant fool. No one's being able to successfully copy her style. From the color to the style of writing to the positioning ".

Dallas was indeed surprised by Connor's fan knowledge and at the same time angry that this same guy couldn't do any proper work in the company he half owned, only knowing to laze around.

Then Connor laughed, the excitement and shock he was feeling obvious as he put the laptop unnecessarily close to Dallas' face, " She accepted our request. Can you believe it "?
