Luna looked down dejectedly as she replied, "Yes, mother."
Luna had choked on her words as she croaked the two words out in a very soft voice. Even Mrs. Grey barely heard her response.
However, she didn't need to. As soon as Luna finished saying her words she grudgingly made her way towards her walk-in closet. Taking her time or rather dragging on the process for much longer than necessary, Luna finally left the closet thirty minutes later.
When she came out, she was no longer in her home t-shirt or shorts. She had changed her top to a short-sleeved plain white shirt that hugged her body gently. She also opted for black sweatpants and paired it with some running shoes.
In her mind she hoped that those shoes would allow her to make a run for it if she ever got the chance.
