A wry smile flashed across their beautiful yet worn out faces. Yeah. They will truly be free from this hell once and for all.
They all closed their eyes, a drop of tear mixed with the water from the sprinklers dripped down their faces and down their naked bodies before meeting with the ground alongside the four inches of water that had already gathered on the floor.

It didn't matter if they made it out of the cages for they had already accepted the end. However, this ending was not as miserable as it might seem.
