Chereads / Thoeia / Chapter 5 - Fog

Chapter 5 - Fog

Lots of times I had dreams of people.

They were total strangers.

I was very lost in the begging until I thought to myself they might be people I actually know.

What worries me is the fact that they are treasured in my head when I can not remember them myself.

But, on that day she appeared, but this time not in my sleeping dreams, but rather my death dreams.

She took my hand when I was pursuing that very far way small light.

She heard my voice when I was screaming in that back hole.

Filed in despair.

Emptiness.

I found an exist.

"Satoshi"

A soft voice came.

It is probably her voice.

I ran.

I ran.

following the light.

I'm almost there!!

I said on my inside.

Everything was very blurry I couldn't see a single thing.

But, then I reached a house.

It looked more like a Victorian house, but...

It was very dark and dead.

I looked at my hands being very surprised that I could feel again.

Didn't I die?

I walked slowly.

I felt my legs...

I arrived towards the wooden door to open it slowly.

The place looks very dusty and old.

I started walking to hear the sound of craking wooden ground.

It felt like they built it but forget it ever excited.

Smells like coal.

"Come to the balcony"

I heard a voice.

I felt goosebumps and terrified.

The voice was very soft and low, but it was sudden.

For no real reason, I didn't even bother suspecting it.

Or was it the fact that I had no other choice?

When I walked I realized I made it almost to the balcony, but what freaks me out is the fact that I reached it as I know this place like the back of my hand when it is my first time here.

When I arrived I saw her.

She was staring at this endless fog.

With her black hair and bang, she slowly started turning till her eyes met mine.

Judging from her look she looks 28 or something close.

She took a little sigh and started talking.

"you have died"

"..."

I was aware I died because I have tasted the emptiness of death.

"..."

Wait.

Wait wait wait!!

I tried talking, but nothing came out of my mouth.

This now feels like a nightmare.

I looked around to notice her holding a pen and a paper.

She looked so cold.

More like she was the dead person.

Right in front of her a person who is full of fear of not being able to speak, but she looks very calm.

She came towards me slowly to offer me the pen and the small notebook, but I refused being stuck in panic.

Words didn't come out of my mouth, but I was full of questions.

Where am I?

Why I can't speak??

Who are you?

What will happen to me?

"Guess things won't go very smoothly so I'll speak"

She said after turning her back again then pointed to the endless fog.

"You see this world?"

"It's actually just a dream created by your logic"

Then she looked at me straight at the eyes.

"Frankly, I'm also a dead woman."
