The strong aroma filled the house as Hanja was wearing a apron making his little sister her favorite food Gyoza to cheer her up and celebrate this new job. As he plated down all the delicious food his wallet cried but he didn't mind as they started digging in on all the different kinds of food in front of them. As they finished there meal Hanja put Mary to bed reading her the story of the old world last day.

There was one billion on an each continent but two billion where no where to be found. After about a thousand years the continent finally got a hold of themselves as each one devolped a special power to help them.
The magic empire uses the spells with massive damage to gain the advantage on the monsters. The kingdom of the beast tamers where able to tame these monsters as they where able to build a suitable kingdom with the help of the beasts. The technology republic used there superior minds to outsmart the monsters. The hold nation used the power of the gods to drive the monsters out. Then we have us deemed the weird nation cause we just use mana no specific method. The nation originally had a feud but each nation has a trump card so they do attack each other.

Mary looked at her brother as she threw a pillow at his face for reading her such a boring story. Hanja just put the pillow back tucking his sister in giving her a goodnight kiss to the forehead and turned off the lights walking out the room. Hanja then walked over towards a closet looking in seeing his father samurai clothes along with his mothers giant sword the only weapon he could get. He then put it on while carrying the giant sword barely holding it up as he walked over towards the samurai office.

As he reached the office he walked in as he went to the receptionist showing her the paper which lead her to pointing towards an elevator and holding up three fingers. He then went in and clicked the button as he arrived on the floor seeing 70 people there along with him going to take the test. A low ranking foot solider came in and started speaking, "Alright we have some Medium F rank you have to kill all of one to pass the test."
Hanja then walked in slowly but surely as he saw the rest of the group charge into the arena filled with all different kinds of monsters. Hanja quickly ran towards cover behind a tree as he occasionally looked out seeing the carnage. Hanja firmly gripped the sword but he accidentally cut his hand as had to wrap a leaf around to stop the bleeding.
The blood smell attached a monster a wolf with rocks coming out of its back leading up to the partly rock hard tail that could kill a person with one swing. The wolf jumped at the tree Hanja was hiding from as he had to drop his sword and roll away then facing the wolf head on. The rocks on the wolf spread to its left claw as it slammed down at Hanja but he managed to jump over the tree and take no damage.
The same couldn't be said for the tree as it was utterly destroyed as some wood flew towards Hanja's sword. Hanja knew he had to fight back so he went towards to grab the sword but as he tried to pull it out the sword. The sword didn't budge as the wood blocked it as the wolf ran up to attack him them rolling to safety as the wolf destroyed the wood but leaving the sword unharmed.
The wolf then jumprd at Hanja which he didn't have time to run away as it was about to kill him. Then Hanja then felt a heard a voice in his head asking, "Do you wish to trade your taste for a day to get your sword to your hand." Hanja instantly said yes as his sword zoomed to his hand skewering the wolf on the sword as it.looked down surprised seeing the sword pierce its heart.
Hanja then took the sword out as he took a deep breath then taking some of the wolf's blood to drink it but he didn't taste anything. He then saw some foot soldiers came to him leading him out of the room then showing him the winners area. There was twelve people besides himself as he saw the rest of the contestants where dead or eaten by the monsters.
A large burly man came out as Jin remembered this man as he was the man who gave him the woodcutting job back in the soul city. The man had some gray hair as he looked to be im his early 50s he then took the people who passed to get there picture taken and get there samurai Id.
As Hanja turn went he barley was able to stand up with the giant sword on his back. Blood started to come from his head but he continued to smile as the camera flash went off.

Hanja then walked back to his house but on his way he saw some knights holding up a picture of him and his sister so he ducked behind a wall and listened in. Five knights where talking but the leaders voice boomed as he said, "Alright shut up you lot and get ready we need to find these people and bring them to the lord so we can get our pay day."
The knights had greedy smiles but this was broken as a giant sword impaled the youngest knight that had just joined the squad. The young knight looked down in disbelief as he cried falling down as the captain grabbed him. The young dying man said, "Captain is this the end?," The captain nodded as the man continued talking and crying, "Please don't let me die I don't wanna die."
The captain gripped his sword as he stood up seeing Hanja standing infront of him. Hanja then heard the same voice ask, "Do you wish to trade your touch,smell and mana sense for a day to win the fight." Hanja accepted as he felt all his sense except sight and hearing go along with around ninety percent of his mana.
Hanja sword appeared within his hand as he raised it up and then suddenly swords sprouted of of there bodies made from there own blood. They all looked down as they said there goodbyes to each other and cursed this man and the lord that made them do this.
Hanja then looked at Jin saying, "Alright so for about twenty years the rest is filler so I'll just skip ahead. But what happen within those ten years Is I got strong enough to equal that of a low S rank."
He then turned his finger as time fast foward and Jin saw someone he knew and he instantly went to attack them but due to this being memories he was unable to. Jin then took a minute to think about the time period and asked, "How the hell is my mother here?"
