The smoke cloud cleared allowing the audience to see the arena. Finn appeared to have used the rest of his current mana to make an ice shield to protect himself but this didn't protect him fully his half of his left arm was gone his skin on the rest of his body was slightly burned and some ice he made exploded back into him stabbing into him. As for the other opponent she was nowhere to be seen, nothing left, not even a single piece of blood, all of it was gone except the giant explosion she made. The shield was broken in a bunch of places, some ice stinking into it, some destroyed by the explosion but lucky no one was hurt in the audience. People suddenly rushed into the arena grabbing Finn and rushing him to the infirmary to go and try to heal and help him survive.
The crowd was shocked but they soon shut up as the announcer said, "SINCE THE OTHER CONTESTANT IS PRESUMED DEAD THE WINNER ON THE TOURNAMENT IS FINN." Everyone wasn't surprised that Finn won but they were surprised the announcer was fine besides his burned and ripped clothes. Everyone in the crowd soon began to walk back shocked from the experience except Jin. He just continued to stare into the arena thinking about everything and how he would show himself to his brother with nothing to prove. He didn't even know if he would have a job because of the yelling match he exchanged with his boss. He was about to give up but an old man appeared in front of him.
He wanted to say something but the old man spoke first, "Now I know you might be asking why I am here? The answer is I know you guys cheated but I don't really mind since she broke so many of our family codes. So I want to thank you by giving you a chance. I shall give you the job with one exception. I shall give you a job quest and if you fail you lose the job. So do you accept this opportunity?" Jin looked at him and nodded, accepting it so the old man walked away so Jin did the same till he got a notification.

Jin got out of the system and walked towards the door but his boss stopped him and said, "I heard your conversation with the boss congratulations on getting the job." Jin didn't really know what to say for a second but he finally mustered up the courage to say, "Thank you boss but I still don't officially have the job." He seemed to be a bit upset with this response, "I hate when you call me that name and know that you have another job you don't have to call me that so say my real name." Jin felt a bit uncomfortable but decided to say it, "Okay fine I thank you for everything you have done for me Unmei." Unmei looked quite happy as they walked away but soon Jin fell down to the ground as he was barely holding onto staying awake since he used all his mana. Unmei grabbed Jin running towards the infirmary.

1 week later
Jin woke up looking at three people looking at him, one his boss, the second one his little brother and the third was Finn. His boss left as soon as he woke up saying his goodbyes hoping he gets well. Jake looked upset but he understood that he did all of this for him but he didn't like this. Jin put his hand on his little brother's head saying, "I'll need to go away sometimes but I promise I'll always come back. I can't help leaving since it is now gonna be my job but I'll hope you will always know I'll be watching you." Jake nodded saying, "Yeah I understand but I only have one question what happened to your eyes." Jin just simply explained, "Ummmmm it is another ability mutation that happened to my body." Jake left the room having to hurry and get to school on time with his boss driving it.
Jin finally looked at Finn, seeing part of his left arm was made out of ice. Finn said, "Yeah okay so apparently Since we cheated together we are gonna have to do the quest together so we need to get ready. We have one more week till we have to go and do the quest. The quest is apparently going to be exploring a dungeon with a group of hunters." Jin nodded understanding what was going he needed to do. Unmei walked into the room saying his final goodbye telling them he got his brother to school and then went away. Finn soon left, going to get his time to train before the mission. Jin did some exercises for a couple hours till he looked at his phone seeing a text from a minute ago seeing a message from his brother, "Brother someone is at the school please help." Jin bursted out the door running up the stairs reaching the outside world and proceeded to rush towards the school.
