Mizuki's eyes widen whe he saw the group of knights wearing their breastplates, cuirasses and armors. His body starts to heat up and rage filled his eyes. He recognized the emblem and crest the soldiers were wearing. What enraged him the most is to see the faces of the people who killed both his family and his people.
Among the faces of enemies in front of him, one of them prevails which he remembers to be the last person his father spoke to. That is no other than the king, Aiden.
"I have waited for this day to come. Half my whole life I spend resenting those evildoers who took the lives of those who are precious to me." He whispered under his breath. "I will make you pay! All of you!" He shouted loud enough that even the soldiers at the back could hear his voice.
"Grasping Roots!" He fiddle his violin so strong that the strings looks like it might break anytime. In conjunction with the rhythm he created, he sends forth vines through the ground to ensnare the enemies, dealing damage and rooting enemies down below.
The group disperse in action, however his attacks did not shake the king. He just stood there with no fear or remorse written on his face. He watched the enraged child in front of him which seems to be familiar with. However, he cannot recall where he had seen him before.
"A Lunarian?" Aiden surprised to see a lunarian stand against him. "So there is still some of them who have survive."
"That may be the last one of them, your highness." The commander general told the king.
Without any fear or sense of horror on his face, Aiden marches forward riding his horse to get a closer view of the bard.
"Fiery Inferno!" Aiden releases waves of flames across the battlefield to counter Mizuki's attacks. In no time, the roots were set ablaze and eventually turned into ashes.
There was no sign of hopelessness in Mizuki's eyes. He continues to fiddle and strum his violin with great force sending series of plant attacks towards the enemies. The only thing that dominates his heart and mind at this moment is to kill the person standing in front of him and avenge the deaths of his family.
"We'll take care of this, your highness." Delta and the rest of the elemental sisters stepped in.
Delta tried to break in but it was no use. More and more vines keep sprouting out of the ground. Zeta tried to sneak from above but it was futile as the roots extend to cover Mizuki.
He just stood there fiddling his violin as tears start to form at the edge of his eyes. Seeing the faces of these people from that horrific event of his past had eaten away his sanity and he loses control of himself.
A lonely lullaby echoed all over the place as he continues to play the sad yet vengeful tone. As time pass by, it becomes louder and louder as if the music gets angrier and stronger.
Meanwhile at the dungeon, Isidore and the others could hear the music from outside and latter follows with strong shaking and loud bang from above.
"What's going on?" Zhia asked as they continues to barge their way out.
"That must be Mizuki, we should hurry!"
"Who is Mizuki?" She asked again.
"You will soon know him later, right now we should help the others outside." He replied.
As the four reached the gate of the dungeon, Isidore and Chaneri were baffled to see the gate destroyed which were meant to be closed and guarded by Jeruzen.
"Isn't there supposed to be a gate here?" Chaneri asked.
As soon as they got out, they were terrified to see the situation outside. Everything was destroyed and were set ablaze. They hid behind a destroyed wall to conceal and prevent theirselves to be exposed to the enemies vision. The entire plaza had turn into a battlefield, dead bodies of knights scattered burning on the ground.
"Aren't they supposed to be on their side? Why are they being set on fire?" Chaneri asked.
"The king must have launch an attack without even considering that some of the empire's soldiers on this area might be caught with the attack too." Isidore explained.
As he roam his eyes around, he was addled to see why it's only Mizuki facing the tyrants. Balthazar and the others were nowhere to be found. "Where are they? This is bad!" He exclaimed.
They clearly watched Mizuki from afar as he fight the entire troops alone.
"What the hell is he doing?" Marjorie abhorrently asked.
"He must be fueled with anger to get himself into this situation." Isidore replied.
"Then, we clearly need to get him out of there!" She exclaimed.
"Rainfall!" Epsilon suddenly executed her attack. She draws water from the air above, creating a rainfall upon the target. It was deceptively powerful and quite painful, as she manipulates the rain droplets into piercing bullet shaped form. The rain additionally increased in velocity as time goes by so that they fall from the sky at the speed of small bullets.
The attacks destroyed and pierced through the roots and vines Mizuki had planted all over the place tearing them into shreds. The foliage were easily destroyed in a beat.
Little did she know, Mizuki knows how to manipulate water. Epsilon was baffled when her attacks recoiled and eventually aimed for her which where useless as her liquified body will only absorb the droplets. Once more, the rainfall changed direction and targeted the knights upstanding on the ground below.
"Terrashape: Arc!" Delta summoned a huge arc of stone that covers over them including the king from the rainfall.
It lasted for a minute until it stopped. Meissa, Bellatrix and Saiph arrived abruptly on the battlefield. With Mizuki so frustrated to get revenge on the king, he did not notice the arriving threat.
"Shadow Animate!" Saiph was able to get ahold of Mizuki in the middle of the scene. With him be able to submerge his body in the shadow, it would be too easy for him to evade all the attacks being hurled above.
"Just right on time!" Bellatrix smiled in a condescending way.
"They sure do move fast, aren't they? It took us two days to come back here and they only did it in a matter of time!" Meissa whined. "We really need to get ahold of some of those teleportation crystals." She added.
The king get off the horse and march towards the three.
"Your Majesty." The three bowed down before the king.
"Bring me the revolutionist!" He ordered them which they immediately obeyed.
Saiph forcefully controlled Mizuki to drop his violin on the ground, made him walk towards the king and kneeled before him. Meissa grabs Mizuki's head and forcibly made him to looked up. Rage is visible within his eyes as tears flows down his cheeks out of hatred.
"What a brave little missy?" Meissa said as she saw the outrage face of Mizuki. "Hmm?" Meissa noticed something from Mizuki. "You're not a girl, aren't you?" She asked.
Mizuki did not even answer or talk instead his face only shows raging anger. The king took a closer look of him and noticed something that made the hair on his skin rise.
They were shocked to see the king shaking in fear that made them wonder what he saw upon Mizuki.
"Is there anything wrong, sire?" Bellatrix asked him out of curiosity.
"Hand me my sword!" He immediately ordered. The commander general quickly handed him his royal sword.
As soon as he got ahold of his sword, he pulled Mizuki's chin and put his face closer to him to whisper on his ear.
"You would be better if you join your father in the afterlife, long lost prince."
