| Izuku P.O.V |
*Beep Beep Beep*
Izuku's alarm clock rang, its time showing it was six-thirty in the morning. It beeped for a few more seconds before its owner slammed his fist down on it, reducing it from an alarm clock to bits and pieces of what was one. Without paying any attention to the destroyed alarm, he jumped out of his bed into a flip and landed on his bedroom floor in a crouch.
"Today's the day," Izuku whispered enigmatically.
Immediately after, his mother, Inko Midoriya burst through his door with a frantic and disheveled look. She made eye contact with her son before asking in a very serious tone of her voice. "Today's the day?"
Izuku got up from his crouch also adorning a very serious look on his face. He minutely nodded his head to his mother before answering. "Today's the day."
Inko's eyes widened and all her seriousness disappeared as a big smile started growing on her face. "Today's the day!" She shouts with enough fervor to rival a pastor.
"Today's the day!" Izuku responds, matching his mother's enthusiasm with his own.
Inko pulls her son into a hug for a few seconds which Izuku returns before separating. All of a sudden her face started taking on a more worried look. "Oh my gosh, if today is the day, we need to start getting you ready now!"
Izuku became confused, he didn't know why his mom was talking about getting him ready when he told her yesterday that he had gotten everything ready for today. "Mom, don't worry I got everything ready yesterday."
Inko's looked up at her son with a face that seemed to ask "are you serious" before walking over to the closet of his room and flinging the door wide open. Her hands went through the different sets of clothes he prepared for today before stopping to turn around and look at him with what could only be disappointment.
"Izuku sweety, your hair still looks like broccoli, the clothes you prepared are geeky All Might merchandise or plain-looking background character ones, and you have red boots for footwear. You're not telling me this is what you want your selection to be for TODAY of all days, are you?" Inko's voice during her bashing sounded innocent but her choice of words was a little less so.
However, even after hearing what his mother had to say, Izuku was still confused as to what was wrong with the outfits he choose. It seemed to have shown on his face because his mother had made her decision before he could speak. "Izuku, be ready to leave in twenty minutes. We have shopping to do." Then Inko walked out of the room, leaving nothing up for discussion.
When she was gone Izuku began picking out a t-shirt and shorts for his shopping trip while muttering about what his mother said regarding his clothes. "There's nothing wrong with my clothes. I'm only hanging out with Uraraka and she's acting like we're going on a date."
Inko P.O.V |
Inko and Izuku were standing right in front of one of the biggest and most popular malls in Musutafu. It had taken about thirty minutes, using public transportation to get here. It was early in the morning so barely anyone was there which made Inko very happy. With so few people, she wouldn't have to wait long in lines to enter or buy from name-brand stores. It also insured that Izuku would meet Ochako on time.
Speaking of the girl, Inko didn't know much about Ochako other than that she met Izuku at the entrance exam, became friends with him, and was going to U.A with him. When she tried to get him to talk about how he met her, all he did was blush and babble incoherently. So Inko took that as her son's version of trying not to talk about it and dropped it completely. She knew dropping it without a fight was slightly irresponsible of a parent to do, but with her son's mental health improving at such a rapid pace she didn't want to do or say anything that would be detrimental to his full recovery.
However, she knew for certain that her baby boy possessed more affection toward the girl than one would for a normal friend. Which was exactly why she wouldn't let her son do something as appalling as wearing All Might merch or his regular everyday clothes to this "hangout".
Inko turned to her son, who was still mumbling complaints and other nonsense about shopping for new stuff being unnecessary. Inko sighed. He would thank her later, of that she was sure. So she grabbed her son's arm and started dragging him to the first clothes store she saw. "Izuku honey, let's go to this store over here and no hero merch. We can get that another time."
And thus began a long shopping trip in which Izuku would acquire many stylish new clothes for not just this date, but for many others in the future. And a haircut.
When the Midoriya household was finished shopping, Izuku looked like a new man. Gone was the broccoli-shaped hair and in its place was an undercut complemented by a perfectly symmetrical hairline. His plain, background character clothes were also gone. Replaced with a black shawl collar cardigan, a white t-shirt, and black cargo pants. In addition, his signature red boots were replaced by white bottom black top sneakers.
Inko took a step back from her son to admire her creation and after seven seconds of looking him up and down, she saw that all was good. "Your perfect Izuku."
"I don't know about this mom. The shirt and the cardigan are a little tight." Izuku complained.
Inko sighed. How could her son not see the genius in such a simple size change?! Girls, specifically teenage girls, really only cared about one thing about boys other than their looks and personality. And that thing is muscles. If the shirt and cardigan weren't a little tight, how could the Ochako girl see the muscle he had? Alas, her son was ignorant of this but that was okay as long as he got the girl. Speaking of the girl, it was almost time for Izuku to meet her.
"Don't worry about it son, just go get her." Inko gave her son a thumbs-up before starting to push him from behind to leave.
"Get her? Wait, what about you and the bags? I can't let you carry them all home."
"Don't worry about that, I'll call a cab. You're supposed to meet Ochako in an hour and you have a long bus ride. So go.
"But."
"GO!"
And Izuku was off.
Ochako P.O.V |
Today is the day and Ochako Uraraka had never been so nervous. Ok, maybe not the most nervous she has been but definitely in the top five. She had never been on a date with a boy before and didn't know what to wear. All her clothes either didn't feel right to wear on a date or were not meant for the warm weather.
When the date of their two-person outing was decided, she didn't feel the need to dress up nice. She actually planned to wear casual clothes. However, as the day of the date got closer, she found herself feeling more self-conscious, and when the day of the date arrived, the feeling got so bad she gave into it and tried to put more effort into her appearance last minute which wasn't working out so well.
Ochako was stuck on what to wear until she remembered a cute summer dress she got from her dad last year. She was supposed to have worn it on a family trip to the countryside but never got the chance because she had accidentally left it at home. With the solution to her problem found, she rummaged through her drawers and closets for several minutes, making quite a mess, until she found it.
It was in as good a condition as the last time she saw it and most importantly it looked perfect for a date. It was a long, white, and sleeveless dress, with a pink collar and two pink stripes with white in between at the bottom of the dress.
Even after a year, the dress looked like it would fit her pretty well, maybe even better than before since her dad liked to buy thing a size bigger so she could grow into it. With her attire situation straightened out, Ochako was about to walk off to get ready for her date when she remembered something else related to the dress. It had come with a very wide-brimmed hat that had a cute pink and white ribbon attached to it.
With this new revelation, she dove back into the mess that was now her closet to search for the hat and while she was at it, some matching footwear. It took her a few more minutes until she found the hat and a pair of wedge sandals that matched the dress.
Now that everything was gathered, it was time to get ready.
Izuku P.O.V |
From the moment Izuku had left the clothing shop in the mall, he had been getting stares and passing glances from random people. At first, he didn't think much of it, he believed they thought his hair looked funny or something.
When he got on the bus that would take him to Ochako. For reasons he didn't understand, random girls who were riding with him started asking him for his number. He politely declined them of course. When he was young, mama Midoriya had always told him not to give his numbers out to strangers, especially if they were older women. She said they were something called shota hunters but Izuku didn't know what that meant.
After Izuku declined giving them his number, some of them started asking for pictures with him. He figured that a picture was harmless and took some with them. Then, for some even stranger reason, some of them asked if he was a model or someone famous. He of course told them he wasn't but none of them seemed to believe him.
It was then that Izuku's mind began to brainstorm why these events were happening to him today. It came to a conclusion that he could hardly believe despite all the evidence. He came to the conclusion that all these girls were attracted to him, and not like with a magnetism quirk. These girls were attracted by his looks. Had a change in outfit and hairstyle really improved how he looked that much?
Apparently, the answer was yes! Izuku could almost feel his confidence increase leaps and bounds at the realization and it showed externally as well. His back became straighter, his expressions became more relaxed as well as his posture.
"The next stop is XXXX" The bus driver announced.
This was his stop. When he got home he was going to praise his mother to high heavens but right now going to meet up with Uraraka. With this new confidence boost, Izuku felt like he was more than ready to make this a fun hangout, no, date, for her.
Once the bus driver stopped and opened the doors, Izuku got off and started walking up the block toward the meeting spot. He was around 10 minutes early but that didn't matter to him. His confidence high wasn't going anywhere, anytime soon. He could wait for Uraraka to come with no problem.
During his walk to the meeting spot, he spotted a store selling shades and since it was sunny out he decided to buy himself a regular black pair. Turns out, that even when covering his face with shades, people still give him a once-over when he passes by. While the attention didn't get to Izuku's head it was doing wonders for his confidence.
When Izuku reached the final block to the meeting point, he started putting as much suave as he could into his walking posture just in case Uraraka had also arrived early. If she did arrive early, she would see how cool the new him was, and if she didn't, then it was whatever.
Halfway up the block, he saw a girl in a summer dress and a long brimmed hat that hid the upper half of her face in shadow. When he began wondering if the girl was Uraraka, the world blessed him with an answer in the form of a light breeze that lifted her hat a little, revealing her to be who he thought her to be.
Izuku's appreciation for his mother reached physically incalculable heights as he saw just how beautiful Uraraka was in that dress. Right now, she was undoubtedly one of the most, if not the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. The sundress she wore, hugged her form tightly, showing just how curvaceous her petite body was. Her auburn brown eyes sparkled in the sunlight and her perfect fair skin made her look like a famous model or celebrity.
If he had gone out with the clothes and hairstyle he originally planned to, this date would look more like a slum rat following behind a princess than an actual outing between friends. But, he didn't. Izuku, as he was now, could rival a model in looks and style. He knew this, which was why he didn't stumble or stop even when his nervousness started making his stomach feel funny.
When Izuku closed the distance between the two of them, he taps her on the shoulder to get her attention. When Uraraka looks up at him, he could see the surprise on her face and... relief? Was she glad he didn't come dressing like a background character? Now he was even more grateful to his mother for getting him all this but that wasn't important right now. Right now, he needed to say something, like a cool greeting, to start this date but he didn't know anything cool to say. So he thought about what cool people like All Might would say.
'I AM HERE! ARE YOU READY FOR THIS MIGHTY DATE WE ARE GOING TO HAVE!' His inner All Might boomed.
'No, that's too boisterous. What if she thinks I'm a weirdo? I should just do a normal greeting. But what if he came off as lame because of it. I need a middle ground between cool and normal but what is that?' Izuku kept making up different greetings in his head but none of them were ever satisfactory to him.
"Hey Izuku, long time no see." Uraraka greeted while Izuku was trapped in his mind.
Izuku began to panic a little more, still unsure of what greeting was a good mix between cool and normal before he ultimately decided to just wing it.
Izuku put on his best All Might face, tense face muscle, smile and all, as he moved his left hand to rest on Uraraka's shoulder, and in the manliest and coolest voice he could muster, he said "Hey~".
His greeting did not have the effect he wanted. Instead of wooing Uraraka, it made her burst out laughing. And not in a normal laugh but in a gut-wrenching one. "Pfff, Hahaha!"
Izuku started feeling embarrassed but he didn't mind since Ochako was laughing and that was good. Right? Her laughter died down to a chuckle after a few seconds and she wiped the tears she had in her eye from laughing so hard.
"I'm sorry for laughing Izuku." Uraraka apologized between giggles. "But when you show up all cool and crisp then do something like that. I can't help it. Hahaha."
As Ochako's laughing fit came back, Izuku's confident and cool posture slowly shifted into a more sheepish one. "Well, I was trying to do a greeting that was a mix between cool and normal but I guess I didn't do it right." Izuku blushed a little while scratching the back of his head when he was explaining himself.
Ochako, who had finally gotten the last of her laughs out, decided to voice her appreciation to her date for trying. "It's sweet of you to try so hard but you don't have to. A regular greeting is enough for me."
'But I want to,' Izuku thought but left it unsaid. He didn't want to come off as pushy."I'll keep that in mind for next time. So how about we go to that cafe you wanted to visit for breakfast. I haven't eaten all morning so I'm starving"
"Yeah me too." Ochako agreed. "I can't wait to try that new sundae they have. I heard from the reviews online that it's really good."
"Ahh, really? I guess I'll have one of those too. And, um, you look really good right now by the way." Izuku complimented his date.
She was taken off guard by his sudden flattering remark and accidentally stuttered a bit before returning it. "T-thanks. You look really good too. To tell you the truth, I was going to wear my regular clothes but decided last minute to dress up. And I'm really glad I did because it would be weird if you were the only one dressed up nice."
Despite the shades blocking most of his facial features, someone who looked close enough could see the surprise on Izuku's face. "You too?" His focus shifted from in front of him to Ochako.
"Wait? We did the same thing?" Ochako asked, also shocked at this revelation
"I think we did," Izuku said with a small laugh.
"What are the chances huh?" Ochako asked rhetorically. She laughed a little bit at the coincidence.
From there on out the two walked in a comfortable silence all the way to the cafe. When they got there, ordered breakfast, and took their seats, a conversation was started again by Ochako.
"So what do you want to do after this? All I could think to do after this was explore the city but we can't do that the entire time."
"I was thinking we could go see a movie. I'm not sure which one tho." Izuku said in a contemplative manner. "There's also a mall we could go to."
"The mall is nice. Even if we're just window shopping it could still be fun."
The two went through more ideas on what to do but it was ultimately decided that they would view a movie, go to the mall and end the data by walking around the city. After their schedule was decided, they continued to talk and enjoy their food for around two hours in the cafe before heading to the movie theater.
There, they watched a two-hour-long action movie about a famous hero falsely labeled a villain by powerful and corrupt people in the government. The hero has to live life on the run while trying to clear his good name and simultaneously bring the corrupt government officials to light. The hero succeeds in clearing his good name but couldn't bring down the corrupt officials. It was revealed in the after-credit scene that he is still trying to bring the corrupt officials to justice. Both Izuku and Ochako enjoyed the movie so much that they continue to talk about it half an hour after it was done.
"My favorite part action-wise has to be when Akihiro had to fight his way out of the hero association. It was just soo cool seeing him take down so many people so skillfully by himself." Uraraka praised while throwing punches at the air in front of her.
"Mine would have to be when Akihiro was escaping the police and the heroes after they came to arrest him. He did some really cool parkour and even though the martial arts were too fancy to be viable in a real fight, it was still cool." Izuku enthusiastically shared his own favorite scene with his date.
When they got to the mall, they picked up some more food from the vendors while window shopping and trying on clothes. Though it was mostly Ochako trying on clothes while Izuku rated how well she looked on a scale of 1 to 10. None of those ratings ever fell below an eight.
When they had finished trying on clothes from another shop and were about to go to another they came across a tall young woman wearing a beret and expensive designer clothes shouting a the top of her lung into her phone.
"What do you mean they're not coming? Do those stuck-up brats have any idea how expensive and time-consuming it was to set up this shoot?" The woman paused to let the person on her phone talk for a bit before speaking again. "I don't care if the company will refund the money! I don't need money, I need models!" Then she hung up the phone with a huff. "Supermodels, ha! Nothing super about them. Spoiled little stick figures with puffy lips who think only about themselves.
Izuku and Ochako were going to walk right by her and continue their date but the woman had other plans for them.
"Hey, you two." Multiple people turned to face the woman including Izuku and Ochako. "Not you bozo's, I'm talking to cardigan and sundress over there." The woman pointed at both Izuku and Ochako as she quickly closed the distance between the two to prevent escape. Once she got close, she looked both of her captives up and down before nodding as if she had come to a decision. "You two are coming with me." She grabbed both Midoriya and Uraraka's wrists, and with a surprising amount of strength and speed, dragged the confused duo into her photo studio before they could even say a word.
Inside the studio, there were lots of people moving around getting stuff done. Some people were setting up lights, others were positioning expensive-looking cameras in front of white backdrops and green screens. There was even furniture and props being shuffled around. However, all this motion stopped when the woman, who whisked away the still confused Izuku and Ochako from their date, walked in.
The two held in the woman's death grip were going to say something until they noticed all eyes on them. Their nervousness got the better of them and made them stay silent despite their confusion. No one did or said anything until a casually dressed man, with a mutation quirk that gave him a third eye on his forehead, walked up to the woman holding the Midoriya and Uraraka.
When the woman saw him approaching a smile blossomed on her face. "Excellent, your here Shimoda. Take these two to the girls in the back and have them prettied up for the shoot in five," she ordered while handing the wrist of both her captives to the man.
Shimoda's face wore a confused look but still took the offered wrists of the two teens. "Sure boss but what happened to the original models?"
The boss woman's face scrunched up in anger which made Shimoda shiver a bit. However, even with the anger clear on her face, she spoke in a calm voice. "Those no-good brats canceled on us last minute so I found us some... volunteers."
It was here that Izuku started to speak up. "We didn't actually volunteer for anything."
"Yeah, you basically dragged us off the street," Ochako chimed in.
The visible anger on the boss woman's face disappeared and was replaced by a pleading one. "Oh, come on. Were at the last of our rope, our wit's end. Please help us out? I'll even make it worth your while."
At the statement worth your while, the yen signs replaced Ochako's eyes and she suddenly felt very inclined to help these fine people out. "I'll do it." She decided speedily.
"Are you sure? If you don't want to do this we can leave right now." Izuku didn't mind helping these people out with their photo shoot. Heroes did stuff like this all the time and he was going to become one. However, he didn't want to do it if Ochako was feeling pressured into doing it.
"Very sure! Absolutely sure!" Ochako said with great enthusiasm and greed to match.
Izuku sighed. "All right, I'm in."
The boss lady almost squealed with joy. "Excellent! Follow, Shimoda to the back to get some makeup done. I promise you, you won't regret this."
Shimoda, who was no longer holding the teen's wrist, sighed before walking off and signaled the two stand-in models to follow. With a little bit of nervousness, Izuku, and Ochako walked into the back to be prepared for their first photo shoot.
The boss lady turned back to her staff who stopped to watch the interaction between her and the teens. This made her very upset. "What are you limp dicks looking at? Get back to work. If everything's not in order by the time they come out someone is getting fired."
Her words spurred everyone into action again. She huffed before going around the studio to double-check everyone's work. After around five minutes, the substitute models came out looking better than ever. Her make-up team really outdid themselves this time. The two of them practically looked like supermodels right now. Especially the girl now that her hair is longer than it was before. One of her girls, Kioku, must have used her quirk on her.
"All right you two." Ochako and Izuku looked to the lady who was the boss of this establishment. "I know you're a little nervous but I'm sure you'll be fine. Just treat this like you're taking a yearbook photo and it'll make doing this a whole lot easier. Kapeesh?
Both teens nodded their heads to show they understood. "Great! Now for the run-down. I know everything going on looks complicated and distracting, and it is, but it won't be for you. Your only job is to look into the camera, pose how I tell you to pose, and look good doing it. You guys get all that?"
"I did," Izuku answered simply. He was super nervous right now but he didn't want to show it.
"Yes mam!" Ochako saluted like a soldier. Clearly less nervous and more enthusiastic about this than Izuku.
"Great! Now change into these..." The boss lady handed Izuku and Ochako some expensive designer clothes and shoes "...and wear these." She also handed them both very real diamond and gold jewelry. "Changing room is behind you to the left. Don't take long, we have a lot more stuff for you to try on and even more pictures to take."
Five minutes later both Izuku and Ochako were posing in front of flashing cameras. Some pictures were taken posing together on props and furniture, some were taken with them separated. All of them taken included the boss shouting at them to do specific poses and her giving out compliments about her great they looked.
"All right, you guys are doing great. Now, Ochako sweety, lay down on the couch and put your head on Izuku's lap." Ochako followed the boss's instructions. "Now Izuku, lean in and lock gazes with her. "Izuku followed her instructions as well but started feeling a blush paint his cheeks red as he gazed into Ochako eyes. She was also blushing from locking eyes with him but it was less noticeable with her since she always had a blush on her cheeks. "PERFECT!" The boss's shout was followed by flashing cameras from all angles.
The photoshoot continues for the next forty minutes with Izuku and Ochako doing different poses in different clothes, jewelry, and even hairstyles.
"All right everyone, that's a wrap," the boss declared from her chair while checking the time on her watch. "Good job everyone, especially you two," she pointed at Uraraka and Izuku.
"Finally, modeling is a lot harder than I thought it would be." Izuku groaned while heading back to the changing rooms. After going through the photo shoot, he gained a newfound respect for models.
"I know right," Uraraka agreed. Also heading to the changing rooms."But it was fun wasn't it?"
"Yeah. Yeah, it was." Izuku concurred with a small smile tugging at his lips. "By the way, It's around six o clock now. Are you still up for a walk around town after this?"
"Totaly," Ochako answered. Both teens then slipped into their own changing rooms without another word.
When they got out, both were in their original clothing and the boss was waiting near the entrance of the changing room for them with two thick brown envelopes in each hand. "Hey kiddos, remember when I said I would make this worth your while."
Izuku and Ochako nodded. Already suspecting what was in the envelope.
"Well here you guys go," the boss handed each of them an envelope. "Exactly 260,000 yen in each bag. Also, please sign these papers, they are what we use as physical and legal confirmation that you are ok with us using the photos we took. I know it's a bit much but it's the law and all that."
Even as Ochako and Izuku were signing the papers, Izuku couldn't believe they were being given this much money. "Boss are you sure it's okay to give us this much. Were not even proper models."
"Izuku, you're a good kid with strong morals and I like that about you. But don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Take it kid, you've earned it." The boss turned around and began walking away from the two, leaving them to their own devices.
Izuku was still hesitant to take so much for what he viewed as doing very little
However, Ochako felt no hesitation in accepting the money. "Thanks boss!" She waved the boss goodbye even though she knew they couldn't see her.
"See Izuku, your girlfriend gets it. Anyways, call me if you ever want to pursue a career in modeling. You two have what it takes." With those words said, the boss disappeared around a corner.
For a few seconds, they both stood rooted in place. Blushing up a storm. Neither said anything at all because both were waiting to see how the other would react to the boss's claim that they were in a relationship with each other. When it became apparent neither of them were going to say anything, they both wordlessly moved to the exit of the studio and then the exit of the mall.
When they were outside, Izuku looked at the orange sky of Japan, realizing the sun was about to set. Then he spoke to his date. "Hey, Ochako?
"Yeah?" She answered curiously.
"You trust me right," Izuku asked.
"Yup~" she answered immediately. Popping the p at the end."
"Enough to close your eyes?" he inquired of her.
Ochako was going to answer yes again but hesitated when she realized what the implication of boys asking a girl to close their eyes on a date could mean. 'Is he going to try and kiss me?' Her thought made her blush a little. ' Dad said not to let a boy kiss me until I was married but if it's Izuku, it's ok. Right?' Not wanting to spend more time thinking about it, she answered.
"Y-yes I do." She stuttered a bit and a deeper blush than her usual one formed on her face.
"Can you close them for me now?" Izuku asked as he took Ochako's hands into his own.
The blush Ochako had going turned her face completely red. She was so flustered she didn't trust her voice to answer him properly. So without speaking, she nodded and did as he requested. She closed her eyes but she lowered her face. She didn't know why, but for some reason looking up became very difficult.
"Thank you," He replied.
For the next few seconds, Izuku didn't say anything, and most nerve-rackingly for Ochako. Didn't do anything. He just held her hands in his own. She started to suspect that he was teasing her before going to lay one in.
"Hey Ochako, look up."
Was this it? Was she, Ochako Uraraka, going to have her first kiss? With only a bit of difficulty, she slowly but surely raised her head and pucked her lips. But instead of kissing her like she thought he would. He turned her away from him.
'Is he going to try from a different angle?' Uraraka still believed he was going to try and kiss her but she was wrong. In the next moment, all she could hear was the wind.
"Open your eyes now!" Izuku shouted but the sudden, yet strong, wind muffled it.
When Ochako opened her eyes she was gifted with the greatest sight she had ever seen. In front of her were countless clouds, an endless horizon, and the setting sun. It was truly a magnificent sight. The city below looked so small from where she stood on Izuku's light platform that it made her feel bigger than the world.
"Holy crap Izuku!"
"It looks amazing right?"
"Yeah! We're so high up right now! HAHAHA," The young Uraraka spread her arms out to feel the breeze against her whole body as she watched the sun almost completely dip below the horizon.
"Hey, Ochako!" Izuku called out to the girl.
"Yeah!" She shouts back.
"Let's do this again sometime! It was fun!"
"Of course, we will dummy!" Ochako suddenly tackled Izuku into a hug that flung them off the platform they were standing on.
"Ahhhh, Ochako!" Izuku began screaming and flailing like an animal in its death throes when his date suddenly tackled him off the platform and had them start free-falling toward the city
"Izuku! Hahaha!" Ochako laughed like a maniac. Uncaring of the fact they were falling from cloud level to pavement.
While current evidence contradicts the following statement, it is nonetheless true. Ochako Uraraka had not lost her mind. She knew they would be fine, after all between her Zero Gravity quirk and Izuku's energy one, there was no way something like falling would kill them. She was just doing this as petty revenge against him for making her think, and kind of hope, he was going to claim her first kiss. Was this dangerous? Yes. An overreaction? Maybe? Her fault for misunderstanding his intentions? No. And that is why she dive tackled her date from over 6,500 feet in the air.
She wasn't in the wrong. Right?

A/N: This chapter was all fluff by accident. Was gonna write about the quirk assessment test in this chapter but for what I have planned, I realized I kinda needed a dedicated chapter about Izuku and Ochako developing feelings for each other so that when I do enact my plan it doesn't look like Izuku has strong feelings for Ochako because he poked her in the butt with his boner and texted a lot with her afterward.
Also, sorry if the progress of the story feels slows with how I'm writing it. I'm pretty much a newbie at writing fanfiction so please bar with me as I improve. Plz, point out any mistakes you see if you want my writing to be improved for future chapters and stories. As always, thanks for reading. Author out ☮️.
