"Excuse me Sir" hearing a voice Victor turned to his left.
"Sir, there is an emergency situation" the person announced giving a letter to Victor.
"Why the fuck is life playing with me? What the fuck do you want?" Victor groaned throwing the letter on the floor.
"What is this now?" Travis bent to pick the letter from the floor.
Mia was just looking at the two men without blinking. She was too scared to ask anything, she wished to escape from there but she had no option left with her.
"What the fuck? How did this even happen?" Travis shrieked looking at the letter.
"Why can't they just say what the damn matter is in there without exaggerating?" Mia thought to herself when both the men passed worried looks to one another.
"What is this man? We were so careful? How did this even happen?" Travis questioned Victor who was seriously engrossed in his mobile.
Mia stared at Victor's left fist that tightened its grip with each passing second.
"Travis, enough is enough. Now that almost everything is out, we are not going to hide anymore. Let's deal with those bastards" Victor kicked the stool beside him with frustration.
"Everything is out? So does this mean I am free from these stupid instructions and rules?" an overly excited Mia questioned without giving any thought to the consequences.
Travis immediately turned towards her and warned her to stay silent.
"What? Tell me what happened? Am I free now?" excitement was overflowing in her voice.
"Shut up" Victor's roar resounded in the whole room.
While Mia was beyond petrified, the staff in the room immediately dispersed.
"You want to be free? Do you have any idea about the price of freedom?" Victor barked on Mia's face.
Victor's face was just inches away from Mia's. She was petrified looking at his red eyes, tears slipped out of her eyes involuntarily looking at Victor's angry form.
"You want freedom? I too want that woman, everyone wants that. But the thing is we have to pay a price to have it, now get ready to pay your price. Get ready Hazel, we are going to my house right now," Victor roared.
"We are going to your home, not to any prison, why were you looking so pale and tensed?" Mia though fearless questioned him back.
"Don't test my patience with your stupid questions Mia, my family got to know we are here. My family in the sense The Royal Family, now we received orders to be there within an hour. Do you even understand the seriousness?" he roared.
Mia was seriously unable to understand why was he being too shaken to meet his own family, from her personal experience only kids who committed a few mistakes were scared to meet their family. She looked at Victor for an explanation.
"Aah..." Victor groaned looking at her confused expression.
"Mia, we are the future heirs of the Royal Family. We in the sense Hazel and I. We have been provided with security and every move is supposed to be heavily monitored. I was the one who broke enough rules for trying to spend time with Hazel to know one another better. Our security is the main priority for Royal Family. Now I have been here since yesterday trying to fool everyone and Hazel is..." Victor cut off in the middle speaking about Hazel.
Mia looked eager for the answer.
"Understand that my family found out I am here with you, they can't ever take a back step about our security and now our step might make them feel deceived. We will be asked questions, not questions. We will be interrogated, someone is doing this for their benefit, I will surely find who the fuck they are and what they want. But before that get ready, just get ready in the clothes they show and meet me down. I will brief you on everything" Victor stepped back from there and walked away.
"But I am not even half prepared, I have to learn a lot and I don't..." Mia was about to say something.
"Shh... Calm down. We don't have time for this bullshit. Just get ready as I ordered and don't throw any drama. I need you within half an hour all ready in the living area" Victor glared at Mia while ordering.
"Get her ready, I am not going to entertain any mistake" Victor warned the staff while walking out.
The staff immediately rushed towards Mia's side and rushed her towards the bedroom.
"Mia, I can understand what you might be feeling, these all are so new to you and trust me Victor wanted to make you all prepared to meet his family, but the thing is someone is watching our every move, the information about you people being here got leaked o the family and we are trying to find how that happened. I know this will all be new to you, but just get ready and do as any of us say. Don't listen to anyone and just wait for either of our orders. More than anything from this minute forget that there existed a Mia. You are Hazel from this moment. All the best" Travis rubbed Mia's shoulder for encouragement.
"If someone knows everything and tried to spill that out before his family doesn't they know this truth of I replacing their daughter-in-law?" Mia questioned Travis.
"Thankfully no, I know the blackmailers know this too, but they are holding this back for some benefit, we are on that. Just be prepared and be careful. Just follow our orders and not a mistake. Be conscious. Go and get ready" Travis nodded to the staff who rushed her.
Mia was groomed by the staff from all the sides, while one straightened her hair the other rolled it into a bun. One middle-aged woman tied lace around her gown while the other buckled the pointed heels around her toes. Her face was coated with light makeup and within fifteen minutes Mia saw the reflection of a beautiful girl. She never looked this graceful ever in her life.
"Madam, we need to rush" one girl smiled at her.
Mia stood up exhaling a sharp breath preparing herself for something only she knew.
