Chapter 1 - Fit of Rage

"Be alert, keep me updated. If anyone from media gets the slightest idea about this, the matter will be blown out of proportion" Victor spoke to the other person on the call waiting at the Baggage Carousel.

"Victor, you can't roam around without any security. Now stop being stubborn and please let me send you the vehicle" Travis, Victor's best friend hissed on the call.

"Travis, I am screwed in every possible way. I don't give a shit to my security right now. I will be the happiest if someone kills me, it's better than bringing humiliation to the whole family" the frustration in Victor's words was easily understood by Travis who is as helpless as Victor is.

"Victor, just keep your calm. We will find one or another solution. We have put our people everywhere, they are monitoring every possible corner. Don't stress, at least come to my home" Travis requested.

"Okay, I will" Victor disconnected the call and dragged his feet towards the waiting area. No one can even guess by looking at his attire that he is the heir of the Royal family who is going to be the new heir of the crown.

He boarded the first cab that came into his view. Victor was beyond frustrated with the turn of events in his life; never did he imagine that his life would turn this helpless. Fear started creeping in him thinking about the consequences his family would be facing.

Tension started building up inside him and he pulled out a cigar to ease his tension.

"Sir, smoking is not allowed inside the cab" he heard a stern voice.

"Sorry, I was just.." he apologized but the tension kept rising inside him.

Though he knew it's bad to smoke, he was unable to ever give up the habit and now he can't even think peacefully without having a drag.

As it's past midnight the city roads which were always busy with the commuters looked empty. Victor's eyes caught the sight of the seashore, and a needle pierced straight into his heart.

"Can you please pull the cab by the side?" Victor requested.

"Sorry Sir, but I can't after dropping you I have to attend another ride"

"Hey Lady, just pull the cab aside. I need a smoke ASAP. I will pay you as much as you want" he said banging on the driver seat.

She looked at him from the rearview mirror, as he is drenched in sweat even though he is travelling in the Air Conditioned vehicle she understood his restlessness.

"Thank you" he murmured stepping out of the vehicle without even glancing at her.

She waited for him to complete his cigarette but to her surprise, he kept smoking one after another. Glancing at her watch she sighed as she spent more than half an hour waiting for him.

"Sir, are you even interested to reach your destination?" she questioned walking to him who didn't pay any heed to her question.

He is seriously staring at the tides without blinking his eyes, she felt a bit odd.

"It will be better if I cancel the ride here itself, he is looking a bit shady," she thought to herself.

"Sir... Sir" she called him out.

As he gave her no response she lightly patted on his shoulders to catch his attention.

"Sir, I need to go, it will be better if you pay for my ride" none of her words reached his ear. He stared at her with shock.

"Sir, I am speaking to you" she snapped across his stunned face which brought him back to his senses.

Victor stood up in a jiffy and clutched her neck with one hand. She was startled by his sudden reaction. He pinned her to the rock not leaving her neck. She was unable to catch her breath. She tried speaking but words didn't come out of her mouth. She felt her head spinning due to the breathlessness.

"You Bitch" he screamed on the top of his lungs. His eyes turned red and his body language seemed too odd.

She tried freeing herself by punching on his whatever body part she got access to but that had no effect on the beast clutching her neck. Unable to free from his grip she left a small prayer to Almighty, she spread her hands and her right hand got access to a stone lying on the rock. She immediately clutched that tight and banged it on hard on his head.

Due to the sudden effect, Victor released his grip on her neck. She fell flat on the sand trying to catch her breath; she was unable to even stand up. Victor screamed with pain, blood oozed out from his forehead.

After catching her breath she picked herself and started to run but Victor clutched her hand. He pulled her back with force and she fell into his lap. He snaked his arm around his neck not caring about the pain her wound is causing to him. She bit his hand which surrounded her neck, but he didn't flinch a bit.

"You bitch, how shameless can you be?" he screamed clutching her neck.

"What the hell is wrong with you? What are you even rambling about? Why are you torturing me? What have I ever done to you?" she screamed hitting on his hand.

"Finally, you have aced acting after all your failed attempts? Is this what you learned all these days? How can you be so worst? Don't you have any shame?" Victor spat at her.

"Who the hell are you man? Do you even know me? Why the hell are you spitting venom on me? Leave me, help... help" she screamed to catch the attention of someone, even though she knew no one would be roaming around at this time.

"Wow Hazel, one should learn how to change true colours in a second from you. When did you degrade so low?" Victor spat at her.

"You fucking blind human, I am not any Hazel. I am Mia; Mia Jannison" she screamed kicking him in the groin.
