"Topaz? Where are you?" Marfo shouted using the voice of his mind. His body frozen in the ground couldn't move much, because Topaz's energy didn't help him with that. Now he looked like a human buried under the ground or perhaps trapped in the hardened mud.
Marfo's breath also started to get irritated, he almost fainted. The darkness that filled his body grew dimmer, the fingers of darkness that emanated from his surroundings moved thinly and almost completely disappeared.
Marfo felt exhausted, felt failed to build his energy. He was a prince of a ruined kingdom in the world of Sotah. The destruction made his Demon failed to build an inner relationship with Marfo because he did not inherit the heirloom that should be owned by the heir to his kingdom. This made Marfo unable to get all the energy and power possessed by Topaz, including energy and the ability to move on the ground.
So Marfo was now dying, near-death in his quest to find Topaz. Meanwhile deep in the ground, close to the core of the earth, Topaz had been imprisoned by a monster's energy field. The monster was one of Corrux's followers that hadn't fully awakened yet. He did not dare to surface and participate in the battle, because his life had not yet fully recovered.
The monster appeared in a dark body shape with dense mint-colored smoke all around it. Pale skin with a dented face, the oral cavity was wide open in an oval shape extending to the chest. Both hands were still not fully formed, still a puff of smoke. While the two thin and elongated legs had supported his visible and invisible body at the same time.
Posei, that monster, approached. His eyes as big as the buttons of a shirt blinked flatly. His long mouth cavity approached Topaz and almost swallowed him. However, Topaz managed to dodge by plunging very quickly.
Posei laughed. "I am a monster that still has more soul than body. I was able to pull you down here because my energy is honestly greater than yours. I really can't fight against alive beings, but that doesn't mean I can't fight ancestral spirits like you.
"I wonder what Demons have been doing all this time? Did they look after all the descendants of their deceased owners? Or are they just sticking around because they need a host? Because you can't live much longer without owning a home, namely the bodies of the descendants of the dead Destroyers.
"Your life is even more pathetic than ours. We don't need a host, and we don't even need an extra life to live. The posterity you look after is also even weaker beings, who can only live longer and become stronger because of the power of the Demons.
"What is that? Making inner connections so that the Destroyers become powerful and so that you can have a place to sleep? Did you do that, Your Highness Topaz, the ancient Demon who ruled the Bughar Kingdom in the past? I'm not sure about that, because your brain is getting stupid and you can't even recognize the descendants of your owner just because he doesn't have an heirloom."
Posei twisted his body, curled up, and vanished into a plume of smoke. Soon he appeared in front of Topaz who was trying to escape. Posei opened his mouth, swallowing Topaz in one gulp. Topaz's body now plunged with the bubbling around him.
Posei burst out laughing. His body of smoke was slowly showing its texture, pale wrinkled skin, eyes that began to glow thickly, and tousled strands of hair growing from beneath his pores.
"I have swallowed a great demon! I have also locked the way out of my body!" Posei bounced with his head up, pounding the ground and smashing it to the surface. His movement was like a comet that fell and destroyed the ground, only in the reverse direction.
Now Posei appeared with his body floating in the air, his thin hands like pale twigs moving in search of prey. When a Destroyer approached him, he only had to strangle him from afar, then the Destroyer would die. Or he just needed to expel the dense energy from within his body, expelled it like the fingers of a twig full of shadows, and killed the enemies.
Posei became very strong because he was one of the Corrux-following monsters that inhaled quite a lot of energy from the core of the universe within his body. Now he immediately flew to approach Daniel's rebirth procession, pounding Luna's wall which he easily destroyed. He had also passed a row of Euros warriors that he could defeat by simply swinging his arms and creating energy.
Now Posei was pounding the Healer's walls. It had easily been knocked down. Posei approached like a majestic executioner, with plumes of smoke billowing along the path he walked.
In front of him was lined up with Healers, and he immediately flung his hand away to get rid of the intruder in front of him. The bodies of the Healers wobbled and fell tumbling. They tried to rise to create a new protective wall, but Posei had already formed the wall of darkness he had created.
Now he was approaching the Awakeners in front of him. Posei also locked them up just before they could create a new protective wall. Now the two brothers who had the element of water in their bodies had been confined within his walls of darkness.
In the distance, Luna was almost dead, with her skin starting to melt and her hair starting to burn. Meanwhile, Marfo had fainted and started dying underground.
Mahesa seemed to see Posei's presence. However, because of the many monsters facing him, Mahesa had a hard time getting close. As a result, he shouted to his entire army, "Approach to the core of the universe! A monster is trying to take it!"
Folcar was the first to come forward. He was so excited when he heard the order from Mahesa. His body leaped over the heads of the monsters, igniting even bigger fires within his body. Folcar slashed at the monsters that tried to block him until he finally reached Posei's position.
Posei could almost touch the three cores of the universe if only Folcar hadn't broken through by kicking him. Posei was quite surprised that he finally bounced back.
"Huh, a monster that swallowed someone else's Demon!" Folcar slashed the tip of his sword into the sky, creating a sign of an explosion. Before long, another Destroyer searched for the spot where Marfo was buried. Together with his demon in the form of a giant rat, he finally found Marfo who was buried deep in the ground and had passed out without being able to be woken up.
The Destroyer saw Luna who had almost lost her life energy. He dug the ground with his Demon, then moved down and pulled Luna's body from above. They moved with strange squeaks while carrying Luna's body and saving her.
"She's going to die soon if she doesn't get help," he muttered. Now he must face the consequences of his heroic deeds. Dego seemed to be approaching from behind, with his bat wings flapping.
Dego's burst of flames had weakened the Destroyer and made him died on the spot tragically and suddenly. Dego's face grimaced, fangs sticking out of his mouth. He swooped down to scorch Marfo and Luna together.
As the flames were about to burst out, Dego finally jerked back after Mahesa, with his lion transformation, grabbed onto Dego's body. Dego floundered and dodged in the sky, trying to let go of Mahesa who had been biting his body. Mahesa's body swelled into a giant, compensating for Dego's size. The two of them fought like wrestling, twisting and rolling in the air.
Meanwhile, Folcar ducked as Posei's shadow nearly suffocated him. Instead, Folcar ignited the fire in his hand, then burned Posei's hand. A groan was heard, which was followed by a blowup of Posei, who now stuck his elastic neck and wrapped it around Folcar's body.
The coils bound Folcar perfectly, restraining his movements including his fingers gripping the sword. Posei giggled happily. "I will also swallow you because now I have obtained my physical form. To be honest I like Demons more than Destroyers. But a disabled Destroyer born without a Demon still falls into my category of prey. So…"
Posei's oral cavity widened and extended again, exceeding his body size. With that twisted neck, Posei swallowed Folcar whole and closed the exit inside his body.
