"Can you be faster? I'm getting weak and dizzy with this sulfur smell." The blonde-haired woman who was screamed, now she rolled back to the side of the saucer or the large stone table, to poke her head and ask Daniel who was still downstairs.
Daniel squinted and scanned the surroundings. The table was too high, the top would not be easy to reach. So he replied, "But how do I go up?"
"Why do you have to go up? You don't have to go up if you want to save me. Just help me down."
Ok, there was a misunderstanding here. So Daniel explained, "I came here to save my cousin. She was a girl with curly hair and a skinny body who was about to be roasted earlier. Did you see her?"
She looked around in various directions then turned back to Daniel and nodded. "Yes, she is not far from me. So you will save her? Ok, I will help you if you also save me."
Daniel nodded because he had no choice. "Can you come down with her?"
She looked unsure and then shook her head. "I'm too weak to carry him." She stretched again and turned to one side. She shouted, "There is a place that can help you up here. But it might be difficult to climb. Are you good at climbing?" She paused for a moment then thought. "Or otherwise, do you have a rope? Throw it on me and I'll help you up. There's a mooring here, you see? In the corner of my leg."
Daniel squinted and looked at it. There was a bulge in the corner of the stone table, so it shouldn't be a problem. But before that Daniel thought that she was tied up, so she would be able to help him. But seeing her offer to help Daniel would waste that opportunity.
The meeting of the monsters outside would probably be over in a bit, so he had to hurry over to save Wendy as well as save the woman at once. It didn't matter, because Daniel wouldn't be able to carry Wendy alone. He still needed help.
Then Daniel pulled his iron weapon, grabbed the rattan rope he had prepared at home. He doubted the length of the rope. But he tried anyway.
"Catch this!" yelled Daniel from below, as close as he could to a tall rock on which lay a wide, flat rock container. The world in this place had allowed Daniel to see things from a different perspective.
The woman above nodded. Her golden hair fell slightly downward until she tucked it behind her ear.
Daniel twisted the rope and tried to throw it over, but because it was too short, the destination could not be reached. At the blond woman's suggestion, Daniel tried to climb the rock towering beside her. At first, it was quite difficult until he finally adjusted and could be at a higher point.
The rope was again thrown with great difficulty, after the sixth attempt, it landed smoothly on the hand of the woman above.
Now it looked like she was busy in her position. She wrapped Daniel's rope around the protrusion she meant. Even though she looked a little weak, Daniel was grateful that she was still able to do her job in this rescue. "Come on now up! The moorings are strong!"
Daniel nodded. He pulled the rope over several times to ensure his strength, without intending to offend her. After being sure, Daniel began to climb as hard as he could. His movements were quite fragile at the start because he was quite lousy at climbing, and he was quite lousy when it came to physical activity. But lately, he had started to train physically with martial arts training, but it's just not enough.
In the end, everything was a success, Daniel reached the top with gasping breath and also a tired body. It had been a long time since he had not been doing a physical activity this hard, and now he felt a little overwhelmed even though he was so young. But in his dark and untouchable heart, he felt like he had lived a very long time. He did have some thoughts that were hard to explain.
When Daniel was able to control his breathing, he now wiped his eyes blurred with sweat. In front of him was a beautiful woman with golden hair, fair and smooth skin, and to be honest… she was almost naked.
Overall she was not completely naked as there were still several pieces of cloth covering some of his vital body areas, while others were ripped apart. Maybe it happened because she had struggled when she was about to be brought here, so accidentally her shirt got torn and almost stripped him off.
Daniel looked away in embarrassment.
"You did it! You did it! Gosh, I won't die here in the end. Come on, we have to pick up your cousin." She seemed oblivious to Daniel's face, which began to turn red. Instead, she was crawling and half running to get to Wendy's body which was lying and fell on someone beside him.
On the stone table, there were at least two dozen human bodies and all of them were still alive, only dying. Some of those who had nearly died had already been roasted over coals of fire and were now certain to be dead.
The woman stopped and gave Daniel a confused glance. She is still quite young, about twenty-five years with an attractive body and very beautiful. "Hey, kid, you don't intend to let me carry your cousin alone, do you? I'm weak enough for this."
Daniel was shocked, cursed himself for not being able to be professional. But this was also beyond his control. He was just a boy who had been obsessed with monsters. He never had the time to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the girls, therefore…
With his face still blushing, Daniel approached. The woman seemed conscious and was starting to feel a little awkward. "Sorry, but I couldn't save my clothes. I feel bad wearing this in front of the kids. But I hope you can understand, our current situation is quite complicated. "
Hearing that had grown Daniel's chivalrous soul. He looked up and began to feel unperturbed by the almost naked appearance of the woman in front of him. And if Daniel paid closer attention, actually some of the people on the stone table were completely naked with many bruises on their bodies.
On the blonde-haired woman's body, there were also several bruises, one of which was a bruise on her hand that looked like the marks of a rope pulled by force.
Her voice shattered Daniel's. "My name is Lisa, but you can call me Lis. What is your name? I hope that after we're safe we can visit each other."
Daniel knew that even though Lis' face was plastered with a wide smile, there was a tone of fear and skepticism in her voice. Lis just wanted to encourage herself about the fate of her life, she was just a woman who wanted to survive.
So Daniel nodded, as he started carrying Wendy behind his back. "My name is Daniel. Nice to meet you, Lis. And I think we can meet again after this rescue. Now come on, we have to get out!"
Daniel tied Wendy's body around him with Lis' help, of course. There were several pieces of shorter string that Daniel prepared in advance, and there were a few more in the bag.
Daniel's feet were now moving, past dozens of pairs of bare feet and were starting to turn pale. There was guilt in his heart that he had to leave them at the table, but his mission was here to save Wendy. He couldn't save everyone, it was beyond his power.
Daniel's body had slid smoothly downwards, with Wendy limping behind his back. The landing was smooth and he could reach the ground very easily.
Lis followed from above. When she got down, Daniel turned his face so that he didn't see any part of Lis' body that could be exposed. Once the two of them were above the ground, they started running as fast as they could to get to the exit.
The lip of the door was almost pasted, but from a distance, a monster appeared approaching. Daniel grabbed Lis' hand to speed up his pace and then hid behind the rocky outcrop outside the door.
The monster just muttered, saying vague things as it entered the room which was the kitchen.
After taking a few breaths and making sure the surroundings were safe enough, Daniel and Lis continued their escape.
